I love this place! We stayed at the Marriot just down the road and this was the perfect place to have within walking distance. All of the shops were beautiful and good quality - some I recognized as major chains and others that seemed to be local. But all was wonderful! There are plenty of places to eat (check out Hula and Ono Gelato!!), try on clothes and swim suits and souvenirs (go to the ABC store for salted toffee chocolate covered macadamia nuts!!). Also, this place has a great playground for kids! Apparently the locals call it the Pringle Playground because that’s what it looks like it’s made out of. My toddler called it the tower. All around, a great place for the family to walk and spend a day or evening! Also, they apparently have movie nights. I wish I’d been able to check it out.

It was a twice a day visit for us as it was up the beach from our Hotel. Good shops great restaurants and right on the beach! a beautiful walking path takes you up and down the whole beach with this little dining and shopping haven right in the middle. Really became a part of our trip.

I mean, it's a shopping center, but the stores are fun and different, with local artists' merchandise. Gelato-- yum. They have a fun area for kids and showed an outdoor movie on Thursday night. Parking validation gets you 3 hours for free. Can access the beach too.

This is a wonderful little outdoor mall with some fantastic restaurants. The food is excellent at Leilani's and Hula Grill. Our favorite dish was the Hula Grill raw tuna taco appetizer. There is also an ABC Store, a climbing structure for kids and nightly music and Hula dancers!

Mall itself is beautiful and well kept but their information attendant was extremely rude and unhelpful. Before I can finish the words "excuse me", he dismissed me by saying "I'm busy!". Never looked up. This was March 15th at 11:45. I hope management can set higher standards for their personnel at their information booth as they do for the rest of the mall.

Nice little shopping area. Parking garage is 3$ for every 30 min. If you spend 15$ they will validate for 3 hrs. Worth it if you buy something but if you don’t you pay a lot for parking. 4 stars is for cost of parking.

There are no whaling ships here, no whales and no whalers. But the shopping is fantastic, there is more than enough parking, food, all sorts of Hawaiian 'needful things', shirts & more shirts, watches, jewelry, everything. Close to the ocean as well, very clean, bathrooms and beautiful buildings. Everywhere we went, the people were kind. Need to get something for that hard to shop for person on the mainland, this is your place.

An upper class open-air mall right between two resorts and just off the beach. They have everything from Louis Vuitton to an ABC store. They have many good options as well. If you're in need of anything while staying at the surrounding resorts, you're likely to find it at Whalers Village. Highly recommended.

This is a very large shopping center. It's the place to go if you have money to burn. There are lots of places to eat and many great retail shops. Do not miss the beautiful view. I really enjoy visiting this place. I found a very nice hat here and had a wonderful dinner here with my husband. If you visit, don't miss the sunset view. You will not be disappointed.

A beautiful upscale mall with a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Accessible from the Ka'annapali Beach walkway and Ka'annapali Boulevard. In addition to many upscale stores it also has a very practical ABC Store and a Honolulu Cookie Store with free samples.

A large mall with a variety of different shops (higher end shops). We were under the impression that there would be a whalers museum, but we couldn’t find it. Kaanapali Beach is right there with some restaurants. If you’re into shopping, this is for you!

Cute little shopping center. You will get nice restaurants of wide range. Yogurt and smoothies shops are also there . High end shopping brands are there. You can get shirts, shorts , flip-flops , bikinis etc here . So if you have forgotten beach essentials, get it here. It's situated across the ocean front and easy find.

Prime location for the mall with a mixture of luxury brands, gift shops, and restaurants. The parking is free with validation, otherwise it is pretty steep - recommend you get your parking validated. Just like a lot of places in Hawaii, the bathroom is pretty small for such a big mall. You can really enjoy a nice sunset from the beach or from one of the restaurants.

It's a mall with typical, though fairly upscale stores combined with tourist shops. Monkey pod Restaurant is worth a stop for good food and one of their famous Mai Tai's.

What a beautiful setting for a retail outlet. Very clean, and full of very good stores. High end to low end retail. Restaurants are awesome and the grounds are kept very nice. We walked through every evening after dinner. You have to visit Whaler’s Village off one of the top 3 beaches in Maui.

Great area to spend part of your day on Maui. There are many small shops, eateries, and restaurants. Walk along the boardwalk between the large resorts, shop and eat. On the beach there are many activities you can purchase such as a jet boat, para sailing and jet skiing.

Mall was fine lots of shops and variety. We drove off without counting our change and the parking garage ticket taker had short changed $5 from us. Would recommend using a credit card. Left a poor taste in our mouths we won't be returning.

A beautiful village area in Maui. We spent quite a bit of time here during our holiday. The shopping is excellent with lots of variety in the stores. There are also beautiful restaurants along the beach front. Something for most tastes. We caught the trolley here to and from our accommodation. We also walked to here which was very pleasant.

Cute little outdoor shopping mall in Kaanapali. Honolulu cookie company and Crazy shirts are two of my favorite stores in Hawaii. Ate at Vintage Island coffee. The jumbo shrimp salad and garlic shrimp rice bowl are both yummy. The use of local rice from Hawaii makes it a more sustainable choice. The coffee is excellent. They also sell Hawaiian honey and small gifts. Whalers Village also some higher end stores including Louis vuitton, Lily Pulitzer, Rolex, and Tommy Bahama. The Hula Grill AND Monkeypod were also busy.

Great mall with many high end shops and restaurants, local and non local shops including Louis Vuitton, Merriman's Monkeypod, Leilani's and a fresh pressed juice shop named Choice Health Bar which serves acai bowls, juices, smoothies & grain bowls. Yum!

This place is a must go to if you're visiting. You actually get to see the skeleton of a pretty big whale. At least big to me. Also got a scrimshaw kit there. Still haven't used it but still nice to know I can. Lots of history on whaling and really cool examples of how talented some of the sailors where in art. Often there wasn't much more to do though (no internet) so I guess it was easy to find time to practice.

This is an awesome little shopping area with restaurants and small eateries. There is free 3 hr. parking if you make a purchase from one of the stores and get a parking sticker from them. They also have a small play area to keep your kiddos occupied for a few minutes while you shop at the Rolex, Louis Vuitton or other unique stores that demands your attention.

Last time I was here I don't remember it being so polished. They added some play spaces for kids (they're small but who cares), and a place to sit. It has every store you can imagine in Hawaii. We bought a couple shirts, shorts, and grabbed some fresh fruit and drink from the ABC. We ate and watched the kids climb on the play structures. It burned about 2 hours.

Whalers Village is situated on the north west side of Muai. I really enjoyed my time here. Lots of shops and places to enjoy. We found a great place right on the beach to eat, have drinks and enjoy live music. Staff was friendly and service was good.

Nice area to shop if you like shopping. WV is also a good beach and a bunch of bars if you don't like shopping. It can get very crowded and the parking is limited and expensive. If you are eating at a restaurant or shopping at a store make sure and ask if they validate parking. I was able to get a free 4 hours of parking by just having a quick bite of food.
