This Mall is included in the category of Shopping mall.
What happened? So many stores have closed... No VS, no express...
Grew up going to this mall. Was great when it was an open air mall. It's not the same.
Wow, talk about a place changing and a lack of stores... It is slowly turning into a ghost town and the food selections in the food court has gone way down as well... The bustling shopping and displays that they used to have are gone... With Sears closing down it is not going to be a good thing for the market... They only have two anchor stores now...
This mall is not good anymore and should be closed
Movies coffee shopping n seafood
The food court is bad, there is a huge lack of stores. The stores that are there are not name brand and is what you would expect from a dying mall. You can no longer cross through Sears since that closed. Go to Woodfield, The Glen, Old Orchard.
Organized and clean compared to other locations and better quality & deals than my neighborhood Walmart, which is my usual go to place...and still is. JC Penny has great online deals, too. I've saved so much money! The Golf Mill location has ample & free parking. The staff is friendly & helpful so I don't mind the drive to Niles to shop there.
Nice but small play area for the kids ..
It's a shame that what was once one of the top malls in the Chicagoland area seems to have lost its luster. I walked through there and could help but notice how many stores were closed up and the lack of well known stores. Yes there are still some big name stores but it's a different feel now.
Golf Mill mall would not be at the top of my list for x mas shopping or any shopping for the exception of Target. It is pretty ran down and hardly has any stores left. It's been half empty for a very long time for at least 15 years that I can remember. Anyways if you are hoping to shop somewhere nice then go to Westfield or Northbrook
This place has clearly a huge potential! It is a pity that no investment has been made in attracting local businesses or big brands though incentives... So many stores are empty and available for rent... Now Sears is closing too so it looks more like a ghost town than a mall...
First and last time here. This mall is dead....
Love shopping and my best place is here. Sad we were so close to the Mall. And now we move. But when I have to shop I come here. JC Penney great prices.
Optical department definitely top-notch what two pairs of glasses just as advertised on sale Went back for an adjustment no charge even given better glass eyeglass cases than standard definitely go again
Excellent shopping center. Has about any store you're looking for
Good shopping.
This mall is on the quieter side but the people that work @ this place are super helpful avoid the crowds do your holiday shopping here and support your neighbors :)
It's weathered, can't wait to see what the city and developers can do to demolish and make like sawmill station in Morton grove
Someone add those two starts to the :" Cinema" that was the only place we (6) went & it was great!
Once was a proud place, now amere shell.
Triple AAA office THE PEOPLE WERE NICE.
Needs better stores
WAY BETTER THAN THE HUMAN ZOO CALLED WOODFIELD MALL
Indoor mall at golf and milwaukee. Many shops including jcpenney and more. Easy parking. Never really crowded and there is a bus pick up and drop off area by jcpenney. Highly recommend for fast and easy shopping.
Good finds and cashier was nice enough
All it is is a bus stop, there are no stores left to shop at all. 19 different stores have closed since Sears closed.
For many many years I've always enjoyed shopping at Golf Mill Shopping Center. The layout is perfect, easy to get to as many different types of stores. You will enjoy shopping at Golf Mill.
Didn't find what I wanted, the layout is Abit wonky. But overall good choices
Rest in peace to this mall. Someone needs to buy it and restore it or tear it down for a few great businesses.
Place is going downhill nothing like it use to be. A lot of empty stores
Lucy in Jewelry is the absolute BEST!!! She is the only reason I continue to drive out to Niles and shop at JCPenney.
Big indoor place with different kind of stores, I love it.
Good if you want a quite mall. There’s an excellent grocery store with fresh produce in the same plaza and a great movie theater.
It was a great experience for me because all what I wanted was in just one place
Nice place. Good stores.
This is like home to me. I lived in that area for almost 23 years. Golf Mill used to be the best Mall to shop for my kids when they were young. It is a great place to shop for holidays; especially, when you have young kids
Restaurant only, the rest is like a ghost town- as previous review. -- Like previous review: if not censored by Google or my GPS is still reporting after being turned off?
Good mall. Everything What u need. Love fresh fruits from mexican market
Like most malls in smaller towns it's losing tenants.
I grew up going here. The place is well maintained.
Great place, with a lot of stores and options. But I cannot give it a 5 star review because the do not have everything that a spot like that should have. They simply should have more than they do.
Kohls, JCPenny, Target, AMC, Sears all in one place makes very comfortable to shop here most importantly for the huge car parking space easily available even in weekends. Be sure to save the car location in google maps else it will be so difficult to locate your since it has multiple entree points ALL AROUND THE MALL!
I work here, it a pleasant place , I liked shopping here so I got a job working here
Convenient and easy access shopping
Free wifi. And bus accessible. If you don't drive then don't go there after 7pm.
It's so sad in here...I grew up at this mall lol. Still a lot of great stores but sadly a lot of empty ones, too.
Small mall, but it has different types of business
Was great until Sears left
Nice.
it's very sad. Many of my favorite stores have closed. Now Sears is leaving. I wish something could be done to save this mall. The food court is sad. Not many selections. It is always clean. Kohl's, Target, JCPenney and Bath & Body Works are still there
sad that all the stores are leaving and whats left isn't worth the trip anymore. This mall either needs to revamp or close down
Great Golf Mill shopping center
A fun indoor mall. The original mall office building and mall property has been around since, well, the sixties. I love Target, Ulta, the food shopping and of course the movie theaters.
I visited JC Penny and found exactly what I went to find a jacket for my husband and a beautiful dress for myself the cashier gave us a very warm and comfortable feeling he was very polite the pricing was excellent the items we bought were on sale without a coupon I highly recommend this store.
Its a dyind mall and many of the stores are vacant.
I really like going to the Golf Mill Shopping Center. We have been shopping here for over 20 years, and I appreciate that this Center has tried to keep itself reinvented and up-to-date. Well it seems sad that some of the rental areas are vacant, I think that Golf Mill has done a good job of attracting excellent brand name vendors including Kohl's. Parking is very easy to find, and it is very easy to get in and out of the shopping mall from not only Milwaukee, Golf Road, but also Greenwood.
A typical mall with the stores you'd expect to find there. Good mix of chain stores and independently owned shops. It looks as if they have trouble keeping their retail spaces fully leased, yet the anchor stores provide stability.
This place is dead. Empty store after empty store and the few shops they have left are terrible. Best to avoid it.
Kool..found some deals...
Not the same as it was years ago. Sears is gone so you have to head outside the mall to go to other stores which is too much of a hassle. I notice that there are fewer people going here now. Its like everytime we go here, a store is closing and you'll see a lot of empty spaces.
Shadow of its former self, this mall is a sad example of whats happening to most malls
Very nice place. People very helpful.
Can never get enough of Golf Mill Shopping I'm there every day and I tried not to stop and Ross everyday haha. That's why I take my connecting bus home. But Ross being so close is not really that good for my wallet. I must be controlled I must be contained when it comes to that store.
The best place to shop all what's you need.
Good selection of stores. Hoping this place gets moving again now that new stores are entering it!
Highly competent and courteous associates, and the store itself has a variety of frames. Splendid experience!
o oNE Stop shop" My Fav " STORE ROSS
Big mall, lots of stores & more than enough parking.
This place used to be a great place to shop for anything you needed. Now it's just sad and depressing. If you listen closely you can hear the faint crying of children in the streets. I guess it's part of the charm, but it just wasn't for me.
Woowww such big shopping mall, but sure if you enter just like that definitely it prompts you to shop 100$ at least. I think if you spend at least 10$ in each and every shop it will become nearly 2000$.. that many stores in that mall..
Great place to shop.
Very good services.
Why is this place even open? The only thing worth going here for is the movie theater. Most of the stores are shut down, and the mall itself is very out dated. The bathrooms by the food court were beyond disgusting. The floors were extremely sticky in the food court, it makes me think there is nobody cleaning this place. Absolutely no reason to ever go back, stay away.
It's a nice mall for the most part, just wish they would keep the doors to some stores like khols, target, Ross open on the inside of the mall after it closes so we didn't have to drive around and go outside and come back in through their main entrances.
They have a lot of good stores
Tbh, this place has mostly the boring shops, this mall is dying and has not many stores. Nor does it have the better ones. It might close down.
Golf mill is my go to place. AMC theatre, fresh vegetable market, past times comic book store, and love J.C. Pennies.
Penny's is always good.
You really can't call this place a mall. So much is shut down and there isn't much to do. I happened to find a good Korean restaurant. But if you are looking to do major shopping, look elsewhere. I would recommend a local strip retail center over this "mall"
Good selection of stores at good prices
It's a good little shopping center
the worst mall ever
Mall is decent for what it is. It is a little older and a little smaller property and slowly turning into a ghost Mall but by no means there yet. Mall has several well-known anchor stores that are open and most of the other stores are open as well, but I gradually see more of the smaller stores closing. Mall itself isn't bad, indoor corridors and maintained, very clean and clean restrooms. Polite staff and a decent selection of stores. Ample parking and also a connection stop for Pace Bus Service to and from the city, cta rail/transit, as well as suburbs. Decent dining options in and near the mall. No real complaints.
I go to JcPenney Salon Love my stylist
A bit old and run down and many shops have shut down. Still has a Target and Ross though.
It’s like any other mall but it’s pretty big there is a card shop that is really nice. There are a lot of different stores and some around the mall as well like a grocery store.
Great atmosphere... lots of family friendly things to do
Everything looks as its rundown. Stores closing in area.
The mall has some good places such as Target, Kohls, JcPenny. I don’t really go there that much other than to maybe get an iced coffee from Gloria Jeans
Could have better and more high end stores
Great place to see a movie
You may find most of the shopping stuff here including furniture
The staff were rude imigrants.
Best to see movies in Des Plaines
Great place to shop
Great mall. Nicely laid out. Mall walking for exercise is a bonus. Great mall management.
Something really needs to be done with this place. The closing of Sears has cut the mall into two separate halves, and the food court is down to four or five eateries ever since Ulta3 took over half of the area. The place isn't dead yet, but a movie theater and a Target won't keep it from ending up that way.
Decent size mall though a lot of stores in the mall are closing shop. Recently remodeled the food court. Looks nice, can grab a bite to eat when you get hungry shopping around here for more useless stuff you don't need.
The mall we hung in 60's
Mall looks a lot better than it use to look.To bad there are so many empty stores. Very pleasant.
Loved it. Got some really nice things. Just have to take ur time to look
I really like this mall. Sad to see stores and restaurants leave. I understand. Online has killed mall shopping, but this place is nostalgic.
Unfortunately, this is a dying mall. JC Penney, ROSS, and random vendors fill the space between empty storefronts outdated brands. Old Orchard has killed this place, and maybe someone should take the hint. Just shut it down already.
Its sad how much this has gone down hill. I'm sad that all the stores are leaving and whats left isn't worth the trip anymore. This mall either needs to revamp or close down. Best of luck
Love this place but so many stores are closed
Unless you’re going to one of the big stores, don’t bother.
Great place to shop. I do miss Sears though! One end has JCPenney, Ross and the other end has Kohl's and Target. With smaller stores and a theater in the middle.
The place is starting to look very depressing
Clean and neat. Only thing for some reason they put a wall in the middle of one end blocking access to the rest of mall, you must go back then exit mall and then reenter. Silly to me but must be reason
Quick stop looking for something @ GNC. No luck. Golf Mill is pretty easy in & out if you know the layout. Like many malls, Golf Mill has been in decline the past 15 years. Sears is gone, JCPenney is hanging on (thankfully). Target, Kohls and Chicago standards in furniture and household specialty stores, jewelry & women's clothing are prominent. I am ultra trim/tall build and rely on Penneys for Euro-cut suits without breaking bank...think that is all over with. The selection is thin and Penneys tailoring staff is all but non-existent anymore. Parking all around Golf Mill is great, lots of Mall entrances, handicapped access ramps, public restrooms. Come with walking shoes on though, mileage adds up here. Still a good stop.
Going downhill fast. Just like many malls around the US
Great store, good quality merchandise, please visit, use it, let's keep it open for good.
Has so many great store and is just an amazing place. Most stores also have great staff. I go here all the time.
What a shame was a great place to shop at one time.
5 stars to the fact that this place is like a high school cafeteria for old folks
Great mall. If your kids get bored just go to the play area! The service is good, workers & employees are nice, and not just your typical food court.
I’m always able to find what I’m looking for at Ross I love that store
Nothing here except a few anchors and a movie theater
It was ok. Lines were pretty long but it moved pretty quickly and I was out of their pretty quick.
The small was easy to get to and the parking was very easy. I’d like that I was able to park both from Milwaukee Avenue and from Greenwood. The food choices were excellent, and I’m glad that I was able to pick up everything that I needed on this particular shopping trip
This place is dying ... I see the crowds getting thinner with every visit
Not much left. And the food court is lacking
This once-great mall has fallen victim to online shopping, but holds great potential for a shopping / dining / entertainment mecca. Live and film entertainment, music, restaurants and both questions shops combined with a hotel and even apartments could make Golf Mill a destination once more. Niles could follow in the footsteps of Niles, Ohio (Eastwood Mall) and throw in a little of "The Glen" (Glenview IL), to breathe new life into Golf Mill.
A big shopping mall with many brand and network stores presented.
Only decent store there is Target
Plenty of parking. Never crowded. Affordable prices. Good location.
Too bad Sears is closing. Good location for Proactiv kiosk. There used to be one at Old Orchard Mall
We had an awesome time here. Love the place!
I made the trek up here from Calumet City thinking that they have more going on here, WHEEEW, GOOD THING GAS IS CHEAP. NILES IS LOOKING LIKE CALUMET CITY THESE DAYS.
Been shopping here since 1963 and it's a nice place to visit!
Get your haircut there for $6. Pretty sweet
love theace indoors and nice to jogs and walk
Large mall .many stores closed but someday soon stores will come back. Internet stores have hurt the brick and mortar stores
Love the large selection
The stores that are left still open are ok,, just hope more stores eventually open inside the mall
Great stores
Lovecthis store and great sale prices.
Great place to do some shopping. Not to big but a lot of stores. Target, Kohl's, Sears and plenty of other stores.
