Went to Halloween Spirits store and Barrels and Bins. The mall is in the process of getting more businesses in there. The food court especially is getting new businesses.

For starters even as an Adult the security is still tight, you still can't even wear a hat or hoodie (especially in the winter) -Gets to crowded easily -Not enough clean food court so -The Mall isn't fitting the population, there are stores I have seen empty so you may want to look into what businesses you want to bring in for more potential customers or consumers -Do not stare at anyone or anything unless you want it, these people will sell you the world if they could. -Do not sign up for some raffle, game or company that is solicitating the mall, most of the time if you did win you would have to pay them a fee for "winning". -Use the stairs, I personally don't trust the escalator ever since one broke and someone tried to walk down it while it was broke and he didn't see that in the middle the stairs separateed to show the underneath gears and when he kept walking he didn't see those gears so he fell in and was turned into ground beef sadly. So they need to replace the escalator. Very dangerous especially if you exceed the weight limit on it. -Other than all of that, I have been to worse malls like the one in Kankakee, IL. Hope this helps for feedback and the guardrails are pretty safe to just needs a good washing. Thanks for reading my review and have a wonderful day!!

Hardly anything here anymore, handful of nice stores but more than half of the stores are vacant. The only place that attracts most of the crowd is the movie theater. This place was definitely five star's 30 year's ago.

It's sad but Northfield Square Mall is struggling like so many other malls. A lot of shops have left and the food court is gone. A few places remain and I go to a few of them. It really was a nice mall 10 years ago. The local government is attempting to promote the mall with hopes to bring it back to what it was.

I always loved going to this mall when in town. I was on active duty for 20 years and they built it right after I left for basic training. So I only got to see it when home on leave visiting family. Now that I am retired I see a lot of stores have left and it is kind sad. I heard rumors they were looking at tearing down the mall because of loss of too many stores? Does that include the movie theater too? Thanks.

So disappointing. I used to work a part-time job there 10 12 years ago in the place was hopping rocking and rolling. Now it's like a graveyard. my recommendation for this building is to close everything up and turn it into an electric go kart race track! How awesome would that be!!!!

I try to support the mall as much as I can. Many people in the community have ignored this place and have stated how it needs to be demolished, but I disagree. This place has a lot of potential if given the opportunity. The mall has been pretty well ignored for a long time. We do not have much retail wise and repeat mattress stores and resale shops are not going to cut it. Hopefully people can actually invest in this place and turn it into something worthwhile instead of another abandoned building or parking lot. We have enough of those already.

Went to get my ring cleaned at Kay's. That experience was great but this mall sucks. Total ghost town. Horrible for shopping but great for exercise. SMH.

The place has gotten rough. The place feels old and outdated and the lack of stores is sad. I would recommend the Orland Square Mall instead of this one.

Never actually went inside the mall, only the theater. Compared to some other Cinemark and AMC locations, this one is pretty small. The staff was friendly and the theater was relatively clean. It has reclining chairs as well which some Cinemark locations don't offer.

Ate at Kansai restaurant. My very favorite in the area or anywhere!Steak melted in my mouth. Vegetables & rice cooked to perfection. Really enjoy their hibachi cooking. Was disappointed in the show the Chef put on. We've had a lot more fun with the Chefs in the past.

This mall is not what it used to be. I remember there always being hustle and bustle but now it seems just a shell of it former glory. But they do seem to be trying to breathe new life into it. Only time will tell if it folds or flourishes.

It's really a ghost mall at this point. The remaining stores seem to do okay but the mall itself doesn't offer anything spectacular. The movie theater is nice but that really could stand on its own and it would do just as well.

Pretty small only a handful of stores with a lot of open floor space! But we went at night on a firday and it was pretty quiet not a ton of people and made getting through the store pretty fast. But it was surprising to see most stores already closed with the mall still being and hour opened

This place seems quite empty. The shops are sparse, but it's a fun place to visit with friends if you're a teenager because there's always adventure to be found and the strangest sorts of stories come from visiting places like these.

I was here on opening day when I was 13 years old. It was full and packed. It's been downhill ever since. For those who think the mall has a chance of coming back, keep dreaming. Malls are dying everywhere and K3 County is too much of a dump to support anything decent.

Mall management needs to get some business in there instead of sitting in the mall watching kids beauty pageants and talking on their phones in the food court drinking coffee. Sad situation there when there is so much potential. I blame the management for not being proactive working on keeping businesses there ( not just the big ones. That can't be helped, but......) and working on getting new ones in.

This mall is just about dead. It looks like half the stores are closed. There are still a few good stores and it is a decent looking place. They try to do promotions. What they really need is tenants. I would be surprised if they last another year, but I hope they recover.

This mall was built over 25 years ago and remained a nice hub for the Bradley/Bourbonnais/Kankakee area for some time. But for the past 3-5 years, it has gone downhill. One anchor store left (for now) - JcPennys. Few storefronts, one place in the food court, which doesn't see much action anyway.. The movie theater does well, even better since they upgraded the seats. It's a sad building. Ghost Town accurately describes this mall.

A once thriving mall is barely hanging on. The most foot traffic is the movie theater, Victoria Secrets and Bath and Body works. If you want to shop without crowds this us the place to go. Still a great place for mall walkers. Don't come hungry unless you are going to KanSai or one of the restaurants on the outer perimeter of the mall.

It's unfortunate to see all of the stores closing in this mall. Many years ago, it used to be "the cool hangout" but now it's just a glorified strip mall underneath one roof. I do enjoy all the vendors there, though.

I think the shape this mall is in, really tells a story about how things are going in our society. I used to work Loss Prevention in one of the major stores years ago and I can remember how the hallways were packed with people. Now you barely see people there, most are mall walkers. Breaks my heart. So thanks a lot to all the knuckleheads that acted like suck idiots there and kept people from wanting to go to our malls anymore. And for all the ones that got caught stealing and even the ones that didn't, I hope your happy with the way things have turned out. Sorry Northfield Square, I will always have great memories there. Hope that maybe someday this can all turn around.

The Japanese restaurant in this mall is really amazing, it's probably the only thing worth going for. I'm not sure if I would necessarily consider this a mall. It's more like an indoor shopping center. It's really not that big and its not much to do. I went inside the Finish Line location and felt completely racially profiled. There were two employees standing in the frost of the store and neither one greeted me or offered any kind of assistance, which is very strange coming from a shoe store. When another family came in of another race they received everything we didn't. Completely disgraceful.

Sadly about the only thing left in this dying mall is the movie theater, which provides an above average experience with comfortable reclining seats and surprisingly reasonable ticket prices. The service is fast and friendly.

SCARY! This mall looks really pretty inside, but it's a ghost town... there's hardly any stores that have product in them, and only half of those are open. While walking through, it was eerie seeing all bare mannequins behind caged glass, empty blackness behind windows separated by only sheets of creepy plastic. I was almost more startled when I'd pass by a shop that's open for business. It would be cool if we could being this mall back.

This could be a nice mall if the anchor stores weren't going out of business. The closing of the big stores isn't the fault of the mall, but they definitely need to bring in more stores if they want to stay open. One thing they should consider: become an outlet mall. The mall is always clean and I feel safe shopping there, but if they show signs of suffering, people will stop going, so they need to act quickly.

This Mall looks like it was a very nice place to shop. We just moved down here and visited the mall. It was very empty. But then it appeared that some new stores are coming in. They need to encourage other businesses to lease here including the food industry

Almost completely dead mall, most stalls are empty and shuttered, maybe 10 or 15 stores still open. No more major brands, even Sears left. Food court completely devoid of concessions. Only the water features make noise here now, incessantly gurgling out the death knell of American communal consumerism, caused by online retailers.
