This Mall is included in the category of Shopping mall.
Need more stores!
Look for asbestos in the ceiling. Run in and run out to avoid any lung issues.
This place needs a bomb or some life brought back into it. Depressing to walk through there.
This used to be a great place. Nothing but a ghost town now. No big stores anymore. Has the only movie theater in LaSalle Peru though.
Sad to see what is happening to malls as stores close and leave. What retail was left was minimal but a good clean place to look around and stay cool.
Nothing left in that place!
Nice little mall with no crowds or lines to wait in when you pay!
Great
I can't believe how many stores aren't in the mall any more. How is this place even open? No major stores except Marshall's. It's sad really.
Soooo sad to see what this mall has become since my younger years.
Every time I show up I'm so excited that there Are so many good stores all put together in the same place and every time you go into one of them then people treat you solid gold I feel like every time I get my paycheck that's were i wanna go to spend it I love the Peru mall
I came here for Bath & Body Works. Which was great, free smells and friendly staff! However, I was shocked to see that this mall is slowly dying. There are a handful of name brand stores, like Victoria Secret, Spencer's, Payless...the rest of the store fronts are empty.
Hardly any stores left in this mall. Haa a great movie theater not much for kids to do
Like the mall to bad a lot of stores have left the area
Wish had more stores. Been going there my whole life. Am glad still has some great stores though.
It's ok
Nice mall. Wish new stores would come in.
Such fair pricing and great staff
its ok but like most malls more empty stores than occupied. just be aware the lot is crumbling and dangerous to drive in.
Very few select shops inside. Mostly empty throughout the week.
Concealed Carry prohibited! It's Christmas Eve and the mall is empty. I don't think it will be here next year. Concealed Carry prohibited so good riddance anyway.
Hate to see the stores all gone thank goodness Marshall is still there.
Well lets see- Not really a fair rating on account its pretty closed down aside like a few places, but yeah that's why I rated it that.
To be fair, I remember the mall being nicer when I was very young. As time went on, more and more stores closed, majors chains are mostly gone and it’s an eye sore. The rent was expensive for those stores anyway. I honestly think they should knock the mall down and put something else. Such a shame. I wish I could have seen it in its glory days.
This mall is on life support. I only went in because of the going out of business sales. Only reason to visit is the movie theater.
Not much in store half missing basically a ghost town
I like this mall. been going there since the 70s.but they got to do something soon the place is almost empty.
There are very few stores still left in this mall. Was not able to find what I needed.
Their parking lot is full of an extreme amount of pot holes. Only a few shops left. They have or already are leaving this mall. The only thing keeping it alive is the movie theater.
A lot of the stores are closed. It's well maintained if a little dead. Went on the weekend and there were barely any people there.
Very impressed for a small-town found what I needed need to make it a little bit bigger would be great. What helped a lot of businesses out and the town out if they had more shops
Sad needs more stores and updated
Most of the stores have left the Mall. There is a really nice JoAnn's Fabrics there
Target is good
Ghost town mall rue21 Vs marshals all good
Where have all the stores gone???
Not very many stores not even really worth going to too be honest!
This mall has lost most of its anchor stores. There are still a fair number of smaller shops, including shoe, clothing, and game stores, and a movie theater which has seen better days.
Nothing here anymore sad
Not many stores left
Saddened by the closings of Peru Malls 2 ANCHOR Stores. The changing habits of American consumers has Devastating effects on so many. Once bubbling and energized establishments nearly devastated to ruin. Americas Shopping Center Skyline forever darkened.
This mall has always been my favorite, other then the Water Tower Place in Chicago. After all of the anchor stores closed, the mall really has gone downhill. But, the stores they have there right now aren’t bad. I think Jo-Anns, Marshalls, and the movie theater are the only stores that are keeping this mall open, though. It’s pretty sad to see how busy this mall was 5 years ago vs. now. I hardly see a lot of people in here. Really hope they get more stores in here though, it’s so sad to see Sears, JCPenney, and Bergners all gone.
This place is deadsville. Sad might as well just close it down.
The building needs some repairs and updating. The mall is lacking stores only a few are left
Very small mall but a small movie theater is it's saving grace.
Sparse, neglected. A few worthwhile stores left: Marshalls, Payless, Joann Fabrics, Bath & Body Works
Good prices
Not worth the trip.
The stores are closing but at off the wall you can get your favorite band tie and get greeted with help and a smile
The mall is barren.
Still a good place to shop, you can find those small interesting gifts.
Dying off. Two different stores were advertised...and were not there. Meager amount of shops open. It does not have what you "need."
So every time I go here, it's kinda sad. There used to be a lot of things here but now its like a ghost town. They have a few clothes shops. The best part of it is Off The Wall, other than that it's too bad they didn't have the business to keep it like it was.
I wish they had more stores, I remember coming here as a kid and it was FULL of stores and people. I usually just wander and don't buy anything because there are so few stores anymore. I LOVE the didoughs though! I'm so glad there is one kinda close
Shopping at Marshalls was great. Just wish there were more stores to shop at.
Everything is pretty much closed down. There are a few decent stores left.
Decent Mall good food court
mall needs more stores. how bout reaching out to some retail stores to at least fill some empty stores
Last time I was here it was empty hardly any good stores open plenty of vacant storefronts though, I think you'd have more fun going anywhere else
Live Marshalls. Wish we had a Homegoods
The music store was perfect. So helpful young man knows his products. Never had to wonder how to find CD I was looking for.
Lots of empty stores but the ones that are there are good.
Sad to see such an empty mall. I remember this mall in its heyday, so seeing it more than half empty is pretty depressing. There are still some great stores there that I hope move close by if the mall fails.
This mall is sad. You can't even call it a mall. Probably less than 20 stores left. Nothing in there that makes me want to shop/visit again.
Unfortunately this mall is a poster child for the fall of the American Mall. Only half of the original stores remain, and many are gone and vacant including some of the anchor tenants. It's sad to see, but I hope that they find a way to encourage more businesses to lease from this mall because it's much nicer, easier, and faster than partroning the nearby strip malls.
AMC is the only thing going for it
I do know that a lot of the stores in the mall have closed. And I have heard from a lot of people that it's becoming like a ghost town in there. Now myself I haven't always enjoyed the mall because it is indoors where you either are able to stay warm or nice and cool as a wonderful movie theater and what stores that are left in there are great. If you want to voice your opinion, I think they should have a suggestion box. They need to find businesses that are geared more towards I don't want to see the younger generation but I do want to say more towards future products because that is what is thriving nowadays. I know this mall can be popular again they just have to look at different generations future products and find the right kind of businesses that are going to stick in there for the long run. But if they don't do it soon it's going to end up just like the South Towne mall that was in Ottawa that now only has late to businesses in it and they're not even stores their actual businesses. Our kids and younger adults need things to do and you as a mall proprietor want their money so give the kids and the younger adults and middle-aged and older adults give them somewhere to spend their money. I would rather drop off my kids at that mall with their friends to walk around the mall and shop because they'll be nice and safe and to be able to shop and get things that they actually want because you know nowadays it's all about oh Mom Dad don't pick out our colors for us just give us some money and we will go buy our own clothes or jewelry or accessories whatnot shoes. Also I didn't agree with furry babies being in there but what I do agree on is pet products or pet clothing because there are people out there that cannot have children or cannot adopt so they choose 2 adopt their own little four-legged child okay and since they can't spoiled a human child they are going to spoil they're little four-legged baby so you need to think clothing accessories whatever else possible, but no live animals. Sorry just some of my suggestions cuz I would love to see that mall saved and not turned into some office space or torn down. If the 1st Street of LaSalle 10 bring up their profits and put new stores in make the buildings look more appealing the products look more appealing than I know the small can be saved.
I remember this place to be so fun as a child. Nothing is there anymore
Sad that there isn't much there anymore...not everyone shops online
Omg there is nothing in there
Be careful of driving in, you might lose a tire or get swallowed up by the grand canyon of potholes coming in/out from several of their parking lot entrances. Engage your 4x4 and do not speed over 2 mph unless you want your suspension/tires to be replaced years sooner than expected. Thanks for your time.
This mall is better than having nothing. It's pretty dead. It needs an anchor store with a following.
I miss FYE Store and the other stores that I remembered when I was a child
Place is on its way out, ashame
Good mall, clean and friendly. Quieter, nice for a family day.
Very very clean. Do go if you can.
It's sad to see the mall going down the way it has. Most of the store fronts are closed for Good. Thay DO have F.Y.i. & off the wall, & the AMC theater... these are all good places to go...& Are probably all that's keeping the mall open.
It's depressing the number of stores no longer there.
The store I went to was fine. Mall overall is getting sad. They'll never be able to replace those "anchor" stores......I feel bad for the merchants who are left.
Not a lot there... Good nail salon, Justice, Claire's, Bath And Body Works...
It's a nice mall, but has numerous empty storefronts, two empty anchors with the third (and last) in the final stages of liquidation. Its days may be numbered.
NOTHING here! Nothing at all! It's a ghost town. All the stores are gone. Nothing much here at all. Currently a waste of space. Went here hoping to find a homecoming dress. Left disappointed and bored. Didn't buy a thing
Oh my, this is becoming the saddest place. There are hardly any businesses left
I hope that someone can somehow revive this mall I love this place but a lot of the major retailers have closed shop, which is disconcerting. Oh how I miss the days of Wards, Sam's, Orange Bowl, and Maid Rite.
Nothing there anymore!
Suxs nothin there.
Dying mall. Nothing there that's worth the drive.
The mall has been a favorite since I was a teenager and that's quite a few years ago. It's getting pretty empty in your main anchor stores are going out of business but it's still a nice place to go especially if you just want to get a walk in and it's raining outside you can walk inside and feel safe. The store across from Marshalls is a really neat little store. It's small but they have a lot of items packed into it especially for your sports lovers.
This mall is slowly dying. I recommend the stores that are still here, but most stores are now closed and there’s just not much left except a Kids play area by where JC Penny’s used to be, the Eyebrow Place that does threading (hair removal), an overpriced AMC movie theater, Payless Shoes Store, The Buckle, Claire’s and a few other staples that have not yet sought higher ground.
Fun, nice place
This mall is a shadow of what it once was. Most of the big name stores have left and it wouldn't be a stretch by any means to say there are more empty store fronts than there are occupied ones. If you want to go to Spencer's or get a pretzel by all means knock yourself out. The theater is okay but I've seen much nicer ones that are not too far away that don't charge more. So all in all don't bother going to this establishment unless a store is having a going away sale.
Not much left.
Hardly any stores
Most of the stores are closed down, but the stores that are open have a variety of shopping opportunity
I drove by it, does that count?
Nice place to walk around
Not too much in the mall. Sad for those that like to go to the shops to shop. Arcade is fun. AMC theater would not give me a refill on my popcorn, even though I had no problem paying for a refill because I was not a member. Made no offer on how to become one either.
Not many stores left but it's the closest place.
No stores, sad...
SADLY SAID; ... There AREN'T Stores remaining worth the `40 minute drive' to shop at Peru Mall. When Bergners & JC Penney closed, it's left most of the county to Shop online or drive 1 1/2 hrs. in `traffic' towards Chicago.
It's a mall that has some nice stores you can shop in lots of parking, good bargains it's worth stopping has some places to grab a quick bite to eat benches to sit on throughout the mall in case you need from all the walking check it out you won't be disappointed.
Wont be returning... I have gone here for over 20 years. My last few visits ended the same. Took my daughter to the play area and the same little boy both times was being very mean. Pushing and hitting. I believe he is family to one of the store owners.
This mall is a little small but does have some pretty nice stores. It wasn’t super busy when we went so that was nice as well.
Great mall best stores nice people good layout great theater
A nice local mall in a small town.. Interesting types if shops that are available here.. The cinema has great popcorn
The mall has fallen on hard times. The movie theater is the reason to go to the mall.
Our mall is a disgrace , all the major department stores have left, there's not to much left
Nice small mall.
Good mall but doesnt have many stores anymore.
There are good stores though there are a lot of abandoned storefronts. Have some food and a movie theater
Need more choice of stores
It's not really much of a mall anymore! There are still some great stores, but not too many. I like to go to Marshalls, that's about it.
I hope they get more business is don't let this place die
Wish this mall would get more stores before the mall closes for good
I was told by the manager that sitting in the mall in the chairs that have the massager is “Loitering”. I was sitting there for about 2 hours and we were asked to leave; I’ve purchased items in the past, and I was just people watching. Not harming anyone. Crazy how a small mall, can overthink customers are up to no good.
The parking lot is full of potholes and ruts. It really needs to be redone. Sadly, this mall has suffered as many small malls have, from death by the internet. There are no longer any anchor stores. There is a limited amount of smaller stores.
Going out of business soon
Very sad... it looks like a ghost town for sure, I am sad for the locals and it looked so nice.... bring the stores back . Came here while passing by on my hiking trips from Chicago city.
It used to be so much better. It still has some good stores.
Sad old mall
I would say they have 30 percent occupied by retail shops and the rest is empty.
It was a hallway between sears and jc Penny... Now those stores are gone so it's just a hallway with a Victoria's secret and a bath and body works.
nothing there anymore to bad
Can't believe the shops that are gone
This place literally has nothing to offer.
The mall is dying a slow, painful death & it's sad. There aren't many stores left & what's left feels like it's always changing. Stores are closing all the time. You can at least find good deals at most of the stores but that's about all that I can say that's positive.
Needs alot of work they should take out the arcade room next to the movie theater and expand the theater over and make it bigger and put the theater ticket booth rite in the middle of the front doors they can move the arcade down to another empty room since they have the space from losing all those stores inside if they keep losing all of their stores then they might as well just turn the whole building into the movie theater and put a huge neon light sign of what movies are playing
They have lost a lot of shops. I'd be surprised if it stays over more than a few more years. But, what they do still have isnt bad.
