If you happen to go to crown center, and you like tea or Dim Sum, consider stopping by Shang Tea! The selection of tea is my main attraction here, as they have at least 12 different types of tea that you can smell before ordering them. The staff are also really kind and helpful!

Was shocked how neat this little area was. It wasn't really on my radar at all. Many little specialty stores, nest food areas, etc. Didn't feel like a "downtown KC" vibe at all, more like a utopian modern universe. Make this place a visit if you are in the area.

Very nice place to visit for shopping and eating. Upscale shops and restaurants. Fun place to walk around. Always something going on in the open court across from Crown Center, weather permitting. Highly recommend a trip here for a romantic get away or fun with the family. Lots of stuff to do for adults and kids.

Will never eat there agin. People working there were extremely rude. Chinese restaurant that serves us our food was gross and the guy working was absolutely rude and mean. Woman how sprayed and clean the tables literally sprayed me and my kids with chemicals.. Never going back.

Had a great day at the aquarium and then headed on over here for a bite to eat. I got a Chicago dog and a giant burrito, which was delicious, and then we visited Clifford the big red dog and my daughter loved it. Plus we got free parking!

If you have a few hours during a trip to Kansas City, circling between Crown Center, Union Station and the WW I museum is well worth the time (+ alot of steps if your fit bit is on). You may want to save Crown Center for last, so you can savor a serving of frozen custard...and you won't have to carry as far the things purchased at one of the many fine shops. There is ample parking in structures at both CC and Union Station. Be sure to check out the hat store at CC..."the missing piece". The owner, Michael is knowledgeable and pleasant.

Crown center is a really nice shopping area. The parking can be rough at peak times but they do validate parking for up to three hours. They have lots of places to eat and a decent variety of stores. When we were spending time at children's Mercy hospital for our son it was a great place to get away for a breather and get some good food. It's a quick walk downhill and you're there!

I love crown center and it's choices, but trying to park in the correct level with handicap accessible entrances is a total crapshoot. You have to slow roll through the parking garage reading each and every door to see which are accessible. There are several levels that are not accessible and you have to walk down the car ramps enough levels until you can find the entrance without stairs. This is entirely frustrating with strollers. The last thing I want to do is walk my precious cargo down the car ramps where we could potentially get hit. It's very dangerous. They should plan better for the crowd they usually are enticing-mom's and their young kids.

A very cool place to spend an afternoon or an hour. Weekend parking is free, and that's a bonus. From there, a streetcar ride takes you to other KC wonders, but if you just want to shop, eat fresh foods, and be entertained without going very far, stay inside and enjoy!

We walked over after spending time in the sea life aquarium. There are a lot shops in crown center. We went into Hallmark, had SPIN pizza which was good. Had a chocolate brownie from the chocolate factory which was incredible.

Crown center is a place in Kansas City with stuff to do. My two year old loved it and mostly it is very kid friendly. Go here with kids if you want to. I think they will probably have a good time. And it is close to a lot of the kid friendly locations.

This is an enjoyable place with easy access to Legoland, the aquarium, shops, and best of all, a large outdoor space with fountains and a stage for weekly free music performances and outdoor movie screenings. We like stopping by for picnics and to let the little ones stretch their legs. Bring a towel!

This mall is very outdated. A majority of the stores are for kids (so if you have kids, this is probably a great stop). But beware—the parking here is horrible. The garage was poorly designed and managed... it’s a mess to find parking, as well as to know where to exit when you need to leave! Additionally, the parking gates at exits always seem to malfunction/freeze, so there’s often a line build up while you wait for it to resolve. Parking is overpriced, but every store validates so you often don’t have to pay for parking.

I really enjoy bringing my children here for a day full of fun. Best place to visit if you have little ones, they have play areas, picture perfect areas, food court full of great options, candy shops, toy stores, The Crayola store is must visit, theater, and so so much more. If you're going to pay for the parking minus well make it a well spent outing.

This shopping center is across from legoland and the aquarium. There are a lot of places to eat here and a lot of stores that kids like. There was a crayola cafe and a toy store. If you are sightseeing and need a quick gift and something to eat, this is a nice place although it was very crowded with kids on field trips.

Lots of fun places to shop and eat. The crayola store has a wide variety of selections and I loved the HUGE hallmark store!!!! This is totally worth checking out! We went to eat at Fritz with the kids trains that deliver the food to your table!!! I love it can't wait to go back!

Had fun at the kids zone, with my kids today, after that we went and enjoyed our time at Lego land. It was free for the kids zone but like $85 give or take a few kids 2 and under are free and have tons of rides, kids 36' can ride with their parents and all the rides are free, exempt the 360° VR Lego experience that has a moving egg that you sit in to give you the full experience of movement (not for those with motion sickness or prone epilepsy). Fun for all ages, they even offer a $6 activity pass that has fun games parents can play with their kids while walking with them.

There was so much to do! My children loved exploring the tunnels, watching the fountains, and going through the different shops. Fritz's restaurant was an amazing experience. They loved that our food was delivered by a train, instead of a waiter. We will definitely go again.

Fun stop for shopping food or a play /show. They also have rotating exhibits in the basement geared towards kids. Chips is a fun stop to watch the workers making fudge. The gingerbread village is always fun to view. Free parking on the weekends, can get validated parking during the week.

Great place to visit with the family. LEGO land and the aquarium offer plenty of interactive activities and things to do with the kids. Gift shops are pricy as expected and they have a military discount but you need to request it. Fritz’s is across the street and in the food court. Great restaurant and fun place to visit. The food is delivered on train cars. Food was a typical burger and fries type of place.

Over all I liked the crown Center. I went into the European Accents and was treated terrible. I asked to look at a silver ring that was locked up. She told me that the costume jewelry was over there(she pointed to the fake jewelry). She then told me that she would come back to help me after she helped another customer. I stood and waited for 30 minutes & she never helped me. I should have left when she pointed at the costume jewelry(when I asked to look at a specific ring). I am very disappointed to have been treated so bad.

Crown Center is one of the jewels of Kansas City. It should certainly be considered a great place to stay if you're coming in from out of town. The Westin is fine Hotel. The shopping and the proximity to the trolley line make it a very convenient location.

It is an amazing place and a tourist attraction. I and my mom had a really good time here. As we visited the mall prior to Memorial Day, there was a beautiful musical fountain show. we really enjoyed it. There are many restaurants of different cities states and countries. Amazing place to visit.

We finally made it to Crown Center to see the Journey to Oz exhibit this past weekend and my girls LOVED it! Crown Center is a great place to take your kids for a couple of hours to visit the different shops (Crayola, Toy Time, Chips Candy Factory) or just walk around to see something different indoors. We did let the girls take the Westin Hotel elevator to the top floor and down (thank you!) and they loved that too! The food court area has so many options if you're hungry or want a snack. And parking was free on the weekend so that was great surprise! We parked and got right in to the shops.

Crown Center is beautiful in the winter with the lights and the mayor's christmas tree and all of the decorations. We really enjoyed having lunch and looking around. We popped into Sea Life aquarium too. It's more of a browsing destination than a shopping one but it's always fun.

Had a wonderful time at the Irish Festival. The Red Hot Chili Pipers were well worth waiting for. .. highly entertaining ... and all modern top hits in pop and rock done with several bagpipe players and drums and brass. Cultural festivals, Mayor's Christmas tree, hotels, movies, theater, restaurants, local, regional, national shops - close proximity to tons of activities and museums. Crown Center is a fun place to walk, shop, people watch, meet up, lunch. It is more expensive than other shopping areas around town. Parking is free only certain times or days, like on weekends. You can validate in any store with any purchase, even the eateries. There are movies, live theatre, and rotating activities downstairs like Clifford, Santa, Halloween stuff.

My 8yr old daughter & I had a blast here! It was amazing! & even tho we were told that nowhere in the stores pierced ears, we found an amazing little store with the best staff I've ever been helped by. Crown Center had once been the destination in which individuals and families from all socioeconomic statuses could enjoy a great time. They have taken on new stores, restaurants and attractions that led them back to four star status. Fritz has always been a favorite but is always packed. We went to Crayola Cafe. The food was delicious but the service was even better. Our hostess was very attentive and friendly. We did not have a long wait for our food and the view from the 2nd floor was nice.

So many unique restaurants from upscale casual dining to New York deli, candy made on site, and some cool little shops to browse. Don't miss the chance to shop at Halls on the upper level. It's nice that this is all connected by The Link walkways that go between nearby hotels, Crown Center shops and entertainment, and you can even go to Union Station from here; all without going outside.

I like crown center. Lot to do and see for all ages. The lego land was a blast, hallmark has a nice tour lots of shopping, large hotel and beautiful fountain. Close by is the WWI park and the Union station. Great place for a day visit.

Good place to take kids for Thanksgiving and Christmas time however that is irrelevant to me since I am child free. One of my college buddies is up in the Hallmark hq offices and seemed to like his employment with Hallmark the last time we spoke. Crown Center is an okay place to shop and eat. The quality of prepared food varies by day. Visiting Crown Center on a holiday however is like revisiting last century because unfortunately nothing's open. I hope next time I am in Kansas City that I am able to do a little bit of shopping and have lunch.
