This mall is so-so, they have one food vendor that lasts less than a year each time a new one comes in, one department store and as many empty stores as open ones. They paid for a nice renovation, I hope it was worth while and they can get some new stores in here.

Easy parking. Sadly, there aren't many stores left. But it does have a small Pennys, Carson's, 2 discount stores for shoes, and Joann fabrics (enter from parking lot only).. No snack shop anymore. But it is more relaxing than Champaign mall.

Nice for walking. Have baseball card shows, comic cons and flee markets. The mall itself is weak with to many vacant storefronts. Online shopping has hurt malls everywhere.

Its a bit bittersweet as this place was THE social center when I was a teenager and now there are so many vacant spots here. Still JC Penny's and Rue 21 are reasons to visit, as well as GNC.

Plenty of open space for kids to run around. Empty mall with just a few stores. Has so much potential to do better. The Forever 21 is small and not like a average Forever 21. Lacks a lot of clothing.

Love the "Old School" dependable stores like JC Penny and Carson Pierre Scott. Could really be a nice mall if someone invested in heavily and used the right marketing tactics. Unfortunately as is, unless you're a local you wouldn't even know it was there because it sits so far back off the road. The traffic light and entrance road are so confusing and just an accident waiting to happen to anyone especially someone who isn't familiar with the area. The whole building is outdated to the point it damn near looks like it's abandoned. If not for knowing it is open and that regardless of feeling like you're in an episode of "Back to the Future" (original movie where Doc and Marty first go to the mall parking lot) yep, folks I call it like I see it. Lol

It used to be like a real mall, full of all kinds of department stores, but over the years as businesses that had been mainstays either moved out to house themselves in their own standalone building, or went out of business, or for whatever other reason, spaces that were once reasonably bustling were reduced to sad, dark, shuttered shells over their former selves. Now, however, there has been a beginning spark of rejuvenation to this sad place as a new semi-national restaurant has been opened. If this restaurant is a success, there might be hope that one day the mall will return to its former bustling glory, where every space is again occupied with a department store or even a brave mom and pop style startup outlet looking to serve the area with pride.

Being born and raised in the area, this use to be the place to go for your shopping needs before Wal-Mart went to supercenters. The stores in the mall were great and teens spent weekend nights there with friends. In the recent past, it seems all the stores only stay a short time and there are a lot of empty spaces. I wish they would fill those spaces again and make it the place to be! From what I've heard a few days ago, the new owners are trying to do just that. I hope they do. I'd love to have more options to shop there instead of Wal-Mart!

Not your average mall. Only like 4 or 5 stores I it - Including a Rural King. Most of the corridor is filled with tables and a stage as though they regularly hold some kinda meeting there. Cool place though. Got free shoes from Rue 21 so I really can't complain

I used to live in Sullivan about 13 1/2 years ago and would go to this mall periodically. Boy has it changed! I went to J.C. Penney to get a watch battery put in and the whole mall seemed very dead. Most of the stores I remember being there are long gone. On-line shopping strikes again

I visited JCPenney's. I return shoes that I bought at the Springfield JCPenney's. The Mattoon employees were very helpful. I got my shoes returned and I spent time looking around the store. They have clothing and household items. Then I bought another pair of sandals, socks Etc.

The mall is maintained, but it is quite small compared to the average mall and doesn't have a wide variety of stores. Many of the shops have closed. Occasionally there are flea markets where you can find some unique items. Overall, it's an okay mall aside from the limited variety of stores.
