This Mall is classified in the category of Shopping mall.
Like most malls, the buisnesses are leaving. Disappionting. The mall is very clean.
Big, great place for shopping, but a lot of stores are sadly closing down.
It's a nice place, but a lot of the shops have closed and there are a lot of empty areas in the mall now.
It's an okay place to visit but nothing special
Not much foot traffic, which is nice for a mall.
Nothing left to draw attention to shop there.
Not much there anymore
I cant believe how empty the mall is. So many vacant stores.
Empty every single time I go. Lots of stores, clean but it's graveyard.
Lots of closed stores. But, the stores that are left are nice.
Really nice mall. Could use more stores though. Earthbound is an awesome store and the smoothie place in the food court area is great. I got strawberry peach and it was one of the best smoothies I’ve had.
Eastland Mall was once pretty awesome and full. Now it is a dying place due to Amazon and big chains pulling out. Someday it will be great again. Look at College Hills mall.
It's a nice place, but sadly it's becoming less and less intriguing. Sad to see it slowly go down
The anchor stores are folding. Heard this week that Sears is liquidating. It's a great place to do laps in the winter. A gym is coming, so that will help increase foot traffic.
Getting space with stores but still some good clothing ones.
More like a goast town than a mall. Most shops are shuttered.
Nice place.
Ok mall. A lot of places have closed but the major places like ulta, bath and body, Aeropostale, American eagle, etc are still there.
Planet Fitness & Ulta (they carry the Jeffree Star Morphe cosmetics brushes now too!)....my two favorite places to go @ Eastland Mall!!
This mall has went down in recent years. Only 3 food options and no real big stores. The stores they do have is alright though.
I'm wondering why this place is even still open. Everything is leaving it. The food court is just sad.
We went to outback steak house and it was awesome they got my steak right the first time so i could eat with my husband not after he did. And it was our 20 year anniversary and the waitress was fantastic she made our night. The food is delicious the staff is polite and courteous. We called ahead and when we got there we went right to our table and was setted the only thing i wish they had would have been fried pickles.
I LOVE ARCHER A LOT
Not much left of the mall
I've been to better malls
I really like the stores there and is always kept up nice and clean.
L loved it I went to Footlocker to get a certain kind of sneaker cuz I had surgery on my foot and they had exactly what I needed and they were even on sale the salesman was very kind and very helpful I got exactly what I needed haven't been to the mall in like 3 years wow has it changed
Excellent customer service!!
was once a great place to shop, hang out or eat at! but now is a small ghost town most if not all have closed their doors!
Good stores
Wish there were more stores.
A good place to shopping even if u like stores like old navy and jcpennys
This mall is very nice, but I was surprised to see so many stores closed, including Penny’s. There are still many stores to shop, and the whole place seems clean and well kept. We will be back, I’m hopeful there will still be businesses to return to.
While here heard softball game got rained out.
Was ok. A lot of empty space, only shopped at Kohl's
Going downhill fast
Interesting selection of stores. Love the Fannie Mae!
Nice mall. Nothing much more.
It's a terrible mall.
This is an empty mall. Outback steakhouse is there, and even it seems to have suffered slightly in quality since it moved....only rate it 3.5 stars.
All the anchor stores are gone.
Going downhill. Too bad. Hope they are able to turn it around but they've lost allot of stores
Ok mall not many stores and it is dieing down
Nice mall, plenty of stores. Lack of food court. Only two to choose from.
Don't have any thing there anymore very sad place to go every thing is totally gone that's Totally why nothing worth going for. Everything is Online now which is why Places are going down hill some of people don't care for this I like to Shop nothing to do with Online.
Almost a shadow of what it use to be, eastland mall is still chugging along. As with many of the malls around the country, this one has also had many stores close leaving the mall much quieter than it use to be. What stores still remain are definitely worth checking out. Eastland mall still has a few unique stores with things I've not seen in other places. Clothes, shoes, and jewelry...yup they've got plenty of that to.
Found a warm winter coat at Kohl's
Mall looks nice, too bad stores are leaving the mall. Malls seem to be dying out.
Not alot of store still there. But We still enjoy going there.
This mall is boring. They have lost all the big department stores and are struggling to bring in new ones. You can shop the entire place in about an hour.
Several places closed but still have some great stuff
The stores are sparse. Sears is there, and so is Kohl's. Still, the anchor store Bergners is shutting down. I enjoyed the video game arcade, though it was small. Overall, it's in transition now.
subpar arcade, adequate game stop, unique goth shop, and average coffee are all available in one place. there is also a kids area to keep them entertained. not many maps posted so it is easy to get lost or turned around if you are not a regular that walks through the mall for your afternoon stroll. if anyone else misses Wacky Fun Time (see picture) and wants to start a protest or a petition, let me know, I'm down.
This mall could have a lot of potential but unfortunately it needs a lot of help. The few stores here aren’t bad but there definitely isn’t much to choose from. I mainly just stick with Kohl’s. A mild renovation would probably help attract more people but I don’t really see that happening. Overall it’s good if you need something quick and don’t want to drive out of town.
This place is Hugh. To bad a lot of places are closed
Love the mall, but sad it is losing some great businesses!
Not a lot of stuff left here. We also went to Justice to get some swimsuits, left with nothing. Nobody greeted us there, and there were no “bigger” sizes. We went to Aeropostale also, which it was pretty nice in there, but could have been better. Really hope this mall gets some more stores, it’s pretty sad. I was there when I was younger, and it was very busy and had a lot of stores. But, now, there’s not a lot of stores left and I really hope this mall makes it.
Huge mall multiple options(stores) definitely bigger the any mall in Chicago unfortunately I was looking for the airmax 90 curry and all they shoes stores never heard of them and they was just released. Came home and went to ford city and had them in minutes.. Great experience tho
It is wonderful when you can't find something you want or need go to Eastland mall one of their stores more than likely have what you're looking for
Pretty much a dead/dying mall. Its half empty and I wouldn't be surprised if it completely closed down in the few years
Christmas time, the mall was busy so that was nice.
So sad to see so many stores closed...glad that Gloria Jean's is still open, LOVE it! And this Bath and Body Works has the most helpful and friendly staff , worth the drive. There are some other stores still open, only 1 restaurant left in the food court.
Good place to go but there is a small amount of stores but good to go
Was not impressed by the shoe Depot. The staff did not greet us or ask us if we needed help right away.
It now echos from past shoppets
This mall is on the downward slide most storefronts are empty. What is there is nice though several options including rue21 Kohl's Spencer's h&m Aeropostale old Navy Justice journeys Gloria jeans coffee American eagle Ulta beauty and Victoria secrets.
Another dying mall.
The Only choice in Bloomington. There are few brands left. Yet well maintained and crowded on weekends. Good for quick shopping trips.
Its going down hill and they do not have the store to bring people there
Place is like a ghost town . Sorry but truth .
They have everything over here. At least seems like it.
Decent as malls go, but very few food choices. Many food court restaurants have closed.
Losing stores but nice setting. Will miss Bergners & miss Macys.
Lots of empty stores fronts was expecting a little more. And the food court gets a 1 star.
This mall is nothing like a top tier mall, but I suppose comparing a smaller mall in the Midwest to a Simon mall isn’t fair. I’ve been to some pretty rough malls before, and this one is certainly better than those. It doesn’t have quite as much empty real estate as other malls and seems to have retained some amount of traffic over the years. All in all, it’s about what you’d expect from a midwestern mall. If they have a store you like, it’s probably going to be exactly within your expectations. Nothing to write home about, but also not bad.
Decent shopping spot for sure!
GREAT FOOD COURT
Sorry to see this once vibrant mall end up with so many stores closing. Not much of a point of going there anymore.
Pretty quiet with a nice overall atmosphere with all the stores that they have there.
They need to have more stores to shop in and they need more varities of food.
Just was out shopping at Eastland Mall loved it went to Kohls, American Eagle, Victoria secret wish more people would go sn stop shopping on line because we need this mall to stay here
Decent amount of shops, but also lots of empty spaces.
4 star not 5 because I noticed alot of stores were leaving but hopefully they will return.
Love it♡
Sears Macy's and Bergner's have left or are leaving. Used to be the place to shop and hang out but the mall has driven the rent up so high on the stores that they have to compensate by raising the prices of the merchandise. The malls going to have to change or everybody's going to buy stuff online that won't have any customers left. Adapt or Eastland Mall will be closed within a couple of years
No. Just don't.
Going down with the loss of stores
A once great establishment now only holds a few good stores. It is a dying mall, just as the mall industry is dying with it. Great if you need something on the spot, though.
Sad to see this mall in decline. Hard for find clothes for work, seems to cater mostly to teenagers now. Really miss Macy's, Penney's and Bergner's.
This is a decent mall really. I enjoy walking around it. Usually its not so packed you're overwhelmed. Pretty good food court and some interesting stores. Nice bathrooms. I really like FYE, Earthbound, the shoe store options... the picture is just something I always laugh about. It's the bathroom near the food court and the arms are amusingly tiny. I think of it as "aliens with capes" or "aliens without capes."
This is a nice, well kept mall. It is small and not too many stores to choose from, but this is just about the only shopping center around. It is nice just to walk and hang out for a bit though
Nice mall, not over crowded, clean and safe mall. Nice arcade for people of all ages and most stores reasonably priced! Will go back!
Quite a few stores closed. Only two eateries open in food court. Still enough good stores for a draw.
No interesting stores to shop in but old navy
I grew at Eastland Mall. Having a second "fun" job while also setting at a cubical by day kept me sane and taught me about customer service. I enjoy shopping here and I hope to be able to do so forever. I am excited to see what the future holds for our Eastland Mall.
Beautiful mall. So many different stores
Drove from Peoria for a change of scenery...half the mall is vacant
Still alive, plenty of places to shop
There is a lot of change going on in the variety of stores but I'm really happy about H&M and Planet Fitness being added
Great place to shop
Not a lot of stores left here, it's good if you want a place to get some walking laps in. They don't allow kids under 18 without an adult at times to prevent the mall rats from loitering. Only 2-3 places left in food court. Great steak and potato and some oriental food.
Still a few great shops left in the mall. We get to Kohl's more than most. Lately it seems like quality is taking a hit, particularly with shoes. So we may move our shoe shopping elsewhere, but it's still a great store for basic clothing needs. Customer service does a decent job too. I miss the days when quality was better and Shoppes in the mall were more interesting. I miss small pet/fish shops, and book sellers, and other niche/specialty places to find things. I'd love to see them get a science based shop...where nerds can go to geek out. It's tough to find lots of reasons, other than clothes, to get to Eastland Mall.
Nice kohl’s but other than that there really is nothing in the mall.
Definitely not what it used to be... :(
An awesome mall with nice stores, employees, & places to hang out. Miss the stores that left & are leaving. Want Sears to stay! :(
Clean and Neat Mall.
Bring the food court bk to life. Plz
Went to 2 game places. Kids loved it
Sad - it's slowly dying. Like the houseplant you just can't bear to throw away but it's lost all of it's leaves and not pretty to look at. This mall is in the same condition. Many stores have left and not much shopping to do. Paper covers many of the store windows and they are caged shut. Seems like the remaining stores all have going out business signs hanging above their entrance.
There is nothing left in this mall. Most stores have closed, and the food court is nonexistent. Malls are a thing of the past ....
Seems pretty empty
Except for Old Navy and Kohl's nowhere else I want to shop there
Good place to roam around and shop for things.
Sad to see this place go after all these years. Not many stores left
Still has Kohl's as an anchor & others, even H&M, Ulta, but it's going through hard times. Sad
It's a decent mall, I just wish there were more stores.
Went there my first time and I loved it some stores were very cheap and some are really expensive but I give it five stars nice workers and sweet workers
Good place for shopping and exercise
I work at shoe Dept. Encore and hope the mall doesn't die
Like all malls now it has lost alot
Really like shopping at Kohl's but there isn't much left to the mall itself
Very nice and modern stores extremely clean
Hardly any stores and seemingly no effort to rectify it
Not a lot left there everything is going out of business :-(
Sadly this place is deserted. It's a very sad sight to see. Thanks Amazon. Not... only place to shop in this once bustling mall is Kohl's.
Nice mall with a decent selection of stores to shop at.
This place has lost a lot of huge retailers, but it seems to be taking action to prevent closure. Currently remodeling what used to be a JC Penny and other projects like that. The "food court" only has 1 remaining restaurant in it, which I don't really prefer anyways. But the 2 little pretzel joints in other parts of the building are always available and delicious. It's a place to kill time, and it's nostalgic, at least for me, even though it's not even close to what it used to be 10 years ago.
Not many places to shop but did find some bargains today at Kohls. I want to continue to shop here so we can keep the ones we have and hopefully get some new ones. Towns/cities don't do well without retail.
Not much left. 2 restaurants in the Food Court!
Eastland Mall is pretty cool. They have kind of the same stores that we have at Stratford Mall. It is a nice big mall.
Great little area for shopping and groceries
I like this mall ... Nice people works here .. looks clean good to go shop n eat some cookies ... Drinks ... Great stores
Over half the stores are closed and ones that aren't closed are way over priced. More walkers than anything.
It’s nice but I expected more
Clean, plenty of parking including handicapped parking, security present making shoppers feel safe.
It was ok just seems to be dieing a little
Its okay not a bad place. Its small with not alot of varieties of stores
Excellent hometown mall... the only option really if you want alot of choices at once.
nice clean mall but half the stores are closed. we go walking there
There's is a few stores left. Definitely isn't what it used to be.
The kay jewelers is great. The sales staff was very nice and not pushy.
Not much reason to go
Very clean and the have massage chairs
Sad to see so many empty stores.
Not many stores. Very sad that malls are a dying breed.
Only anchor store left is Kohls. Bergners, JC Penny, Sears gone. It is a dying mall.
It's like watching someone you used to be close with slowly slip away. You knew it was coming, but it still hurts. Thank you for your time. "You can rest now" -Pepper Potts
This mall is dieing fast
A lot of the stores are going out of business which is great because of all of the sales but as they slowly one by one actually leave the mall it's becoming very dry and mundane there. The stores that are still going strong aren't bad, most of them seem to have the same inventory every time you stop in. Last time I went I saw they are turning one of the spaces from an old store into archery tag and orb soccer among a few other things. So there's still some hope.
Still a decent mall. Notice the whole mall trend in general isn't what it used to be. I still enjoy taking my kiddos and/or family or even myself there to browse and shop!
Went there my first time and I loved it some stores were very cheap and some are really expensive but I give it five stars nice workers and sweet workers. Best time to find your requirements.. easy to access from main road.
It's alright. I just go for the coffee tho.
Definitely not much there. All the anchor stores have closed except Kohl's. Lots of empty stores.
Never over crowded, great food court, great new stores being built even now.
I ran into Kohl's. They are still humming along and realistically, they are the last of the big stores.
Great place to shop!
Nice an clean
Alot of the shops closed but we did find what we needed
