Lakeside Shopping Center has really flourished over the past couple of years. There are many new and exciting stores that have opened. It still has all of the stores that I love as well as many new stores that I absolutely adore, like Sephora, Victoria's Secret, Steve Madden, 9 West, etc., as well as Dillards (which has been totally revamped).

Lots of nice stores to shop at, many food places. Not a mall so you have to walk and drive to different sections. Lots of parking. Beware, there is a bit of construction in one section. Good place for purchasing clothes, shoes and dining that is not fast food.

I always Order ahead and I have never had more than a five-minute wait from the estimated time. The employees are very enthusiastic and helpful and the food is good for the price.

There are a lot of stores at the Elmwood shopping center, so it makes it easy to get all of your errands done in one day without having to drive all over town. There is abundant parking. I usually come to eat at chipotle, work at Starbucks, and take care of my daily errands

This area is off a busy highway in metairie ( Jefferson parish). It has a few different businesses, best buy, at&t, haircut place, home depot, la Madeline, plus others. Also near various places to stop and eat. It's a very busy area and very well lit.

I love Elmwood Shopping Center, It's family oriented, they have added new stores, there's this area that's not hectic and major clothing stores are filled with the latest fashion. There's shoe stores, there's Elmwood Fitness center, make-up store, Old Navy, Express Clothing, DressBarn, Best buy, Restaurants, Ice cream, OFFICE Depot. There's something for everyone in your family.

this is a great place! the road conditions leading up to the destination are; within a 7 miles circumference, pothole free and relatively drivable. and so the drive is enjoyable...i arrive at a very enjoyable scene... enjoyable+enjoyable= a great experience.

This place just keeps getting better! There are many shops for clothing, shoes, accessories, and beauty products. Also, there are a variety of eateries from sweets, Mexican, Italian, Greek, etc. I love the layout of the shopping center and I always find what I need.

Ive ended up here on several occasions just looking for different stores, and I've always had good experiences. The stores have been clean and there's also some great places to eat. I like shopping centers that have nice balance with so many choices. I'm not sure if it's the area, the cost of rent, or something else but every store I've visited and done business with in this shopping center has been very clean and contemporary inside, as opposed to some shopping centers that remind me of a time machine to the disco era, or in some cases the era of five and dimes and black and white TV.

Parking here is a nightmare! Anyone with mobility issues will have problems! That's a shame because there are lots of good stores here. There is Torrid, Dress Barn, DSW, Ulta, Kirklands, Home Goods, etc, etc. Lots of good stores. Also, there are MANY choices for lunch, all different menus, even a good mexican restaurant, and let us not forget La Madeleine. I recommend checking the mall map before going there. It'll make your trip there so much simpler.

This shopping center was easy to access and had plenty of parking you can go here to by many different things there's a stop light to get there is no holes in the parking lot it's in decent shape with clear labeling of parking spaces it's located in Elmwood I hope this review helps people it's very broad and generic but it's better than nothing

The parking area leaves a lot to be desired with it's ridiculously large and numerous speed bumps and hills. The center itself is in the process of a much needed facelift. I think it's looking nice so far. I always feel safe here and really like the stores in the shopping center. I just try not to go much due to the excessive speed bumps.

A fine enough shopping center which, in some areas, is very nice, especially the part with the stores closer together. My only real issue is the large space between some of the shops and others, as there is a collection of smaller stores very far from the larger stores with a large parking lot separating them. If you plan to walk around and shop you may have to traverse this large parking lot, so you may end up just driving around the shopping center rather than walking. Still there is a good collection of shops in this shopp6center which makes it a worthwhile visit.

I truly wish there was an option for a Zero Star. Because Penny's would have it. Penny's Dept store is far too big for people with physical frailties and for the handicap, not to have a place to sit down. They make far to much money not to have scooters or wheel chairs and somewhere that their patrons to sit. Their aren't enough sales persons to help you. Most of them are no where too be found...that was my last time there..too exhausted. PENNYS.. SHAME ON YOU!

I went to 5 below on this trip to Elmwood, was not disappointed as always! Everything here is really 5 below. Perfect for getting some accessories for your phone or mobile devices I always get my ear buds here for the gym. They have a lotta stuff here, much better than the dollar stores! I recommend this spot to family and friends, and will be back!! 5 stars, hands down!

It's convenient, it's near the hotel I was at. Really, outdoor malls shouldn't exist here in NOLA, it's too hot and humid. And people taking their dogs out to walk on the hot pavement, cruel. And dogs overheat very quickly. Leave your pets at home!

Okay shops, though you must be prepared for walking outdoors. I believe they're in the process of becoming more of an outlet mall establishment. Parking lot is littered with speed bumps, so be careful!

I went to Five and Below. I would go back. I was satisfied with the service, (the cashier was very nice and polite). However; the check-out lines were very long that afternoon. Also, parking there is always aggravating because it gets so crowded. I would go back. The store does have some really good bargains on many different items.

We love this store. The clothing line is really nice. My husband is looking forward to his next visit just so he can purchase some. They always have sales. We got my daughter a pair of adorable light up tennis shoes with memory foam for $16! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The store was clean and free of clutter. This store will be our go to skechers store from now on.

I absolutely love going to Elmwood Shopping Center! They have so many stores to choose from huge parking lot and you can get coffee, glasses, clothes , home stuff, wood, Hobby and crafting items, party supplies, and shoes plus makeup all in one place. And you can get something to eat afterwards at one of the many restaurants surrounding the stores. If you haven't been you need to go you will not be disappointed!

I go to Skechers to get my tennis shoes! They're the most comfortable tennis shoes I've ever put on my feet. Gather most comfortable thing I have ever put on my feet from boots 2 track shoes to slippers to sandals to whatever they're the most comfortable and people try to help you a lot maybe too much but they mean no harm and they're only there to help you if you need it. So go with a Skechers between Big Lots and Party City I think in the Elmwood Mall you won't regret it and your feet deserve it!
