This location is great. Went in to try on some frames so I could see how the fit was before I ordered online, and walked out with two pairs. Not only was the staff incredibly knowledgeable, but the woman I was with showed me the comparison prices online once I mentioned why I was there, and explained to me how you get a free one year coverage protection against damage if you buy in store. And that id only have to pay half if something did happen. And they had a promo going on so I even saved $60 bucks!. I usually order online but with what you gain in store, their customer service and the awesome experience I had I’ll definitely be back.

Unfortunately the staff are not incredibly knowledgeable about their inventory. It was almost impossible to find a pair of non-polarized sunglasses with a brown tint even with the staff's help. Also, the prices here are about double what you would find online. Don't waste your time/money.

I see another lady’s review about scratches on her $500 lense... I JUST ran into the same issue with a pair that was about $200. I have 3 little scratches in a small area on my lenses and they said that “I” dropped it!!! Mind you, I bought these glasses at 5:38pm on a Sunday so the sun was setting. I didn’t use them until the next day!!! I seen a small scuff and waited until the location (nearest to me )was open...at 3... (Coronado) Tried to get a refund or even exchange but they refused to help me.. I understood because I didnt buy it from her hut... I got it from uptown store so I went over to that location and tried to get some help as to what I can do. the guy was friendly and very helpful with my purchase but as far as my refund or exchange he sat quietly while the young lady handled it all rudely... but sadly I seen the last review saying a guy sold her a pair. I’m wondering if it’s the same guy that sold me mine? They claim they’re the best at inspecting before selling but a same issue twice? STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!

Went in two times in one day and first time when I started looking, the guy working was super nice and helpful finding me good sunglasses and he showed me a pair that I loved so I asked if they could hold them for a few hours while I think about it. I come back a few hours later, there was a different guy and same thing. He was also really helpful and friendly and checkout was easy and fun!

I have done my business with SGH for the last 12 years, worked for them and have about 15 different pairs from them. I never had any problems until I bought some Prada sunglasses for $500. The guy wanted to adjust them for me and used heat/tools for the side pieces and nose piece. After he was done he boxed them up and I left... The next day when I opened them, I saw a bunch of deep scratches on the frame and lenses. I would have never paid $500 for damaged sunglasses! I went back to exchange them or get a refund and management basically accused me of lying by saying "We would never sell sunglasses in this condition." They refused to help me, blamed me and were rude. Another employee reached out to me and said they called all of the NM stores and told them about me, in reference to me returning sunglasses before. Which had nothing to do with selling me defective sunglasses, and it was unprofessional and horrible customer service. They do not care about the people spending money there, they just want to make a sale. I used to work for them... and never will I do or recommend business with them again. They are not honest at all and to gossip and lie about customers is just distasteful, especially when an employee reaches out to me directly to let me know.

My purchase was good and the woman who helped me was very professional, helpful and friendly. However, I will not 5-star the company for not being clear to employees about the role that something like reviews play in helping other customers. The employee here said that she was aware of a no media policy and so she was not sure that she could authorize me taking photos for this review. That’s definitively something to improve on for the company itself. It bothers me every time a business does that and it surely discourages you from going back because the message it sends is that transparency is not a company priority.

We left because of his unwillingness to work with us, went to the Coronado location (kiosk) and found Stephen, who was beyond helpful and friendly. Excellent experience. Not to often do you get more than what you pay for these days. Had a very knowledgeable and friendly person assist me. Answered all my dumb questions without making me feel challenged, and helped put back together a previously purchased pair that I was replacing, so I now have my old pair as a backup. Very happy with my new glasses and extremely happy with the service.

I bought 2 pair of sunglasses a month ago but one of them is already cracked and I did not drop or do anything bad to break it. I even protected like my pet because it's not cheap . I spent $340 for that pair and it's PRADA brand. I came to the store yesterday and they tell me to pay 50% of the price for a new one. Why would I have to pay almost $200 more for the same pair of sunglasses that I just wore in a month.
