Reviews of Lakeside Shopping Center (Mall)

The hood of my jeep was opened while I was in the mall. After discussing this in my jeep group, this is common with of road vehicles that have modifications. Some people had lights and accessories stolen off their vehicles while parked in the parking garage at Lakeside Mall. These instances were all during the Christmas shopping season in 2018. Lock up vehicles and hide your valuables from plain view. The mall itself is great and family friendly. Check out the play area!

I was always hyped up to go here, since it's one my fave stores which is why I am finally writing a review. Although sometimes the food court is very dirty.... Anyway the stores are great, I go to Gap and Gymboree the most but Gymboree wasn't open last time I tried to go there, I'm not sure if it closed down or anything. They had cool art stuff which I am a fan of so I kinda went crazy in front of my momma lol. Better than Esplanade tbh. Love this store a lot!

We do not have a very large selection in malls around here, so Lakeside isn't too bad. The selection keeps changing though and I never know if the store I want is still going to be there next time I go! The food court keeps changing, parking is always extremely hard and there are not many employees around to help if you need it. It is better than Clearview, but not quite as good as Esplanade.

Love this mall! 15 min ride from downtown New Orleans. A short ride from most neighborhoods. If you're in love with Nike Vapor Max like I am, Champs is the place that has the best selections available! The shoe selection in the women's department at Dillard's is amazing!!! Cozy atmosphere! Has a Starbucks! Stop by.

Lakeside Mall has always been the most extraordinary, primAry place to shop. It's beautiful since they totally remodeled it. They changed stores. Lost some but added top stores. Many new restaurants. So many stores to choose from. Then they added Macy's. Lakeside Mall is the top place to shop now.

I would say, this shopping center was very nice to visit. It had many good stores to visit and shop from. The food court had good variety as well. It is very clean, very neat. I like the decorations they have in some centers. I haven’t seen a Santa clause for kids in a long time. It seemed like the time for all that has been fading but seeing that is always good for the kids. Good place to visit and shop.

For a mall that's 3 floors they should definetly have more of a selection than they do. Mens sneakers is basically foot locker or champs. It's very nice inside though & alot of helping people

Went to have dinner. Signed in at desk to wait for table. Went to the bar to watch LSU/Tulane games. Was skipped over for table. Was given table in bar area. Waitress was very nice and accommodating. Took roughly 30 minutes for 1st course. Was not pleased. Will go back again to make sure that was not the norm. Next review will tell the test.

The food court is very crowded but offers a lot of options. I love this one kiosk that sells incense, geodes and Stones, handmade bracelets Etc. Really friendly guy and he knew a lot about what he was selling unlike most people. Their was also a nice bath bomb kiosk which had a great selection of beautifully scented handmade soaps and bathbombs.

The Lakeside Shopping Center is the best & has the most variety of all the malls in Metairie, New Orleans, Louisana. LakeSide has been my favorite mall since I first started going to it in 2014. The food court has so many options to eats that are good. There is so much walking space throughout the mall and so many events that happen. LakeSide Shopping Center is a beautiful mall in general before and will be after its new renovation. (High recommend this mall)

I love this mall over the Esplanade mall for sure. This has way more stores and food selection compared the only issue is prices since most the stores are kinda overpriced. But it's always nice to walk around to Disney, gamestop or hot topic and get a bite to eat or ice cream

A fine enough mall which had a nice enough selection of shops and a fairly nice food court. Overall a pretty average mall, with plenty of stores I personally have no interest in seeing as I'm not much of a clothes shopper. If you are the type of person to like that though it's probably a pretty good place to go. Plenty of clothes shops to choose from. Just not too much else.

I sometimes reminisce back to when I was a kid roaming the corridors of Lakeside Mall dodging security yeah he's still there good old Paco always got me when I was Fountain fishing or trying to eat a burrito saying that people are there to whoop my ass I bounced his head off the stairs a couple of times the only stairs in the whole place I managed to find them and still whoop his ass handcuffed what you know about that I know all about that the good old days shit I'll tell my grandkids about

I went 2 MAC to purchase some highlighting product but luckily the helpful MUA told me that MAC was coming out with new highlighting products on the 4th of September. Most would have just been interested n the sale but she was so helpful telling me whats really going on and I appreciate that. Also I had some questions about MAC products and she helped me zero in on the product that would work 4 me.

I went to order my usual matcha green tea Frappuccino with whip cream and an ice coffee with heavy cream caramel syrup and sauce and instead I got an overly sweet matcha Frappuccino and the ice coffee had no caramel syrup or heavy cream. It tasted like flavored water.

Any mall during holidays are going to be extremely busy and parking will be a nightmare. Park in the Macy's parking garage well worth the walk through as food court/restaurant parking is horrible everyday no matter the season. Great mall with very high end merchants and great retail and restaurant in and nearby.

I went 2 MAC to purchase some highlighting product but luckily the helpful MUA told me that MAC was coming out with new highlighting products on the 4th of September. Most would have just been interested n the sale but she was so helpful telling me whats really going on and I appreciate that. Also I had some questions about MAC products and she helped me zero in on the product that would work 4 me.

I went to order my usual matcha green tea Frappuccino with whip cream and an ice coffee with heavy cream caramel syrup and sauce and instead I got an overly sweet matcha Frappuccino and the ice coffee had no caramel syrup or heavy cream. It tasted like flavored water.

I absolutely love Lakeside Shopping Center! The mall is always clean and you can find your way around pretty easily. They have a huge food court with many different options 4 meals and desserts. It's full of wonderful stores stores that people know and they have many different activities throughout the year. Including pictures with Santa and the Easter Bunny. And not to mention you can go to the movies there as well exclamation

The variety of stores is appealing for middle class budgets. There is a family restaurant available. The food court is neat with a good assortment of choices. Security is quite adequate and free parking is plentiful. Access to the interstate expressway is easily and safely navigated.

Cafe' Du Monde is located here as well as New Orleans. I promised my mother some fresh beignets.... You can't fresher than this place and my mom was very satisfied. It was a once in a life time trip for her, so spoiling her seemed like the right thing to do.

I don't hate Lakeside Shopping Center. I don't like the parking and non automatic doors for the handicap. Their aren't enough parking spaces for handicaps near the door entrances to the stores. Many of us have, know someone, have family members, who still drive. But may not be able to walk a long distance without resting. Closer parking, and sensitive automatic doors may help them.

I have been shopping at lakeside since I was a teenager . The mall is big and beautiful with several different stores to choose from. And a very large food court with many options. Lakeside mall is a very lively place that i enjoyed going to especially around Christmas time.
