I am a New York resident and was denied the purchase of a rifle in this Pennsylvania store because of where I reside. The gun I was purchasing was compliant with my state's laws and I also passed a background check yet I was denied the purchase because I showed a New York State driver's license. I will never shop here again.

Absolutely completely avoid the blue dreams vacation people.. yes the deal sounds great and value isnt bad but it IS NOT as advertised. I was told I would be staying at the big cedar lodge in Branson Missouri. The sales rep at this bass pro reinstated this multiple times throught the 20 minutes we talked as he took his marker and drew all over the fine print distracting us. I finally booked the vacation for a month later and they had us check in at a Radisson hotel just to come back and send us to a comfort inn about 20 minutes from the lodge then i was asked to go to a seminar at the big cedar lodge the next morning. I did what I could to enjoy the vacation but if you go expecting to stay at big cedar lodge, as they advertised you'll be severely disappointed.

Like all Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops, it's an adult toy store! I went to pick up parts to fix my boat trailer, and got to talking with Greg over in fishing. About a half hour later, I'm out of there with an idea for my next baitcaster, and a Whopper Flopper! Greg's an awesome guy with tons of knowledge. Go to Bass Pro Shop, you'll love it!

I'm not a fan of the turnstiles in the front at all. It really discourages strollers with kids. How else am I supposed to tame and haul my child while my husband paces the aisles figuring out his new spinning wheel setup? Lol The prices seemed steep for all the womens apparel and clearance wasn't clearance prices, they were sale prices. The fishing aisles were stocked and packed however. Seemed like lots of options for outdoor 'toys' as well. All in all, we found what we were shopping for, but didn't buy anything else.

The concealed carry class was amazing. I learned a lot and definitely would recommend this class to everyone that is even considering carrying. Roy Jones is by far the most knowledgeable and best instructor I have ever had. Dont waste your time with other classes. You will be better prepared to carry by coming to Roy's class.

This place is amazing! Shopped for fishing lures for my husband, so many choices and a helpful employee to suggest the correct type of lures. Than my friend and I got our picture taken with Santa and the photographer gave us two copies of the photo for free. Bought some kettle corn on the way out. It was fun for holiday shopping.

Good store. Clean restrooms and have everything for all year around gear and more outdoor items for all use here. Best thing i like about this store is the big fish with big live fresh water fish. The alligator gar there is my fav. Plus they have a big catfish and pikes. Other fish in there as well. Plus they an animal dioramas set perfectly for show. Great illustration for all ages, bet the young ones can agree. This store has me in awe. Sorry. Im from Brooklyn NYC and i can and do appreciate a this store.

We love bass pro for lots of our outdoor needs but we also greatly appreciate what they do for the kiddos at Christmas as well as Easter. Our most recent trip was to see Santa. We walked in and go tour bass pass and we had about a 2 hour wait until our time slot. We were able to go get lunch and then come back to let the kids play with the various activities they had set up to do while waiting. They always have a wonderful Santa and we look forward to our photo each year. This year, our 2 year old wasn’t too keen on being in the photo by herself so they let us all jump in and get a family photo. My 3 year old was ecstatic! She loves going to then”fish store” at any time but throw in Santa and you’ve made her day!

It's a little hard to find an employee to assist you, most of the time they are attending to another customer, or are off somewhere busy, but overall it is the selection that draws me in to the store. The inventory is overwhelming in a good way, and they sale the best products on the market.. if you want something that will hold up, and is reliable this is the store to find it in.

I had a great experience with the staff in the Fly Shop, and generally a good time just talking with the staff about fly fishing. They are very knowledgeable since they are fly anglers themselves. BPS can service anyone from the novice to the pro. As a beginner in fly fishing, they weren't condescending in the slightest, which added to the overall pleasant experience.

Good store. Customer service is horrible. The lady at the customer service desk was very unfriendly. I was returning a reel had a receipt but she said Bass pro shop does not allow reels to be returned even tho my reel was still in the box unopened and a Bass pro qaulifier baitcasting reel. Used very vulgar language that I assume she thought I couldn't hear.

I visited this place to purchase a 4 wheeler for my son. I didn't feel the staff was very helpful and seemed a bit cocky to me. I ended up purchasing a $10,000 4 wheeler. But next time I would prefer to look somewhere else that offers better service and is more kind to the customer. I'm not sure if it was because I am a female, or the fact I had other children with me. They thought I wasn't serious and a waste of their time. I'm not sure. But it wasn't appreciated and I won't make another large purchase there in the future.

Love coming here! Great store, good prices... fun for the kids too. If you are the outdoorsy type, they literally have everything you'll need. Fishing, hunting, camping, boating, guns, a fly rod shop... their epic tank with an awesome blue catfish. You might get lucky and see feeding time, which is pretty cool. They have shooting games you can play too, which are fun for all ages. Throughout the year they have special events for kids and pets, which are usually free (their Christmas event is really fun). Join the rewards program, you'll save some money after a few purchases.

Horrible customer service at the firearms counter. This place also has terrible firearms prices. I waited 40 minutes to see a handgun to be told that it's a company policy that they can't remove the trigger lock, which isn't normally an issue but the particular handgun I was looking at had an excessively large trigger lock and I couldn't even grip it properly. The store employee didn't care even after I asked how I was supposed to know if I liked it if I couldn't hold it. I will never spend a dollar at Bass Pro or Cabelas...I'll be going to a real gun store tomorrow to look at the exact same thing and I bet it will have the trigger lock removed before it's handed to me.

EXCELLENT CONCEAL CARRY COURSE!! Attended Roy Jones' conceal carry course on Jan 2019. I was concerned with being intimidated in class because of my limited experience with handling guns. Roy was an awesome instructor and a real professional. His vast knowledge and experience with gun handling and laws was extremely beneficial! Highly recommend this class to anyone wanting to get a concealed handgun certification. Great price for superior training!

I purchased a new fishing boat. The four times I have had it in water. Problems have happened three times. The second time in water the tack was jumping like crazy. Took it to bass pro service to check, also had factory recall. They found nothing wrong. Next trip to Canada. Would not not start second day. Had to rent boat to fish, and towed back to truck. Back to Bass Pro. Main ground line loose. Really?? Fourth trip had hard rain on water non watertight fuses got wet, had to dry out couldn’t fish half day. Cost me a lot of money and fishing time and heart ache.

We enjoy stopping here to view the fish, play the shooting game as well as shopping and the season extras they offer. Our favorite it Santa's Workshop. They have weekly crafts & decorate the back of the store up where the boats are kept. They have games for the kids to play & you can get a free photo with Santa.

Apparently it's an exit, I have came through it many times and this one time a grouchy cashier woman yelled at me saying it was an exit not an entrance. I will be avoiding this location now, like seriously what is her problem. The "exit" doesn't appear to be marked clearly as I didn't see any signs saying exit only.

This by far is my calming store I don't like to shop but I couldn't spend hours in here just walking around. The best part is in the back of the building on the top floor they have chairs so you can look out these huge windows into the back area which has a beautiful pond walking trail around the whole complex and a park for the kids. This place is absolutely awesome. If you're into hunting or fishing in any way, this is the place for you. They have everything you could want for fishing downstairs, including boat sales, with camping and hunting sections on the second floor. The interior design is absolutely gorgeous, from the hunting lodge aesthetic to the giant aquarium full of game fish. Do yourself a favor and make a trek here at some point - you won't regret it.

What a great place. I was looking for a trail camera and wanted to speak with an associate to gather more information. The associate explained to me how the camera works and also how to download the pictures . He even got the download device out of the box and explained where to put the sd card and verified that I have an android phone. What great service. I love that store.

I just finished taking the Constitutional/Conceal Carry class with Roy Jones and loved it! Roy is very knowledgeable of the current gun laws and legalities of conceal carrying a gun. He has tons of patients with people that have never shot and people with years of experience. I was uneasy about taking a gun class as a single woman but Roy puts you at ease from the get go! He is also very entertaining. I would recommend anyone, especially women, who have been considering taking a conceal carry class to sign up for a class with Roy. You won't regret it!!! Roy is Awesome!!!

Waited in line for over an hour to make sureties grandkids got a picture with Santa. Some of the woman employees were rude. The customers were the rudest! Cutting in line, opening the crafts and taking handfuls of them before the craft time. Otherwise Santa is awesome. The workshop area was fun. The Carolers were great! We watched the fish for awhile. We sat by the fireplace. I tried out the electronic shooting gallery. I made use of the souvenir penny machine, and gave it to my girlfriend as a keepsake. Found it slightly off putting that the sales person in the boat and golf cart area deemed it appropriate to verbally reprimand my nephew without my consent. But this is America so I just cussed him out and went and looked at the fishes. Note to management: if you do not wish to annoy such important employees with the devastating honks a 3 year old can create with a golf cart than simply DISCONNECT THE HORN. Note to potential golf cart buyers the horns work very well and are very easy to use.

There is also a large aquarium in the back of the store with native fish that my kids love to go look at when we visit the store. There are also free events every Christmas for kids.
