REVIEWS OF International Market Place IN Hawaii

Scott Moore

Neat place to visit. You can see Don Hos treehouse and some history about it right in the mall. Pretty cool!!

Kimberly Ferrer

Miss the old international market, but enjoyed my visit.

Todd Okamoto

Super fancy now. Unfortunately, nowhere to get fake ID's like 25 years ago. Oh well. New stores are nice.

Jose Lugo

A Visual treat. Beautiful high end mall. Third level has excellent places to eat.

January Serda

I remember when this truly was an international market with tons of little stands full of various items sold by local folks grinding to make a living. Now this place is a huge luxury shopping mall full of high end retail shops. I'm so blown away with how different it is. The beautiful banyan tree is still there which was great to see.

Leon Smith

Visited Herringbone for happy hour and left pretty damn happy. Good venue. Great small plates.

Tania Kelley

They have a hula show every evening. Great shops with friendly clerks. A sight seeing stop too.

Greg Butto

A large Shopping Centre situated just off the main road, it is a relatively new complex but built of a historic shopping site. There are huge old trees from the original Shopping Centre which have been retained. There are many high class shopping brands situated within the centre. An interesting place to visit, it had public toilets and nice places to sit under and around the trees.

cmtosh

Beautiful place, somewhat high-end stores but still reasonable. Great place to walk around and just have a seat in the shade and feel the breeze.

Derrian Bolds

Pretty nice place, its like a medium size shopping mall. I think when it gets close to the evening time they do some traditional Hawaiian thing. I really look like the lay out of this place though. It has relaxing chairs to sit down with plug in cords to charge your phone and stuff.

DR Hunter

This is definitely must visit place, right in the middle of everything!

Jeff Wong

Caters to high end unlike original marketplace

Michael Corbett

Quite a different place than decades ago... has been upscaled to say the least! Whole area more like NYC's 5th Avenue.

Dalya Barsamian

Great shops and love the trees. Doesn’t make you feel like you’re in a mall.

Blue Hawaii

I enjoyed the wellness bar variety of menu items. I tried the smoothies and the Acai bowls, all fresh and very healthy.

barbara yoshimura

This is a very relaxing out door shopping center with a variety of shops. Theres a lot of seating to rest and relax. Lots of places to eat from the food court to the full resturants and the 3rd floor. Theres a nightly hula show at 6:30 at Queens court which is in about the middle of the mall, if your visiting its worth checking out then shop the stores in the area.

Dave Schle

Not bad shopping. Stores in all price ranges. Food court. Also, a little alleyway across the street in back with specialty shops. I found a 6X Hawaiian shirt for a large friend there . (Didn't even know they made them that size.) The International Market is right right on the beach.

Stephanie Tanaka Chang

Beautiful mall to walk and shop. The banyan tree and the information about the tree and the area was nice. Mitsuwa is upstairs as well as many restaurants above and a good court on the first floor.

Karl Tobias

Has changed big time! Very modern.lacks the flavor of the old market place. A bunch of high end stores for rich tourists, the food court was interesting , but not alot of table space.

Lydia Pinon

Beautiful Marketplace. Most places charge a service fee in this plaza, though, so make sure you ask. Most shops are very upfront about it and sometimes include it as tip when applicable.

Faalupega Pou

I go here to eat at MoDo, the Mochi Donut place then walk across to eat at the Udon place across from the International Market.

earnest royal

Great little place to go. Plenty shopping stores, very clean, easy to locate store your looking for. Facilities were clean and smelled decient.

Barbara Yoshimura

It's a beautiful shopping center with lots of places to sit and relax. They have a lot of food options on the 3rd or 1st floor. Its beautifully landscaped and their parking garage has nice large parking stalls which is rare in Waikiki. They have a great polynesian show twice a day I believe it's at 1pm and 6:30 pm daily on the 1st. Level.

Brenda Hall

Light shopping available, good court with local favorite restaurants. Very helpful people at stores and restaurants. Can be easily reached on Waikiki via walking or Pink Line Trolley, $2

Dana Lutton

Really cool place, so many stores

Alex Perez

Tons of great stores and a beautiful view. If you want to get some shopping done between the waves and the forest exploration this is the place to do it. Most of the shops are very high end, so there isn't a lot that is super affordable.

T. Turner

Singing and hula dancing was fantastic... Shops here are high-end and beautiful. Great time!

H. Ng

Located in the heart of Waikiki, this beautiful and impressive shopping centre/mall is a nice replacement to the old International market. It's so much bigger than I had imagined it when it was just a market along with the old Miramar hotel. I was totally blown away by how structurally beautiful this building was. I was in awe to see the old Banyan tree still there as promised by the developers/builders. With so many varieties of popular stores as well as the many great restaurants at the roof top, this new International market will be one of Waikiki's very popular landmarks for years to come.

Savage_Gaming466

The lines were very long, but if you had the patience to get through them, you were rewarded with great food, stores, and green spaces

Amanda Reed

It was amazing!! Hawaii has been great all the west around and things was a very high end shopping plaza, I would compare it to Santana row in San Jose California. Full of coach, louie Vuitton, Tesla, alot of expensive strikes! But none tree lines the expense is great!

ShieldCrete Australia

Seems ok. Herringbone is good for a feed and drinks

Rob Hopcroft

Lovely shopping precinct, great tree house in the middle.

Herb Mason

Plenty of stores and food. Nice breeze blows through it.

John Modzelewski

Beautiful shopping area with lots of dining and shopping options. If you are going to be spending time and shopping in Waikiki, you really have no reason not to visit the international market place. I had dinner at 2 places here, and I had no disappointments whatsoever. So easy to access from local hotels (and with the right parking). So visit!

William Gene

Modern mall with many shops and restaurants. Do miss the old atmosphere of the old market place though.

Lester Jenson

Well, what can I say. It is a clean and stylish up-scale high-end mall with a number of shops designed to impress you (the main entrance even sports a full-on Telsla dealership showroom no less). For those of us who grew up here when the original IMP occupied this same space - a place we could come in from a morning on the waves and grab a quick tasty lunch from the many choices in the affordable food court (affordable for LOCALs, not just the gilded pursed tourists) - today's IMP is in name only. - To me it would have been better if they just did as is now taking place with the old historic King's Village - they completely tore it down and will replace it with a new modern structure (a 31 story Condo thank you - much better than some small little fleeting memory of Hawaiian culture.... sarcasm people, sarcasm). That's exactly what happened here with the IMP except they retained the name for marketing reasons. Really?? If you are going to blatantly gut something at least give it the dignity of a respectful burial and bury they name with it before your charge foward in your quest to worship the almighty $$$. - So what was the question? How do I feel about the new "IMP"? The new edifice needed a different name.

RVF 360

Very nice and clean. There is a show almost every day after 4pm in the center of the Maket Place. I don't recomend the restaurants here. No good quality and could be expensive .... I prefer to go to a different area to eat better good.

Don Olsen

Don Ho s ols hangout..lol very sweet n place..

Mike G

I miss the old IMP but I love how they redid it. Not for the light wallets. Tesla dealerships and Marc Jacob's and all that.

413 girl Lisa Maree

Beautiful outdoor shopping mall but most stores are $$$$$$$$$ Needs local original stores not overpriced rediculous designer stores

Gary Whitcutt

It’s really been totally fixed up. Nice job!

A 22

Love this place. Stores have a variety of high end stores as well as more affordable ones. Food court at the second building is also great.

Cindy Torrez

I came here specifically to buy a Harley Davidson shirt. I collect them from all over the place and the backs of the shirts usually have the city & state printed on 'em. There is a HD store in this location, so I drove in to the pkng garage. Gave car to valet. When I came back & stopped at the pay station w pkng ticket stub to pay, before retrieving my car, the total amount due was $11.00!!!! For a whopping 39 MINUTES!!!!! 39 FRIGGIN MINUTES!! Unbelievable! Anyhow, I was glad that I at least had the foresight to ask the woman at the HD store if they validated. THEY DID! So that saved me $5.00. BUT.... just the sheer greediness of the pkng garage ruined that place for me. It was pretty inside & the guy working the info booth was super helpful & knew exactly where the HD store was, but..... $11.00... 39 MINUTES!! You can decide for yourself, but you've been warned.

Petra Bunchka

At first I was disappointed they tore down the old Marketplace. But, they left the tree. The shops are great. Food court is really great. Look for the $2 beers (Kiran draft) very good, and the $4 margaritas are great!

Sasha Ivashkevich

The place is really big. There is a variety of shops. Most of it was food. There was a variety of it from ramen to donuts to tacos. There were three floors with each a lot of things. We went there twice once to Shorefyre and another time to MoDo. Both times were great. This place is great to go around shopping as there are a lot of clothing stores. As the stores go kind of in a circle around an escalator, strategically, it is easy to get around. I would love to spend time here.

FRANKYG

I like the new mall. It's notable how they tried to preserve the Banyon tree. There's also an small entertainment center where they do cultural performances. I do miss the previous Market. The traditional Hawaiian and Polynesian items and food being sold, all in one place.

Evelyn Yasuda

The food at Kalu was magnificent n everything was just great. I would recommend it to everyone.

Hosi Kapadia

Great location. The food was excellent. Definitely recommend.

Jason Tsubaki

Great place for foodies, diverse selection of dining experience. Everyone should find a menu that's to their liking.

Leo Sanchez

Very dissapointed ! Visited 15 years earlier it was a wonderful place with Hawaiian culture all around , now it's been remodeled and is just a Mall like so many other Malls !!! Don't waste your time it's just like any Mall in any city.

Rian Clinton

Love this little mall. They have a wide selection of stores and they have a little place for kids to play. In addition the restrooms are nice and plentiful. If you are a tourist don't take for granted a restroom in Hawaii.

Courtney Hamilton

One of the most beautiful malls I have ever seen and one of the best food courts around. This mall is a treasure here, with wonderful stores, both high end and average; as well as wonderful cultural events throughout the year. Parking is also easy which is nice.

Noemi

Great place to go shopping. A lot of high end stores. Taxes are cheap too!!! Clean place always well kept...

Eileen Poitras

Too pricey for me.but nice to wander thru

Andy McNeill

One of our favorite shopping spots. The outdoor areas were great for the kids and they shops had something for everyone. We enjoyed the food market and the best was the statue of Don Ho. Brought memories back from way back when. Tiny Bubbles!

Kim G

Beautiful place to visit and relax ❣️

Jadelyn Fernandez

It's a beautiful mall, but I use to come here when they use to have vendors and little shops! I really looked forward to visiting here when we took our trip back home and was disappointed when I found out it was another mall. But it's very clean and a nice place to walk around!

scott stanley

Really cool stores. Some very expensive some more affordable. Put together nicely. Needs more places to sit down

Tony S

The International Market Place is amazing! What's not to like about it? It's very beautiful inside. There's a great selection of stores to shop at. There's a Magnolia's on the second floor. If you've never had a Halo Halo, I highly recommend that you try it out!

S smith

We live nearby and therefore love this mall. Outdoors, but mostly covered. The food court is pretty good with many options and most shops do excellent military discounts (up to 50%). There is also a water pad in the center of the mall for the kids where they do the nightly culture ceremony.

Chris Bentley

Not like the old International Market at all. If you want high end shops this is definitely for you, if you remember the old International Market then you will be disappointed. The only original thing keft is the Banyan Tree. In this case progress isn't.

trl1971

I missed the old International Market Place. Most of the shops are higher end and the Hawaiian feel isn’t there.

Cynthia Scott

Everytime in Oahu, my husband and I have to make several stops to this fun marketplace! Everything you need, or more like want, is most likely here. We must stop and visit Don Ho's statue every time (Don Ho is in all our photo albums

PAC Phone

I also share in the disappointment that so many other reviewers have expressed. You can still find local souvenirs and other goods at the flea market at Aloha Stadium. AFAIK, the flea market is still there. (I haven't been there for about five years. ) The flea market doesn't have the same charm that the Marketplace used to but it's still nice.

Dan Wilding

Clean comfortable place. Lots of shops and restaurants. This is once of my favorite places along Waikiki.

Jamie Browning

VERY GOOD FOOD HERE, recommend $2 Tacos and $4 Margaritas before 5pm, parking is a rip off check the terms of validated parking.

S&P500

New mall. Live music. Maintained soul of the old International Bazaar. They literally built around the majestic trees that surrounded the old bazaar. Very clean. Would definitely bring the family here again. We rented our car from here. Instead of renting a car for 3-4?days like we did in the past we just rented the car from 9 am to 9pm. You basically save the crazy overnight parking fees of around 40 bucks per night.

Mark Ichijo

Typical high-end mall. Lots of stores but only a few interested me. Beautiful architecture, and the indoor/outdoor design is really cool. Apparently this replaced an actual swap-meet style international market. I was disappointed because that's what I was expecting, according to my Aunt who'd been to the original place years ago. The night before, my brother and I walked to this place from the Air BnB we stayed at. Went to Gamestop since it was open later than normal, and didn't realize this was the same place that my Aunt was talking about. All in all, not bad but, I have no interest in all the high-end clothing stores like Saks 5th Avenue, Nieman Marcus, Dulce and Gabbana or Gucci, etc. Not my scene at all. The Japanese market was cool though.

Mitch Baker

What a beautiful job they did on this entire space. It used to be a collection of dirty and dingy souvenir stands and now it is a five star shopping experience

CArlos Hernandez

It's just another mainland mall. The original as much better and more local. Very wrong products. People don't really shop there. No Hawaiian flavor.

Viren Abelak

Very nice shopping plaza. Mall like. Love the Banyan tree at the center. They have a Japanese supermarket.

Jose Flores

Stopped by for a snack and some beers had a great time. Nice scene.

Ronnie Stephen

Amazing place.to shop with High end stores, restaurants. But what is even Better. Is the hula ceremony they perform every day around 6:30 PM. It's a must do!

Benjamin Thomas

Must stop while on vacation. Very high end stores but alot to see and super beautiful. Has a free hula show at night.

lance wong

Originally gave three stars and they wanted to know what they can do to make it five. I'm changing my rating to give because maybe I wasn't fair. International Market Place has upgraded themselves many times over. It is a stellar example of an open air center, as compared to modern enclosed shopping areas. Coming to Hawaii is our climate. Not some enclosed air conditioned building. It is this same reason for the original rating of three stars. I wanted to see Hawaiian stuff. Yeah the tourist trap thing. Tiki, hula, lush tropical stuff. No Shave Ice, Tutus in muumuu, beachboys, locals spreading aloha spirit. Place should smell of flowers, not perfume, exotic air fresheners and coconut soap. I hardly saw any Hawaii stuff. Even the fountains didn't say Hawaii. It said civilization. Granted it was better than walking on Kalakaua. More better Stay in California and walk Rodeo Drive. The Center itself is a beautiful show case of what a shopping area can be. I can't suggest any improvements. I will give a 5+ to this place. Even better than Ala Moana. It just was a disappointment to not see Hawaii.

Danisha Bowers

Amazing place with a great variety of stores. Must visit when in Hawaii

Dino Richardson

The food was delicious but they could not seat our party of nine on the lanai despite our advance reservatioms and a nearly empty restaurant.

funkydog31

Much the same as all the other places. Would like to see more independent small traders with market stalls like it used to be. Too commercial now.

Kimberlae Williams

Great location for change of Trolley Lines.

Pavel Gnatyuk

Amazing Shoping Mall. I didn't see anything similar nether in Miami, New York, Los Angeles or Las Vegas... Its feel like you walking through park or small forest... but beside trees a lot of top brands around you.

Jordan Lacandazo

Beautiful atmosphere, plenty of foliage. Good selection of stores and bars. Some of the bars have live music some nights too. Good selection of restaurants. Try the magnolia ice cream!

Kathy Anderson

I love it here! Lots of different food choices and wonderful shops to shop at. Nice and cool, lots of variety and very pretty since it's been remodeled! One stop shopping, check it out. PS really yummy pizza in the food court! Aloha

Arash Salamati

Great shopping center with some nice designer stores. Great food options and really well designed interior for taking some photos

Sarah Glynn

Wondered into this place while exploring Waikiki area. Its an upscale shopping area thats fun to walk through and people watch. If you make it up tot the roof there are several great restaurants with nice 'rooftop deck' atmosphere and good food. If you make it down one e d to the street there is a neat 'inside food market' restaurant. You can walk up to a different stand and get a huge variety of good food ranging from Mexican, to ramen, to pizza, or sushi all with a little Hawaiian flare.

Jin Chang

Nice and modern but it's void of any Hawaiiana.

Keiko Segimoto

This outdoor mall has a nice vibe at night. I loved all of the lights and decor! There is a nice row of rocking chairs for people to rest at that overlooks trees and a courtyard. Spending $10 to get parking validation really helps to save $$$!

googly bear

This is light years ahead of what it used to be but I kinda miss the old ghetto carts where you could still wrangle a bargain. It's trendy restaurants on all floors--I think there is three. They said the Tesla store was gone but it's still there. There is a small food court with a bar on the first floor while the bigger restaurants are on the third floor. There's lots of parking in their lot which you can get into from the Kuhio Avenue side. The prices are a little higher because it's Waikiki but they're tolerable. It's brand new and clean and nice to shop and eat in. Oh yeah, there's stores to shop in.

Mattie H

Love this place. You can shop, eat and best of all they validated your parking if you make purchase 1st hour free, 2nd & 3rd hr. $2 eah hour. Great way to spend time in Waikiki without paying a fortune for parking.

Benjamin Orlowski

Beautiful outdoor mall with many high end shops. Great free Wifi. Amazing location. Several fantastic restaurants. Just a really great place to hang out and enjoy shopping or people watching in Waikiki. I love how they were able to save the old trees and incorporate them into the design as a main feature. Come see some Teslas!

guy domett

Possibly the best shopping centre in Honolulu. Make sure that you go to the Food Hall as this is good value and a bit different. Lots of good vegetarian choices as well.

Enrique H.

Beautiful shops and good food! Gets mad packed in the food court!

tennis 56

Surprisingly beautiful new shopping center with a decent selection. It would have been nice to find more boutiques and specialty shops but the offerings overall were well worth the trip

Crystal Firestone

Great indoor/outdoor mall. Nice variety of stores, mostly high end brands but they threw in a really cool Japanese market upstairs and a street food court downstairs. But by far the best part is the rainforest like landscaping, with banyan trees and water features with lots of comfortable seating. Also there is a sugarfina, my new favorite candy store.

Eleonora VI

This place has a lot to offer in terms of shopping and dining. It's really beautiful inside. I especially like the way it incorporate the huge banyan tree.

Hank Rice

It has been renovated and upgraded. It is clean and you feel safe walking inside. No dark corners like it used to have. I do miss the nostalgia it had buy they have added nice resf areas and a mini museum that gives you a wonderful history of the old International Market Place in Waikiki. Not sure if the prices went up but more than likely they have, along with the extra floors that were stacked on one another. Take your time and enjoy yourself here.

Victoria Yoon

Sand People is where I work here at IMP. Love this shopping center. It is beautiful, mellow & an inviting place to shop and just chill. Sand People is located on the second floor next to Godiva Chocolate’s right in front of the gorgeous banyan tree. Come visit me there if you’re interested in Beachy & Hawaii inspiration for your home or to adorn yourself with island inspired jewelry.

Jewett Laygo

Tonight was a nice experience with a performance. I like this place although most of the shops are high-end.

Robert Horowitz

Like the old one better, got to commercialised

Jenn Hope

Not into the high-end shopping. It was much more fun and had more of a local flavor when you could haggle with vendors, and there were so many! Other than the National Geographic shop, I won't waste my time there during visits to Waikiki. It's an overpriced tourist trap that panders to wealthy people who could just as easily buy the same products at home or online. No thanks.

Una Tran

Good area to park at if you want to wall down the strip. Good options for food.

Flying AlieN

Quite simply, one of the most beautiful shopping malls in the world with a two-story Tesla store!

Darcy Ellenson

Interesting stores. Very nice employees in every store. Great experience. Restaurants are such a variety.

David Dunn

Great place to shop. Fine stores beautiful surroundings.

Rebecca Pankratz

The design is beautiful with plenty of water gardens and the large tree in the middle. Lots of high end shopping for those that enjoy that sort of activity. We also had lunch at the food court at Burger Hale. Very good. This is a decent place to walk around.

Matthew Adams

Couldn't bring myself to go in when I saw how it was redone. It might have the same name and location, but it isn't the same place. Looks like a nice mall. But I could go to a mall like this at home. I understand a high end mall like this brings in more revenue for the owners than a bazaar like the old International Market; but at least change the name. It isn't the same place now. Call it the International Mall.

Chad Spates

Really great place to walk around daytime or nighttime.

Shayla Cox

Love the atmosphere! Great places to eat, great shops!!! Things to see and do!!!

Lewis Leone

Excellent. $$$. worth an evening of dining for really wonderful food and atmosphere. If not for saving per diem i never would have ate there due to high cost. But it was well worth it. I will return again and suggest that strip steak is the place to go

S M

Loved it! Crowded, but so many stores and restaurant choices. There's lot of parking in the back and they validate. We walked here from the hotel, because we didn't know about parking. There's a street that runs parallel to Kalakaua (main street). They even had Magnolia ice cream. It's not the old international market from before. My family were very surprised because they remember it differently. Michael Mina's food court is located in the middle.

Linda Perdue

Liked it better when it was open air market 2005

Susan Sisco-Berry

If you really feel a need to go to a mall while on Oahu, this is the place to go (and apparently, nap!). They did a beautiful job of bringing the outside in--it was like the set of Survivor!

Alan Keen

Beautiful, clean and superbly laid out shopping complex with some awesome boutiques to lose yourself in.

C Satterfield

Bought shirts at Crazy Shirts-good selection. Honolulu Cookie Co. Good value & tasty.

John Buzolich

I haven't been here for 30 years but just recently visited. I miss the old casual crafts for sale and the good prices but what a gorgeous new facility. It definitely matches a large modern city expectation and is probably the nicest interior of any mall I have ever visited. Not my types of shops but we enjoyed wandering around anyway and went back for an enjoyable dinner our last night on Oahu. There was a free Hawaiian hula performance with some history highlights which we really appreciated.

Daniel Weber

This is my favorite hub in Waikiki. There are shops and restaurants and it's the best place to park for a few hours. The garage entrance is on Kuhio just southeast of Duke's Lane. The food court is at street level and is aptly names "The Street." There are several restaurants and dining options. It feels more cozy than most food courts. The upper floors of the Marketplace have more restaurant options. The shops in the Marketplace offer a wide variety of unique as well as standard goods. Anywhere you make a purchase can validate your parking.

Louie Lyon

This replaced the old Internation Market Place outdoor stands with a very upscale Shopping Center

Brendita Johnson

Fun to stroll the stores. Saw a wierdo get beat with an umbrella.

Lulu Blessing

Love this place. Nice restaurants on the third floor. Lots of parking. Mostly free with validation. High-end shops on the ground and second floor.

Theo Wu

Disappointingly, this place is not that special. It's just another shopping mall with a variety of stores. The food court is not special at all and acts more as a tourist trap. There is a mitsuwa ( Japanese grocery Mart) on the second floor which is probably the only memorable store in the marketplace. Just go to the international market place to see what it is, nothing more

Atman Dave

Interesting collection of stores. Saw a brief performance as well. Enjoyed the Japanese grocery.

frank diaz

You'll need at least a weekend to see all these incredible shops

Lex Parker

Amazing mall with built in botanical garden. Love the tree house, lighting and cultural show every night

Wally Anglesea

Interesting mix of shops. More upmarket than it used to be ,so it's a bit spoiled for me. Just a personal opinion. .

Harriet Jung

Nice mall. But super unfriendly guy at the information desk, he shouldn’t be working as a greeter if he does not know how to greet guests

Wilson Lin

Such a beautiful mall! Tons to see in just the mall design itself! The shops are pretty nice, a lot of high end stuff.

Mul Vak

The old one was better. This place has no personality now. Did we really need another high end mall? Second star since they kept the homeless out at least.

Masako O

I thought the old tacky international market had more charm. Now it looks and feels like any other shopping area.

kimo napolitano

Wonderful old time spot were we use to get together

David Paul

Very nice but I liked the old International Market Place better.

David Arguedas

Great shopping center in the middle of Waikiki. It has one of the coolest stores Knight rider! Go check out the amazing rings. Don't forget to get your parking validated.

James Gilleland

Lots of stores and restaurants, the gallery is beautiful and I just love the huge banyan tree. You have to go up to the tree house and read about it. So many things and options here. So many good ones.

Zanzibar

Always beautiful especially the photo gallery inside.

Wendel Tse

This new International Marketplace is now a multi-story mall with some really high-end stores, including a Tesla showroom on the ground floor. I miss some of the cheap eats and craftspeople from the old market, but the new Marketplace is well done and still has something for most everyone.

Roopak Krishnan

A lovely place for shopping and good food. In the centre they present Hawaiian dance in the evening. We really had a very good time. The tree house nearby is also a must visit. You have dining on top and a food court at the entrance

Carol Flores

I do miss the "old" international market BUT the updates are nice and good food and shopping - Be sure and check out the art galleries! Wonderful!!

Chris Amendola

Glad to see they kept the original trees that were always there but you will no longer be able to go to the market place for trinkets and be able to negotiate deals with locals. It's all high end stuff that most foreign tourist will be shopping at, which is too bad. Only reason it gets 4 stars is because it's a very nice clean well done place

Amanda Lee

Initially had this place down as a question mark as to whether we would visit during our vacation or not. Glad we decided to come! It’s much better than the Royal Hawaiian Center that’s across the street in terms of the stores that occupy it and the food choices as well. It even has a Mitsuwa! Loved the added touch of rocking chairs and water features. They even have a statue of singer Don Ho! Purchased items from Shoe Palace and The Flip Flop Store. Found a pair of classic tall Ugg boots deeply discounted at $49.98 and used a coupon from Kau Kau magazine to buy a new pair of Rainbow flip flops.

Donald Yip

I upgraded my original rating of 2 stars to 3 stars. This is primarily based on my original and first trip to Hawaii, Oahu, Honolulu back in 1998, and visiting the International Marketplace regularly during our stay. The mazes if little shops was a strong memory I took with me. Hence the original 2 star rating, as it was t replaced with a large 3 story mall consisting if high-end stores, which is not generally my avenue of shopping. But after talking it over with a local, I learned that even Hawaii has to adjust and remold its image just a bit to fit in with trends and to accommodate its millions of visitors. Honolulu is Hawaii's New York City to New York, and San Francisco to California. And with that, despite fond memories, I punched my rating up to 3 stars. The new International Marketplace is indeed a beautiful and were well designed center. The "outside on the inside" concept is great, and makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable place to relax and soak in a bit of Honolulu. It's a place to visit and marvel at the detail and thought put into the design of the center.

Stephanie Greer

We really enjoyed browsing the International Market Place. So much to see with many shops and memorabilia. The food is very good and there are many dining options available. It's such a beautiful place.

Edward Lee

It was great really enjoyed it five stars

Liz Rowley

This was a wonderful experience! So many things to choose from.

Mrs. Lorenzo Rounds

Loved it... So many stores..highly priced

Diego Torres

Large upscale shopping center with paid parking available. This shopping center is three stories tall, full of upscale shops. It's configured in an open mall style shopping center with a huge banyan tree as a center piece. There is also a small play area for kids.

Zabeen Ali

Beautiful sitting areas if shopping is not your thing

Darryl Kelly

This place used to be great, no the huge corporate businesses have replaced the international vendors that use to work here.

Miranda Schreier

How could you not love one of the most diverse and quality food options on Oahu? Only thing I could complain about are the prices in the parking garage, but with it being Waikiki what else do you expect? Amazing food, my favorite was the pizza place on the top floor! Their Bruschetta was to die for! Service was amazing and friendly, even though we accidentally came in about 15 minutes to close, something I always try to avoid.

High end shops have replaced the kitsch of old. Go ahead and look even if you can't afford to shop.

I am still missing the old place. The new building has lots of nice stores and you can even enjoy great Hawaiian show. You should stop by at night.

Tourist trap. I did not do a tour because I felt there is a much better way to learn and explore the culture (read a book, article online and get in your car and meet people) and a better way to spend your money; as I recall it was at least $70.00 for a tour. Everything felt pretty touristy here. I never felt more like a tourist or more out of place in my life. Really, if you want to learn about the culture, READ and interact with people.

Visited Waikiki about 12-13 years ago.. and my favourite part by far was the International Marketplace.. I was worried when I heard it had closed down and re-opened in a different format... my worries were realized when I went for a visit recently.. No more a quaint market run by locals with nearly anything you could think of in a very "flea market" kind of atmosphere.. it's now full of luxury/high end shops... not even half as many people were in there as the last time I visited... leave it to corporate america to screw up the best part about Waikiki... Unless you have deep pockets.. Don't waste your time!

It’s pretty cool how this places transform from an outdoor marketplace with 10 foot booths to the mall in central wiki than it is today. There are some very nice shops but they’ve kept the old trees and fill that existed from the very beginning.

So different since the 2015 total face lift. All upscale stores, restaurants as opposed to small farmers market style businesses. I missed the old INTERNATIONAL Market.

Geers Ohana

A cool place to walk through with a lot of shops (on the pricey side)

Great shops and food choices.

This mall is beautiful and clean. I had a nice walk and learned about the historic Banyan trees. But in the end, this is a mall. Not really for a tour but for shopping. I prefer spending my time in Hawaii somewhere scenic.

One of the happening places in Ohau. Lots of shops and restaurants. They have a food court on the ground floor. Lots of parking space. After the renovations it is now really having an International look. On the entrance they a small pool with fishes. Great place to shop and hang around.

Good range of shops in a great location.
