At this moment this business gets a score of 3.9 stars out of 5 and that rating has been based on 2882 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is very good, and it is founded on a high number of scores, so we may think that the valuation is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to set evaluations when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Mall corresponds to the category of Shopping mall.
Very fun. Has a lot of places to shop at.
People don't give this mall enough credit - it's a wonderful mixture of coorpations and small businesses that have a great selection of items.
Looks fun for kids. Spent a lot of time looking for a bathroom.
Food was really great and atmosphere was decent. We will definitely return!
This mall used to be packed with all major shops but it has very few shops left. You can watch the latest movies though at the theater. There are several kiddie activities if you want to be indoors, great for rainy days. Also a good place if you want to shop without dealing with crowds like other malls.
Its super fun but they took away so much. And after they took away the carousel it felt empty
Google says I've been here before but I don't remember it so it probably wasn't a very memorable mall.
Not enough stores. Think I saw tumbleweeds in there.
Stratford was once my favorite mall. It was smaller and more manageable than Woodfield. It had an airy open feel and a more relaxed atmosphere. It once claimed a wide variety of stores, restaurants, and boutiques. Sadly this is no longer the case. It is a shell of its former self. Most of the nicer stores are gone. Sears is the latest anchor store to close its doors. The variety of stores have been replaced with seedy kiosks, entertainment/gaming stores, and empty store fronts. In some places it is reminiscent of a ghost town. It is certainly not a destination place for pleasant shopping.
I like SSMall, closer to my house and i like the ambience. I hope lots of people will still be attracted to the finest dept stores we have left..hooray to our SSMall...
Nice stores to shop. Very convenient parking. Good selections.
It is still a nice clean place . But the whole mall atmosphere is gone .
There's a huge pile of dookie on the Bathroom floor. That's nasty.
Annie's pretzels with salt or cinnamon are very delicious. They hit the spot for a desert today.
Decent theater and good mall especially if you dont like big crowds
How much are people getting paid to rate this place 5 stars?? You can go there anytime anyday and be able to hear a pin drop. Only thing still keeping this place going is kohls and the theater.
Round 1 is a great place for a fun time
Love the furry babies store and the hot rags store is bomb
Been going to this mall since I was a kid. Have always loved the food court and playland, although now that I'm older I see that the playland is not monitored very well. There are a lot of kids that are way to old playing in there and hurting the little ones. Other than that there are a wide variety of shops, choices in the food court and even the awesome movie theatre.
To each its own this place is weird
Great place, plenty of parking, well maintained.
Love it. Kohls had what I wanted, and on sale
My favorite mall in the area, it fulfills my needs without driving far. Ample free parking space.
Its a mall. Come for the pants, Stay for the microbrewery. But seriously love the food at 25west, they are adding a grocery store soon to the building.
Not many stores but nice food court and atmosphere. I go there for round 1 and theater!
I Don't like that place Weird people having their business there and i just don't like atmosphere around it
They still have some good stores but nothing special
It's nice people should keep visiting and it's fun for the families
The mall is unfortunately dying with only having entertainment here now. Stores that are open don't have the things I'm looking for. A few recent places to eat, but nothing to shake a stick at.
Nice mall. They have carousels and train for kids that goes around and are located in the lower level. The mall offer variety of stores and stuff for kids to enjoy. If you are by the area or close by check this out!
Currently in remodeling but good stuff
It is doing it's best to remain in an era of retail turmoil
Actually I went to 25 West Brewing, they had a decent selection of beers, and really good food, I definitely recommend checking it out
Great mall with lots to do!
Nice Place to hang out with different stores.. Just been especially for the Harley davidson store..
This is the best mall as far as kids and activities. There’s a bouncy house chu chu train skating rink wrestling area is party lounge Red Robin’s the movies and so much more. The shopping is great I love the Burlington coat factory it’s my favorite the foot locker has some great sales and deals for the entire family overall a great place to take the family for a chill shopping experience
I am shocked that this mall is still in business. The entire floor was covered in filth and every couch cushion was filled with stains. Over half of the stores were closed. The only few stores keeping the mall open were the theatre and the couple big name stores (which were empty when I went in there). The nail salon and the Fit4Mom store looked like successful stores. There is no need for 4 different jewelry stores in 1 mall. There was also a very eerie vibe right as I walked in and as I walked out. There was probably less than 80 people in the mall at one time. I would not be surprised if this mall closes within the next 5 years.
Convenient with plenty of free parking. Lots of empty stores lately though.
Pretty cool place !!
Love it. Close home.
Very empty. Ice skating rink in a store? 2 escape rooms? Two T-Mobiles within throwing distance? Very odd arrangement of stores. Lots were locked up an hour or more before closing time. Bad food court, never really been a fan of any of the restaurants there. Red Robin, Kohl's, an overpriced movie theater (do people go here? I always looks closed) and a limping Burlington Coat Factory keep this mall open. Quite sad.
Always great to walk around and eat here!
Would be nice if it was more alive.this place is dying
I would say that this mall is underrated and to say that it is dying would be quite blown out of proportion. I have came here many times during my free time and I can say that the selection of stores is plentiful enough to have a shopping experience with little complaint. The theatre there is of decent quality although I would say the pricing is a bit high and the food court offers a selection that is decent in size. There are a few small size, great price convenience like stores scattered through the mall such as the newsstand and the dollar store, both of which offer items of food for little cost.
2nd review. With Carson's closed and Sears failing, the mall has seen better days. Clean & bright but not as crowded as on weekends.
Sarku Japón very good food
Nice mall, to bad it is half empty.
Dont go there , its useless
Still has the shop's we were looking for. Clean inviting atmosphere. Plenty of parking.
There's a lot of empty stores but it's a nice place for a play date with my daughters friend because it's never very crowded. We can eat at the over priced food court & walk around & play in the kids area & not be stampeded by shoppers on a mission.
It’s sad there’re a lot of places closed.
It's not the same as it was not five years ago. Way too many empty stores. Very disappointing.
It's a good place for kids to run around. It can get crowded but kids dont care.
Great place for any type of shopping.
I would not come back here if everything was free
A fun spot to hang with friends, i mainly come here for round one.
Pretty decent mall now having round 1 entertainment center. Little one LOVES train and carousel here. Only reason for 4-stars is play area is TERRIBLE.
That noodle place was awesome i really like their rice bowls even thigh they're a bit pricey
Lots of demolition going on. Went to mall to the Cinemark theater. Which had great admission prices for seniors . Didn't buy popcorn or soda. Water was $4.00 a bottle
Great place to exercise 365, even in the middle of some terrible blizzards.
Well square mall is the best has a food court they have clothing store and more a place for kid to play
Is place is good and my childhood palce and This mall needs to stay alive
Movie theater is nice.
Sears store. Ordered on line, got notified when items ready, and pick up was very easy.
This place is slowly dying out. Which is too bad, it had a great selection of stores. Seems like many anchor stores are bailing, though there is not a major mall in vicinity. Huge parking lot and still some decent stores left
The mall is close to being shuttered..take advantage of rhe savings at Kohls and FYE...
This mall is not safe and all the good stores are closing one by one. They need to level this mall and make a commons. I think it would boost sales and supply and demand. All is does now is bring bad into a nice town.
I was at 25 west brewery at the mall and I had the ribs they were bad
This mall is not what it used to be. It's falling apart inside and out. Parking lot has suspicious people that just sit in their cars for hours. They are there when you walk in and still there two hours later when you return to your car. Update this mall and add more security or kiss this place goodbye.
there is too cool and fye that sell japanese and kpop things. there is a puppy place where u can see adorable puppies. there is a theater inside and I'm pretty sure tickets cost $5-15. there is a skating rink, escape room, and a carousel. it's really fun.
This mall has become a lot of no name stores with products you've never heard of. It used to be a great mall but sadly all the main stores left and took the mall with it.
Love this place.
This mall is struggling, it has lost three of its big anchor stores. It does have some new restaurants, it is trying to make a comeback. I hope it succeeds oh, because it's so close to a house!
Needed a blood test at the Quick Care. Took longer than usual pretty busy today.
Best place to watch movies without paying ridiculous prices.
So.many fun things to.do here now
The store I went to had moved but I was told where they moved and was able to go there.
Mall inside children play field is really unforgettable.
Great place and easy to park. Its not crowded and the prices were fair. Staffs were friendly too.
Pretty regular mall to me, Round 1 makes it worth returning to.
Kind of a strange mall. Has some regular retail stores but it also has a bunch of weird businesses. There was a soccer training gym next to a commercial real estate company next to a personal training gym. Not typical but has what you need I guess. Parking lot needs work though.
On the verge of becoming another dead mall.
Nice and friendly clerks
The mall has plenty of parking. Stratford mall is an indoor mall its spacious and clean. A couple of stores has closed down and some left but so far its still doing good. Food court is still doing good and theres still a lot of activities to do inside the mall.
Nothing special and a bit ran down but my daughter loves the riding animal place and santa was pretty solid this year, unlike the previous year. I give a 2.5-3 range.
A once thriving shopping center is nearly a ghost town. There are more empty storefronts than occupied ones.
Beautiful mall. Though the mall was built in the 80's,you can tell they have taken care of it. Still plenty of stores and food court options. Go on a Saturday and it's very lively. Support local businesses and visit.
I wouldn't call this a mall any longer.
Okay place. Stores are closing.
Love all the store and it's a bit slower pace at this mall which make a the shopping experience very relaxing and easy... I am so happy i can enjoy the mall with out feeling to crowed...
As usual not too crowded, nice and clean but sad to see so many empty stores and closings I like shopping there
Was sad and depressing. Almost all stores are closed down. The place feels abandoned. Once was a nice mall. Now it was just a place to take a walk and get some steps in. But not a cheerful walk. Because everything is closed
Voted early. Shopping Center was very empty, missing Macy's and other favorite stores. Happy to see Bath and Body Works still present, but sadly not busy. Worried about my go to shopping center.
Seriously shut this eye sore of a shell of a mall down. It’s terrible. The stores in that place all suck. The mall smells bad too now. It’s seriously ghetto. Gurnee mills, wood field malls are still amazing. Bloomingdale is too cheap to care about the mall.
Great mall. Many stores and services for people of all ages. NOT crowded during the day. About eight fast food restaurants to choose from. MOVIE THEATER, ICE SKATING RINK, BOWLING ALLEY, ARCADE. FUN FUN FUN! Just make sure you bring a lot of money because you're not going to want to leave. Art made by community kids displayed near the food court. Massage chairs with charging usb ports available. Couches also available in different areas to rest from all your shopping.
This mall is amazing i think you should go there
I dont shop anymore at Stratford. Everything is over priced. CARSON'S is gone. Movie and food court good. u can get everything at a much better price on line
Great cruise night.
Been coming here since I was a kid hasn't really much changed over the years
Too many stores closing.
If I could rate Stratford Mall a 0 star I would cause the mall is like a ghost town
Most of the stores have gone out of business or left the mall, but there is still so much to do here! They still have round one, and theres an ice skating rink now. They have the bounce house for the kids and the kids play area, which is awesome for the little ones! In the morning they open the mall area up for walkers, so that's been awesome during the winter months. They also have the movie theater - yay! It's a great place to go and hang out and have fun!
Not many stores open in this mall.
Visited for a party at Funflatables which was excellent. Mall seemed very empty and has multiple large retail locations sitting dark.
Wat happened to all the stores is only 1/2
Not alot going on. Its slow i only go for the food
Nice and clean! very good food too!
Not many stores remain from my days coming here as a teenager...but, there are entertainment options for young and old plus some decent food options.
What a great big mall!
The mall is lacking anchor stores. Carson's just went Out of business Kohl's is moving to another location. On the upside Woodman's is demolishing what used to be the old Macy's location and they will be building a 250,000 lp ft² grocery store. The mall is starting to get geared towards a family entertainment center. I also heard they are going to build condos at the site of what used to be one if the empty anchor stores. Now that would be cool! Take an elevator down and you're in the mall, with movies, a grocery store, restaurants, boutique shopping, and entertainment! In 2 or 3 years of this place is going to be fabulous. I'm keeping an eye on this one!
Plenty of parking. Great clothes at Kohl's and Sears.
Soo warm n stuffy, uncomfortable!
Sadly this mall is very representative of the changing times in the brick and mortar versus mall like experience as well as the mall is aesthetically pleasing all the major stores have left a Kohls which I can only imagine can hang in there so much longer without additional larger stores to support bringing in new customers
It's nice to see this mall making a come back - there were a few years that I thought the whole thing was going to be shut down. That being said, we went to the "mall" bathrooms by the food courts at about 3:30 pm on a Sunday, and honestly, they were DISGUSTING! If my 5 year old wasn't about to have an accident, I would have left the mall to go somewhere else. We wiped the toilet down with sanitizing wipes, and held our breathes like deep sea divers, and made it thru, but come on! The food court floors were so dirty, it was like walking thru a college bar - our feet sticking to the ground but we also were kicking food. Not just crumbs, but some times there were actual pizza crusts. However, once you got away from the food court area, the mall was much cleaner, and you could tell it has been getting updated - it really did look great, especially if you walk in the mall entrance on lower level by Round 1, that whole hallway just looked beautiful (minus Carsons). Having grown up near this area, I am happy to see the effort to revive this mall.
Great selections if merchandise
Fun place to spend the day. They have some ride on animals (electronic) that look like they would be fun. To ride. Have some escape rooms that are a puzzle to solve and fun on the second floor (kind of like a scary house but some kid friendly ones). Not many food options or restaurants. Not many movie options I. The theatre either. Variety of stores. Did not see a huge play area for kids like Yorktown but maybe I missed it?
They have a minimal selection of stores but overall it's a peaceful mall
Went there to walk the mall and have lunch for the day
All closed down No stores horible place
Very poor... almost empty place
Nice clean mall. Best thing about it is it’s never busy. Some of the anchor stores are missing. There’s more than just shopping to. There is a theatre arcade bowling alley and good restaurant selection.
A beautiful place if you are looking to enjoy your weekend or free time. U can find variety of brands in clothing, footwear etc. The multiplex is also very good and the price is also reasonable. The only thing they need to change is confectioners after 10:00pm. I personally feel they should extend a little bit more on that.
The reason we going there just for bowling... My son love the place.
Stratford was the best mall ever in the 80s and 90s. It's now a GHOST TOWN. RIP Stratford Square... My childhood place of dreams
Sad to see soo many empty stores, I remember when it was new. Always liked going out there.
Despite what others think, there is plenty to shop for and do here. I enjoy shopping at this mall. It's not overcrowded or overpriced. Food court has great selection and the theater is nice!
Malls are a dieing breed. This one's packed with everything your looking for.
Shopping mall in Bloomingdale. Their website says,"Stratford Square is located in the beautiful town of Bloomingdale, IL, a northwestern suburb of Chicago. Boasting over 1.3 million square feet of retail, dining, performance activities and signature entertainment options, Stratford Square is an exciting hub of activity. Anchored by four major department stores, Kohl’s, Carson’s, Burlington and Sears, Stratford Square offers a wide array of traditional and notable retailers."
I prefer going to this mall over Woodfield. There is a wide variety of stores to choose from with less traffic navigating through the mall. It also includes a convenient movie theatre right inside! I also feel like I’m not being suffocated by the kiosk employees. They offer a food court as well with a wide selection of restaurants and even some dessert spots!
Love this shopping mall. Lots of great shops helpful directories, airy mall I don't get panic attacks in this mall unlike Woodfield.
Love the mall a lot to see especially for kids
Very clean. Good place to bring your kids for some fun.
Gorgeous mall I hope they fill all the empty spaces.
Love our mall!! So nice and close. It's a shame so many stores are closing.. Woodman's should help a lot! Bring the people in, please!!
Sadly this once very busy mall has been hit with lots of store closings. Some major Anchors have left and remaining retailers very random. Carson's in process of liquidating. Lots of children's and teen stores remain. Movie theater, indoor ice rink, bowling. Handicap parking good best locations by Kohl's, Sears. Food Court decent.
A nice little mall.
I really like this place the Cenima and finish line Sears , etc a lot of places to go to
5-6 years ago, this was the mall to be at. Currently it's difficult to say this is even a mall anymore. Store options are extremely limited and the mall looks like it hasn't been renovated in a long time. Lighting is extremely dim in a lot of places in the mall and there's a weird stench throughout the mall. Went on a weekend and there were not many people in the mall like there would be in other malls. Disappointing experience
Its been a long time since i had been there still some good stores left
A shadow of it's former self. Sad.
This mall is disgusting. The floors are covered in mud And mold. I barely see any mall staff present
Thought this place would've been demolished by now but it's still relevant even in a world dominated by Amazon
Going to this mall is fun, unique, and interesting, but I would not recommend buying stuff from FYE. They say their products are brand new, but they Lied. I now know from Personal experience.
most of the major stores have shut down or are shutting down, just small stores left. going to the mall just isnt the same as it was back in the 90s.
I'm not sure why stores are closing at this mall. I think they still have great stores on offer. They have a ice rink but it is rather small. Better than nothing though. Great food served as well.
Great mall nice store selection
Has a good amount of stores and manages to stay alive pretty well.
Good place to chill and people watch
Nice variety of shores yet, many have shut down since 2010. Would like it a lot more if they had offered more clothing for plus sizes, put game stop back in, and if they had another anime store with a bigger variety.
The Scenery, food, and the game courts are efficient.
Returned an item to finish line, because I purchased it online had a family pick it up they forgot to take off the theft tag. Manager wouldn't accommodate the mishap, so I asked for a refund Yeahhh they SUK POOR CS!!!
We love it! Its always clean. Parking is not a problem. Never too crowded which is not always a good thing. Maybe they should push with more sales events.
Appears many stores have closed. Sears is closing, a mess inside. Did not seem busy.
Personally I love this mall. Pokestops yes. Gyms yes. Good stores yes... sadly some of the best stores have been closing or moving out...
It was quite difficult to get where you needed to go, even with checking the directions inside the mall nothing is properly marked.
Haven't been here in years was back in town for a reunion and decided to check it out for nostalgia. All I can say is Wow. I was literally the only living soul walking around the place at 7 in the evening. Very creepy. I was waiting for zombies to come running at me. I remember when you couldn't even get a table in the food court in this place. I guess you could blame amazon but this place looks severely neglected. Mold on the floor, flies hovering above the trash cans. Wouldn't shock me to hear this place was closed down in the next year or so.
The mall is pretty sad. More stores closed than open. Filthy floors throughout the whole mall. It appears they haven't been cleaned in a long time! It's only good for mall walking, and there are people doing that. Probably more doing that then shopping!
Been here so many times
