Just an other upscale shopping area. Nice, clean, safe with plenty of stores, restaurants, etc. Parking can really be a pain though! If you find is the case, try the parking deck either by the Avalon Hotel or across from Whole Foods.

There are shops for everyone here. In the winter, you can go ice-skating :) And please check out that theater, it's very clean, self automated, and has some WONDERFUL seats. Enjoy!

They have good store options. A good few restaurants. The movie theater is really good. They have recliner seats and a bar. They have an open grass space for sitting and for children to play. They have family events. Big parking space.

This outdoor shopping center with restaurants is so much fun! The stores are more upscale then your normal shopping mall. There is something for everyone at this place! I like to bring my kids to the grass area in front of the theaters where they can dance and play around.

An amazing development in Alpharetta, Ga. just west of Hwy. 400 at the Milton Pkwy exit. There is a commercial element of a variety of beautiful shops, and wonderful Bars and Restaurants. They also have developed a residential area adjoining the entertainment area involving attached homes and single family homes, ranging from $500-600K to upwards of $2.5 M. Very exclusive, in part due to the location, but also the quality of high end Builders and Developers doing their jobs in a 1st class manner. It's worth stopping by for a good time in the Shops, Bars or Restaurants...but don't count on getting into the Residential area, unless you're with an Agent and looking to buy.

Avalon mall is the best mall I’ve ever been to in my life it was a very beautiful mall with a luxury hotel and apartments my favorite part about it is there were a lot of nice cars and I love cars so much Avalon mall is the perfect place to spot nice cars for car people i just need to move out of Florida and move to Atlanta

Very nice, upscale, mutli-use project with good restaurants and shops. Large theatre complex brings crowds at night. Parking is easy with both covered and uncovered available. Good for people watching. Recommend.

Very nice. Similar to Atlantic Station but more crowded. Shops are on the high end. Fun restaurants but very pricey. This is a great outdoor mall with plenty to do on a busy Friday night. Park for kids, courtyards, live music, shopping, dining and plenty of spots to just relax outside.

Great area to walk around....shop, eat and drink. Many great places to choose from. Parking can be tight at times. Also, for evening dinners....make a reservation if poss. Some restaurants are very busy and walk in seating is limited.

This place reminds me a lot of Atlantic Station in Midtown. However, one advantage it has is that parking (which is mostly covered parking) is free...if you can find a space. Nice mixture of business offices, restaurants, and stores. This is an outdoor-type mixed use "mall" area so be prepare for the elements if it is hot/cold/raining/etc.

I simply love Whole Foods Market at Avalon. It is actually my favorite place to get a bite to eat. Great atmosphere. Wonderful food. Pleasant staff. Service at Whole Foods is wonderful.

Dont go to Avalon to shop the security will harass you if you go often. My experience was bad. You should feel safe when security approaches you but after my experience I was very disappointed. Just because you shop often they say you can't park in a good spot. They security guy actually said he would have my car towed! Don't go.

It's not the worst place to go and hang out for a while - lots of trendy shops and a decent variety of restaurant options. It's really best to come in from the north side and pull straight into the large parking lots, if you can. Driving through Avalon and finding parking can be a huge pain during peak hours.

Security guard told me I could not take photographs. This is absurd since it's a public space and there were a ton of people taking pictures. I'm not one to jump to conclusions but I do have to wonder if my race plays a role since others were not stopped.

One of the neatest places I've ever been to! Wound up here with a buddy of mine about 2 o'clock in the morning. None of the stores were open of course but it looked so picture perfect I begged him to please let's walk it. He did so grudgingly so it threw my vibe at first but not even the bad company could totally kill the buzz I got off the place and the security guards were surprisingly nice! A friendly nod as they walked their rounds leaving us free to explore in wonder! It was dreamlike and precious! A movie set all for me! Universal Studios without the lines and velvet roped barricades to keep me from running my fingers over the perfection of so many details! Hallucinogenic without any drugs! Oh how I wanted to stay there! What fun it would be to be the night security and get paid to walk the beat of a make believe street in a magical place called Avalon!

Nice mall with cool shops and restaurants. A couple of the restaurants are very bland and came off as tourist food. Like the Mexican place on the main street. Forgot the name because it was that bad!!! Food was very bland. They have an ice rink with various bands in the summer playing and holiday events. Even a Santa house that we take our girls to Every Christmas. The theater is nice as well. I would recommend taking a visit and also seeing the condos above the shops. Even a hotel I believe is available. This place reminds me of of a location in San Jose, CA that's had this same concept 15 years ago. Nice get away from the traditional malls.

Old movie theater and your not allowed to bring food in to the movie theater and they turned on the WRONG MOVIE when we came to watch Paddington 2 they turned on Paddington 1 and said leave if you want (no money back) or watch Paddington 1. Quite a big scam.

Upscale, new development near Alpharetta. Lots of shops and restaurants, just about anything you need. Prices are going to be inflated due to the location. This past point is a sticking point for me when it comes to restaurants especially. Restaurants need to realize that they draw customers and should negotiate better rent at some of these new developments.

It's a nice place to go to look around, eat, and shop. They often have family friendly events in the center green area (ice skating in the winter, evening/weekend concerts in the summer and fall, and many event in between). Parking can sometimes be tricky (free in the decks) and it will likely be a pricey trip depending on what you eat and do. All in all, it's a well manufactured experience. That might be appealing to some and not so much to others.

Great place to blow your hard earned money. Certainly not the place to go if you are bargain shopping. If you like being around plastic people that love to self indulge in vanity, this is the place for you. I’ll never understand why indoor shopping malls are losing popularity to these type places. Following the completion of the latest phase, Avalon has become the blueprint for subURBAN living. It has everything for everybody. My cousin from Boston said, "if I had something like this around me when I was a teenager, I would spend my entire weekend hanging out here". Quality restaurants, good vibe, clean environment. Only issue I have come across is parking. They are working hard to make it accessible and available but Avalon is only going to get more popular so getting there early on weekends is perhaps the best option to find quick parking. Please don't park on the Whole Foods parking lot unless you are shopping at Whole Foods. They are pretty strict with that and your car will get booted. Single family and town homes in Avalon are well architected with fantastic details and layouts. They really add the urban European feel to the location. Privacy is obviously compromised to some extent but the developers have done a good job isolating this part from the hustle and bustle of Avalon. However, every now and then you will find people walking up and down the home stretch peering into the homes to get a glimpse of the exquisite design. Overall, it is a great place to hangout, meet friends, let your kids loose, have a fancy dinner date, shop and enjoy Jeni's ice cream.
