This Mall is included in the category of Shopping mall.
Not that many stores but I was surprised how many cool items they had. The whole foods is really good they have a lot of good food. Especially for the organic non genetically modified type food eater tie hipster or health eater. Several eateries are there. Also shoe stores with sweet airmaxes and other sneakers there were quite a few. I walked there from Diamondhead it was a great walk beautiful scenic views coming over the crest of the hill and the view the ocean, then down into the mall. There tons of beautiful scenes on that part of the island and several mango trees nearby dropping mangoes fresh and juicy. As I said there were not a huge amount of stores bit there is quality and practicality with a Ross store right there they have everything from earbuds to clothes to sunglasses which you need in Hawaii. So if you get the chance stop on by there is plenty to eat and look at and you can usually find really cheap prices at Ross. If you read all this your e crazy just trying to fulfill long review req. Haha
THE most confusing mall I have ever been in or around. Huge need for adequate signage and maps at or close to the entrances!
Not bad, parkings ok, selection decent. Strip mall style,
clean and good spot to shop around
Rented a condo and stocked it for the week at Whole Foods and Starbucks - great food shopping trip!
Nice small mall for the neighborhood, with more shops opening soon.
It’s an older mall that needs some renovation... it location is great!
There's a Whole Foods store at the mall what else do i have to say. Kidding lots of shops to browse and nice little food court. parking can be a bit hard to come by but it's not impossible.
very laid back. cool breeze when sitting outside on tables on the whole foods side.
Too cute places for customers to sit near the coffee and food courts. also not enough restroom locations
If you like shopping Kahala Mall has a lot to offer. I'm not a big shopping fan and wanted to get in and out, but I found the layout of the mall difficult to navigate. They have an awesome Whole Foods Market!! They have a bunch of really large department stores a ton of restaurants. The major drawbacks were that the maps of the mall were NOT helpful.
Honey, try not to spill your cranberry juice on the pretty carpet
One of the best places to chill after school.
Kahala Mall is a good place for shopping or dining. It's enclosed and air conditioned with variety of shops for variety of interests.
Small shopping mall, I would call it quaint, but in it's age its getting a little run down. The atmosphere is rather nice although when its not crowded. Parking can be a problem especially during weekends, and when there's a event at the mall.
Chicken shoyu ramen at Gomatei and a movie.
Enjoyed the Emergency Preparedness Fair. Good people with helpful information! Thank you!
Old people Asian spot.
Nice mall, enclosed with great ac. It's great for a go to (need a present) mall. Great food places.
I am not a fan of this mall as when I was on vacation on the Island in 2014, Mall security accused me of picture taking their cameras at the mall and I was taking pics of my vacation. There was no rules posted of it and they treated me like a criminal. I went to Whole Foods and they had followed me and walked me off the property and treated me like a criminal. I wrote a complaint when that happened. I hope that staff isn't there anymore.
Indoor mall with air conditioning very welcoming
Attended the 1st annual "Eat the street " event at Kahala Mall yesterday. It was good, however, I didn't think organizers expected such a huge crowd. Food trucks ran out of food.
Visited Kuru Kuru Sushi. A fun place to see and pick sushi off conveyor belt. Learned best to order a bowl of food and then add sushi as opposed to eating only sushi off the conveyor belt.
Crowded and expensive, this place is loaded with high-end chichi stores and one restroom be that you have to traverse a maze to get to. There's is a good coffee shop upstairs that made a nice iced espresso and you can always bail to the beach. Fun people watching but you're better off buying souvenirs at Long's Drugs.
Nice working area.
Very relaxing and peaceful mall.
clean mall on the good side of town with decent folks
This is a nice little mall on the outskirts of Honolulu. I think it's one of the bigger ones I've been too. The stores here are more for the ladies though since they have alot of boutiques
Great place to shop around
It's a smaller mall, but nice. Has a Macy's at on end and a movie theater at the other. There are a few places to eat, and a Whole Foods. It's a pleasant shopping experience. Sometimes, during busy times, parking can be difficult.
Clean, airconditioned, well lit indoor mall. Has a $Bucks, Apple, Macy's, Whole Foods, Longs, See's and other stores (with a UPS Store right across the street) but I miss the departed former Barnes and Noble and Radio Shack. Now you have to go to Ala Moana and navigate it's multi-levels with messy access for the only local Barnes and Noble which means I rarely/hardly ever go. Meanwhile I shop Kahala weekly.
Very relaxing and peaceful mall. Always a pleasureable experience. Clean and well maintained. Occasionally the parking lot can turn into a zoo, but always plenty of parking.
The food is always good here. Sign up for their rewards program and you can usually get free chips and salsa. Service is usually good, sometimes slow when they're busy but servers are usually really attentive. Will definitely be back.
Its a great place to get your stuff if you live up on the hill and don't have a car to get down. There is a bus that runs up and down the hill so you don't have to worry about transportation. The only thing I recommend is getting to know the bus driver that drives the bus. He helps you out a lot and is also a sweet fella. Don't be a stranger and enjoy Kahala Mall!
Great place for kids and families. Unlike Ala Moana, has lots of small shops with local designers and some great food. Whole foods is also there and a great movie theatre that often plays the less "big screen" and more artistic films. Very enjoyable place to spend a day.
I love this little mall. It gives off a close community vibe. Relaxed shopping experience, really great, fresh food at Aloha Salads and Grylt. Movie Theaters. Macys. Longs. Nice for strolling through the occasional art exhibit. Enjoy a meal center court while listening to a featured live music act. Lots of great little stores and boutiques!

Great selection, parking is tough!

Nice indoor local mall with great shopping available. All the necessities like a drug store and also has a Whole Foods as well. Spacious, lots of good food and convenient. Lots of parking.
Too cute places for customers to sit near the coffee and food courts. also not enough restroom locations
Not as grand or theatrical as Ala Moana, but a friendly smaller mall. Everything you need, none of the craziness of Ala Moana

Mid size mall, great stores and eating places

Great mall with a good mix of big box and locally owned stores. A lot of good places to eat, gives this mall a slight advantage in my mind for an overall great shopping experience.
It’s good shopping center close to the airport
Parking was hard to find, but that's the norm here. This mall has a lot of delicious eateries and tourist shops. Despite all of the tourists, they don't get in the way when you're walking.

Grew up going to kahala mall. And it always been a wonderful place
If you want a great experience but smaller, them ala moana, witch is great too, then this is the mall for you.
Great place; you know its haunted, yeah? Guarans, brah, the place get one history (but that's one noddah tale). Kinda upscale in the old school local tradition; when they replace da carpets, it's with the same design, that kinda old school.
All the essentials here. Got my phone accessories here by friendly staff at tricked out. Kids got some yummy candy and wife had fun looking through shops
Great place to shop
Went to Chile for lunch. Was good
I love the breakfast bar. So good!
A great mall anchored by Macy's, CVS, Consolidated Theaters and California Pizza Kitchen. There's a Starbucks, Jamba Juice, and many other trendy shops providing a wide variety of merchandice. As with the Ala Moana Shopping Center it is visited by many tourists staying at near by Waikiki hotels and the Kahala Resort!
Has lots of boutique shops. Good for gifts, has plenty of parking, and lots of different restaurants to choose from. Easy vibe no stress kind of place.
I love Kahala Mall everything is conveniently located in an Indoor Air conditioned Mall.
Have been to Hawaii a few times but never here. Good mall, smaller but quite cool. Nice if you want to get away from the crowded shops and go another pace. Has a Chili's near by for a great feed if you are hungry.
Went to longs and sees candy. Both very satisfying.
Kahala Mall, WOW!!! This place has changed over time. Very nice indoor mall, busy like always but nothing like Ala Moana Center.
Kahala mall is a combo of neighborhood with some tourist visitors. It is not the size of ala moana center so there is Macy's as the only large store with the rest of the retailer's in the medium to small stores. It is a enclosed mall as compared to Ala moana which is only a covered mall. Even though it is not as large it has a lot to offer for just about everyone. The one thing it has always lacked was a pet store in my opinion. As to food choices it is not as good as the big malls so the selection is limited. Overall it is a good place to stroll around and relax while shopping.
We ate at California Pizza Kitchen today, sat at the bar eating, and watching the food come out of the open kitchen. I must say, the food coming out looked even better than the pictures on the menu❣ So many great eateries, and cool shops at the Kahala Mall❣...And even a theater!!
Small & Quaint shopping mall but big variety of things to find.
This place is awesome and I go here nearly every weekend. Awesome and safe place to hang out. It’s nice to go here and play card games at the coffee shops.
There is a movie theater here that I go to often. I also go for the Starbucks, Panda Express, Taco Bell, Chillis, and California Pizza Kitchen. There is a Gamestop, Cookie Corner, places where you can buy presents for kids, and clothes for yourself.
I like this mall, it is big enough for good selection but small enough to get around pretty fast. It's indoor so nice and airconditioned. Has a movie theater and some good restaurants.
Nothing special about this mall. If you're looking to escape Waikiki for a bit and need an air conditioned place, then the Kahala mall will do.
I love this place. Nice little location
Good mall. More locally owned shops
One of many indoor malls here.
LensCrafters fixed glasses gratis; bought takeout at Grylt
If you like malls it's a very nice one.
If I have to go to a mall I really prefer this one. It always seems peaceful even when it's crowded and there's a good mix of places to eat and places to shop. And there's a movie theater. The shops are a bit more upscale than a lot of other malls but they have some great deals, especially when there's a sidewalk sale.
Cozy quite fancy place to do some quick shopping.
So many great places to shop! Relaxed atmosphere
Will always be kahala mall
Indoor mid to up-scale shopping mall. Whole food & Apple store are here. Sometimes have music performance. Personally I hope there is better eateries. Mall provided wooden chairs & dining tables very comfortable. Safe for kids.

All the essentials here. Got my phone accessories here by friendly staff at tricked out. Kids got some yummy candy and wife had fun looking through shops
Great place to shop
Super helpful when we couldn’t find an item. They found another store that had it in stock. Even gave us detailed directions. Thank you!
Went to Chile for lunch. Was good
I love the breakfast bar. So good!
Good food, movies, shopping, parking.

I love it ! I drive all the way from aiea to go here. I especially love whole food store ! Just the bathroom downstairs is far !

Wonderful Mall in a quiet neighborhood lots of fantastic food quite a bit of parking they could use more FREE electric Car chargers though. Let's face it everyone should be driving electric cars gas is just a waste of our resources
There are two shops we frequently visited here. - Sanryo Shop - Whole food market We really enjoyed going to the Whole Food Market as they had a wide array of organic food and they also sell make your own wraps. Their medicine section also carries many organic medicines that are not found in other places. Parking is a little difficult. Need to wait at least 5 to find an opening spot.
One of many indoor malls here.

The food places are spread out and parking sucks. Just like everywhere else. It’s a nice and small mall to go to though. The availability of bathrooms and their location sucks! Lol
If you like malls it's a very nice one.

It's a good mall, spent a lot of time here.
Went to dentist the mall is great
Such a cute underground mall! Very cool and relaxing place with classic Hawaiian and family stores. Movie theatre as well for a chill get away. Has things for locals and tourists. Great Starbucks!
They got everything you need there. I think the food is little more pricey than some of the other malls. The place is well kept always clean. And of course there is a Starbucks and a Jamba Juice. My 18 year old daughter loves to shop at the clothing stores and Apple store is there for all of your computer needs. More than enough parking even when it is very busy and parking this free. Public bathroom is available and it to is nice and clean.
Nice small manageable indoor mall with theaters & plenty of places to eat.
The mall is a wide, open area. It looks neat inside and the rooms are huge. Disappointing how there's only one hallway bathroom though.
Great mall! Tons of stores and food!
Nice local shopping mall
Cute little mall. Wished it had more stores such as Hollister, Sephora, Zara, etc. But they have Wholefoods, Banana Republic, SOHA, Tinker Toys, T&C.
Nice mall, not too crowded, with great a/c in this humid weather
Small, but I love it. They even have a theater that plays independent films, which I enjoyed a lot.
Kinda small. Whole foods store is great.
Always great options of food from The Counter to Whole Food!
Impossible Burger and Service is Great
Love this enclosed mall ...it is small and large at the same time without losing its high end charm... Catering to all....
I love it there! They have a theater, food, shopping center, and much more! I would recommend it if you love to go to malls!
Just right!
Awesome. There's air conditioning and stores and restrooms. The music is a little irritating but that's alright
We spent a delightful afternoon here after discovering this shopping center as one of the stops, whilst we were on the Trolley. It's a smaller center, less crowded, with a good variety of stores. We had lunch in a very nice cafe, bought groceries from a great wholefoods grocery store and mooched around having a good look through each store. We spend a great deal of time in Macy's, this would be my favorite Macy's on the island. Well worth a looksee
the new renovation where the old bowling alley used to be looks great
I hate malls... but I kind of like this one
Simple yet satisfying.
Saw avengers end game. Loved it
Great mall with Whole Foods, Apple and many other great stores and restaurants. Parking is usually an issue.
We went to Jamba juice and ordered a chocolate haupia drink In the drink found shards of plastic Got a refund on the drink but be careful
Kahala mall is a classy indoor mall with a comfortable feel. And free parking! You can spend a few hours there and have lunch to!
Smaller shopping mall but air conditioned and enclosed so great during mid summer
Had to pick up a few things before going to Vegas for vacation. Got everything I needed.
Good and friendly staff and great movie
Not a big mall but I love it here has everything I need
One of my favorite malls on a Oahu

the new renovation where the old bowling alley used to be looks great
Great variety of stores and food options. Pricing is comparable. Lots of free parking.
It's a different feel from the bigger shopping malls, very quant
I hate malls... but I kind of like this one
Cozy neighborhood shopping with cinema restaurants and drive thru Starbucks is the best
Simple yet satisfying.
Saw avengers end game. Loved it

This place has changed of the years but it's still one of my favorite places to shop.
The shopping itself is kinda old and small, besides that the parking space is adequate and the stores and prices not so bad. Eating is very limited but the available options are good, only really come here for the movie theater when I do.
Lack of parking not driving customers to shop. Miniature parking areas just as bad. Don’t bother.
Lots be kahala mall, went there with mom! And went there to watch my nephews kids have fun at the fun factory!
Lots be kahala mall, went there with mom! And went there to watch my nephews kids have fun at the fun factory! Great lunch we all had after too. Thanks choose Taco Bell, them? Panda Express
Rating highly because all the variety of decent shopping and restaurants. I like to stay away from this area as it gets packed. There's parking structures. If malls are your thing, this place won't leave you wanting for much.
Had a lot of fun walking around all the stores.
Lots of good food places as well as a variety of clothing shops and there is lots of parking :)
Great place for seniors to shop at
Air conditioned, a lot of nice and useful stores, clean restrooms. Outdoor there are several parking decks and usually you'll be able to find a free space. Works for most of the required daily things
Great place to eat, shop or both.
It's one of the most peaceful malls, here
Love Kahala Theater with foreign and independent films. The Green Book, The Favorite, other gems Academy Award nominated were here first. Friendly helpful staff. Big hot dogs, and real relish not those little packets. Love the soda refill machines. Hint: get children's combo & add hot dogs.
It's been years since I went to Kahala Mall. I am impressed there is a second level parking between Long's Drugs and the Bank of Hawaii.
Love it handsome shoppers
We have good food here and Whole foods are good for my family also.
May not be state of the art yet, Kahala Theater was pleasant.
Easy parking upstairs, and enough shopping for quick trips to whole foods, and some fast local food.
Clean, air conditioned... Starbuck coffee for early walkers
A mall. Nothing else to say. One good point, it is near the Institute for Astronomy.
I love this mall!
Drinks sumdays can b very light weight food is always fantastic
Aloha, loved that burger.
Nice mall, has most stores you'd need. Bathrooms are very small for such large crowds.
Very homely vibe not to big but it get the job done. Lots of restaurants and some clothing stores to help round out the mall. They also have performances that go on!!!
Yeah so nice and rich there. I FEEL LIKE A KARDASHIAN.
Lots of shops and decent food court.
Nice cosy mall. The whole foods market is a must visit. Big range and great for take outs
No, I did not. I went there many years ago and waithelp had "attitude" so never went back. I shun all Chili's since. If one can't train their employees well, I feel that they all don't and will never go to any Chili's.
Very relaxing mall with a great family vibe. Good selection of shops and restaurant's.
Wholefoods, Starbucks, jamba juice , apple store + many more shops under one roof. Amazing.
Changed a lot over the years. Has a really good variety.
Lack of parking not driving customers to shop. Miniature parking areas just as bad. Don’t bother.
Lots be kahala mall, went there with mom! And went there to watch my nephews kids have fun at the fun factory!

Worth going just for the whole foods. Otherwise there are much better malls in the city
Rating highly because all the variety of decent shopping and restaurants. I like to stay away from this area as it gets packed. There's parking structures. If malls are your thing, this place won't leave you wanting for much.
Had a lot of fun walking around all the stores.
Lots of shops and places to eat.
Its kind of exspensive, is to be expected for the area. But the mall itself is gorgeous and spacious. Trees and waterfalls everywhere and a great place to take the kids if you need to get some shopping done.
It's a nice change from Maui's empty malls.
Lens Crafters was great! Friendly, helpful staff. They could improve on the quality of their eye glass frames. Most were pretty cheaply made. Other than that, I highly recommend them.
