This Mall is included in the category of Shopping mall.
We stopped here to get dinner from the food court this time but we really like this mall. It has changes a little bit in the last few years though.
Kids love it and they have a lot to look at
My van was broken into and the security of the mall could not help. He was willing to walk outside to where I parked, but told me they do not have cameras outside and I'd have to file a police report. Highly disappointed.
I'm not really into malls. I find them to be overly priced for items but this mall is ok. They have a nice large food court. The choices are decent, could be worse. There are a lot of stores in this mall, it's not the biggest mall I've been to but nothing extraordinary. It has a few stores worth checking out, I suppose. Again, keep in mind Im not into the whole mall thing. It reminds me when I was a teenager & we would have our parents drop us (me + friends) off there. So, it was more like a hangout place. I'm no longer a teenager wanting to hangout there & I'm not into paying more for stuff than needed especially this day & age when you can find things cheaper. Yep, I've become that bargain shopper..and I love it! :)
I love malls ,this mall is great if you don't like crowds
Vending machine took my money and management doesn't care. This place is wack im not coming back. Furthermore Dreamland is way overpriced. I feel sorry for anyone who buys anything from that creepy old dude. His stuff is just marked up 400% from what he bought it for online.
Best time to go is early in the morning less crowded
Okay during the day but shady as hell at night. Had a couple guys follow myself and my daughter around and stare at us while we were there. Left without buying what we went there for, I would rather drive a little farther and go to a mall in a better location to feel safer.
Always fun to shop clean and easy to navigate with kids.
Loved this mall growing up. Great stores and food court. Not a very safe place. My daughter and I were walking inside once when a fight broke out between several people. Gangs tend to hang out here and it's been on the news more than once for shootings.
I only go because i have a friend who works at Kay and he helps me get my wedding ring cleaned. I hope it gets better every time im in, but it seems to only be going downhill. Maybe if they cleaned it up a little...
The structure of the place is very nice. It's spacious and has everything!! Each floor is big, very relaxing and lets you pass by and find every shop without being lost inside. The staff in the department store were so helpful when I tried to get the small size of the shoes I wanted which helped me lot in fitting. Kudos for them.
There's always something new going on at the Citadel Mall! Since I was a little girl, I've always enjoyed going to the Citadel Mall whether I buy something or not. Personally, I prefer the Citadel Mall over the Chapel Hills Mall. I love the layout of the mall, and have lots of memories in that mall. On top of having some of the sweetest stores in town, the overall atmosphere is also quite carefree and happy.
I love it there it so long way down I take the bus but if I want to spend quality time with people or friends they have more variety in that mall than any other I think you meet all kinds of people there.
Nice vintage mall. Area looks a bit sketchy. Most of the stores at this mall are stores that you wouldn’t see at any other malls. Anchor stores include Dillard’s Clearance, JCPenney and Burlington Coat Factory. The fountain was turned off when I came.
Victoria Secret's I love to go into Victoria Secrets and the buckle
I live near Chapel Hills now, but don’t get it twisted-Citadel is the OG mall. My cousin and I used to get dropped off here when we were kids; while typing this I realize that was somewhat questionable. I do like the kiosk that gives out various nut samples.
Great stores. It's a really great mall. I love the waterfalls and plants.
A lot of people at the mall the mall is the mall what can I say friendly employees customers nice food is good I enjoy going to the mall
Citadel Mall? More like Shitadel Mall. Once was here at night & nearly got locked in at closing; had to find a janitor to let us out. CREEPY. Security officers here are pathetic. They will go out of their way to discipline your children for you and tell you you are sitting wrong. Sad. They also allow multiple animals WITHOUT service animal vests, including in the food court. UNSANITARY. In conclusion, Chapel Hills > The Titadel smh. This post was made by Chapel Hills Mall gang
In its prime, it was a wonderful place. Sad to see it now, a shadow of its former self. There are too many empty units and too many low budget businesses (nail "salons", flea market caliber stores, etc.) The food court is good and there are still some stores worth your time but it's glory days are behind it. As someone who spent so much time there in the 80's, and 90's, it's sad to see. Most shopping malls have suffered this fate.
Super fun place to chill out and grab food with friends!
This is still a decent shopping center and it's in the central part of the city. I have heard they are having some issues with teens and vandals recently. It is also a flood prone area during hard thunderstorms. They have periodic events like car shows and carnivals.
It's not too big but it's very convenient and I always liked going there. It's a lot of fun because of all the different shops available for you to stop by and not to mention the food court as well. You can get so many things from jewelry to clothes/shoes, phones and accessories, food and even some dessert. They also have a virtual experience spot which was awesome! Great place to hang out with friends or family and great place to shop around as well.
A good variety of stores and a good layout
kinda dead, but very nice. I hope the malls stay around
Twas a mall cuz. On crip
Went with my granddughter To her work nice mall
Great stores and spacious shopping center
Went with a friend and she got half off and more at bath and body works.
I did a lot of research before I bought a puppy and the more I looked into Pet City the more positive information was discovered. I have to confirm that everything I discovered was correct. I have never had a more positive time buying a puppy. They really care about their animals and go to great lengths to explain everything about the animal. Show you all the paperwork to insure you they only buy their animals from the highest quality breeders. There is no high pressure sales pitch with them the animal comes first. There sales folk are all very professional but also extremely nice and friendly folks. Obviously I walked out with with a beauty little pup that has already taken over my house and heart.
I didn't get shot
Sure beats the Durango mall hahaha
Interesting mall lots of shops with an outside setting
I don't know the name of the nail salon in this mall, but got a pedicure and actually getting it done currently and I don't think this man knows what he is doing working on my feet and communicating with him is slim to none. Never judge a book by it's cover. This place is really nice, but the service is not
The shops here are alright- just your standard local mall. Other than being harassed while carrying my baby by some customers loitering outside once I've very rarely felt unsafe here. The Dillards outlet used to have stuff that made this mall worth it on it's own but now it's pretty subpar. Sorry guys, there just isn't a lot of good shopping here.
Cool mall. Interesting what they did to the lower level with the food court and having arcade games and entertainment down there.
I get a classic mall vibe here.
Got an Otter Box case at the phone kiosk, A Fox hat from lids, and some Bubble Tea from Paradise. The staff was friendly and the traffic wasn't bad at all. Always enjoy going to the Citadel Mall!
Very helpful. Steve at jcpenny was very patient and kind.
it is a great mo has lost stuff in it but the thing is they are kind of almost dead in the mall so there's not a whole lot of shops but there are some. It'll be nice to get a few new and updated shops in the mall.
Nice mall to walk around in.some interesting shops.great food court
I love this mall because it has a lot of good stores and restaurants like Hot Topic, Bath and Body Works, a pretzel place, and more.
They have some cool stores but I avoid the mall at all costs
The stores here are pretty good, they have multiple pokestops and the foods pretty good.
Fun little mall. I'm still getting use to the layout cuz my hometown mall is a loop. I like the variety of shops and the entrance I park at has every store I visit like RIGHT THERE. The food court has some yummy options to choose from.
Citadel Mall thank you you just made me remember why I love the malls all the childhood memories the smell the atmosphere this is why I prefer to shop at the mall over online and I'm going to teach my kids the same get out of the house go to the mall like I used to as a kid see a movie buy a pair of J's on some jeans I have some fun. My kids will be Mall shoppers!
The selection of stores is lacking. A little depressing walking around a mall with half the suites empty. Food court is always dirty no matter what time of day you visit.
This mall has the stores I love shopping at. Could have a better clientele
The citadel used to be a place of people and fun. It's so quiet in there now!
Although the building is showing its age, and some wear and tear... there are still a nice complement of stores to shop at in one location. The food court is way above average.
love this place. also the frozen cereal stuff. dragon balls those are cool.
Great VibeZ and Citadel mall Is The foundation of everyone being happy
I love this mall best to shop in the day. Dillards clearance center is super organized. Jc Penney has there clearance center. There is a womans resorce center for ladies looking for help getting back to work and dont miss the pet store fluffy pooches! Quiet clean and great deals. Do go in day light parking lot can be icy in winter and only some sides well lit.
Why is the mall open when everyone else is closed. They make teenagers and older employees drive to work and these conditions, the roads are bad the temperature below, that is unsafe and irresponsible.
Bathroom needs some work to make it wheelchair friendly. Facility was also rather dirty.
They have a lot of different stores. This mall is better than the other northern mall in town. There are more options and they have great stores. Its well kept and there are qlways people cleaning up. They have a pretzel place which is pretty pricey but delicious and they also have the chocolate factory which is kept very stocked!
Friendly customer service, very clean and comfortable to hang out
The mall was kind of confusing the first time that I went but very well organized great staff and just all-around good atmosphere.
It was a good visit had to go fast but was nice .
A good place to do shoping.
Basic mall. Col cool stores. Theres a glass shop in it
Burlington's bottom floor is the only one open and many items on clearance. Great prices as usual. Most stores don't open until noon so it was very quiet at 11am. Nice mall!!
Mall is kinda run down but has decent stores inside.
There are quite a few empty stores which is disappointing. There is still a reasonable selection though for all ages.
Best Banana Milk Shake yummy. At Stake-N-Shake
Moderate amount of cute shops. If more stores open, I'll increase the rating.
Grew up with this mall. Hooters has the best wings. Wish I had the balls to talk to the girl who's always working at the Rico taco place
I had a fun time shopping here.
This place has it's good points, but the crime and homeless problem looms large. The security people are overinflated and useless. They used to have a beautiful fountain, that is now dry and sad. That sums the whole place up pretty well. If you are from out of town, avoid it. There have been multiple shootings there in the last year.
They had a parking lot fair there over the weekend for something to do with the kids. Fun times, went and did some shopping inside the mall afterwards.
Burlington is my favorite and the food court
This might be the most ratchet mall I've been to. It's a wonky 3 level mall. I went there on a Wednesday and surprised how many stores were closed. It was reminiscent of a graveyard for stores do to decay and rot. There was random stores like Taekwondo, a school, and odds n ends store where you might stumble in if you weren't sober and bored. The Dillards was cool in the selection they had, and the carnival outside was a nice touch. However, I will never come back here. I was super eager to leave.
They have a decent food court.
Good mall. Some vendors are mean though.
Really nice place but they ought to put more security around the building since there have been so much trouble there
An Okay selection of goods and various stores. Better come visit during daylight. Food court... It has one.. Arcade Pet store And mini-golf Childs play area Tattoo/periceing
Love the citadel mall. They have stores the chapel hills Mall doesn't, me and my kids love walking around and getting snacks and it's close to home
One of my favorite malls in Colorado Springs!
I LOVE THIS PLACE
Everything us shutting down. Looks like the zohan movie going out of business whole mall. Needs better cleaning crew
Convenient location, love the special events that happen here. The West side of the mall has fallen into desrepair and become a hang out spot for delinquents.
Metro PCS! They will take great care of you.
This is a nice mall to go to. I enjoy the Play place they have for kids. This mall has a clean relaxing environment. Has a little water fall in the food court that is nice to look at. I enjoy the anime store they have. There is some neat stuff here.
Yikes! Such as change over the years... Many vacant stores. Sign says 100,000 sq. ft. for sale or lease
Great Mall To Hang Out In With Family To Shop & Eat....Lots Of Great Shops!
had a decent food court, but many vacant spaces
Gorgeous mall, and I love that they built it down instead of up. Also, gorgeous water feature in the food court.
Cool place to just run into to grab specific items. Wouldn’t suggest making a day of it as the mall is almost run down. Not very appealing to the eyes.
Great place to shop and hangout. Good court is my favorite place then I always head down to antiques right down the street. Gotta love the place for it's gettoness.
the security guards here wanna fight shoppers half their age. smh
Decent for quick shopping nothing spectacular
You can enjoy shopping, different kind of food. Good food, fun for the kids, relax. Cut your hair, drink a beer and others
Its antique, online shopping is killing the Mall/department store era ! This mall is dying slowly... enjoy it while you can, I did!
Stores change alot but the ones that stay are nice
I thought the nail salon was amazing. I was so happy with my pedicure. My husband got me a gift certificate for my anniversary and it was a great gift love their work.
The kid's always have fun
Citadel is a good indoor and outdoor mall. Too bad that very recently there has been some shooting in there. My son likes to get with friends and just walk around. Me and my wife like to go to Barnes and Noble and browse. There is all kind of shops. Like in what it seen everywhere, you just need to be really careful and be aware of all your surroundings. Have fun but be aware and ready.
Closes to early, and dont park outside a store near closing because you can only go out one way. Took us 30 mins in my wheelchair to find the car.
Good food and a very good variety of vendors and shops.
Basic mall not too crowded.
I love it here! They have tons of great stores.
Because they have a bath and body works
Great prices and great service
The mall is not as bad as people make it out to be. Never once did I feel unsafe. It's actually quite a large mall. Their food court has an amazing Mexican food restaurant.
Very nice mall clean well kept!
Outstanding mall - great shops, helpful clerks, clean & well managed. Found everything I needed. Will definitely be going back .
Has everything. Love Burlingtons!
Local Mall. Ample Parking. Handicap Access. Great food court. Clean Bathrooms. Friendly Helpful Security. Lots of neat stores to shop.
Too many emty stores. It's almost a ghost town. Property management needs to get more permanent vendors in the mall and adjust for the times where there is a lot more e-commerce. I like what's in the mall, but do not frequently visit due to the lack of shops inside.
We came here visiting from Canada and there was a huge selection of items that we bought of stuff that we wouldn't be able to find in Canada for a better price than we would pay in Canada!! So happy with our purchases!!
Empty, desserted, no longer relevant. Most all shops moved out. No visible security. Difficult to find from the highway and parking area needs improvement.
Best store in there, is the Van's store
Great place to shop.
Better of the two malls in the spring's and that's not saying a whole lot.
Love the food here. My only complaint is they got rid of Subway which was so delicious. Bathrooms are disgustingly dirty. Vendors with tables in the middle of the walkway near the Pink store harass you into buying things.
Sportsmans Warehouse the best of all the outfitters.
They have almost everything health related and at very reasonable prices
A mall. Shops, check. People, check. What more can you say :) great place and had a great time. Better than some malls on the east coast so that's a huge plus for me
Crowded but still a good place to hangout.
Birthday outing and day of fun was enjoyed by all of our group! Mall was clean and stores were arranged with a very nice flow of patrons.
Only good thing this mall has is Q Rico Tacos.
She is still alive! Not just shopping here, educational, religious, a VR spot, mini golf, etc. More than just low end retail like it used to be, but still the Citadel Mall.
The stores are not my favorite as there’s Not much variety. I prefer going to the chapel hills but this one is nice to stroll through every once in a while — especially for sales. Also more conveniently located for me!
Nice mall and not so crowded this time of year
Not much of a mall at all, it's very deserted. When we went there were vendors with tables selling everything, it was like a garage sale. I went to go to the Dillards outlet. Burlington was the only other store worth going too.
Most of the stores we wanted to go to were closed throughout the day. We spent five hours there. Kids could not bounce cause nobody was tending. We drive all the way from Pueblo just to go. The arcade was fun. The guy that was tending there was amazing.
I hate that it closes so early. Also not all stores are open every day, that's weird! Other then that I do like shopping there. Not an overly busy mall so I don't feel overwhelmed when I go there.
Both the Chapel Hills and the Citadel (the larger one and closer to downtown) shopping Malls (centers) only earn 4 out of 5. One can tell from the vacancy factor that Malls are getting less popular and less attention is paid to marketing and getting shoppers to attend any happenings... a national market trend as folks are using their phones to shop.
It's a classic older mall. Reminds me of growing up and the first malls that I shopped at. Still enjoy it.
very nice mall. thought it was dead when we pulled up but once inside really a nice place with everything you need!
This mall is dying. Whoever likes the food court here have a penchant for places like Golden Corral... Not new, good Golden Corral, but old and busted Golden Corral in the bad part of town; the ones that smell like sewage (e.g. the one in Aurora CO). Go here if you are looking for something you normally find at a store in the mall, but they sold out because that mall has more stores, people WANT to go there, and you need the item really bad.
It's a good size shopping mall with a good selection and variety of stores located throughout the entire mall as well as a nice little variety of places to order food from in their food court.
Nice mall all except going to the Japanese restaurant having the employee talk to her friend as he's sitting at the counter vaping. this is not okay who smokes around the food
Good experience. Went to torrid...asked for help several times and was ignored. Will probably never go back to that particular establishment. Otherwise the place was clean and a great selection of shops.
It's a bunch of stores full of stuff I can't afford and don't really need anyway. Unless you wanna buy me stuff that is. Then it's great. I'd love an adult onesie that makes me look like stitch, they have em' at hot topic...!
Used to like this place but then realized that there is nothing here. The vendors in the middle harass you and today I had the pleasure of Thomas the head of security verbally assaulting me for asking a question. If you wear a pin that says Citadel Security Manager you should have the people skills to answer a question as simple as "Where is this store?" We won't be returning. Drive the extra bit and go to Chapel Hills and you will never miss Citadel!
Used my Google to go to a Burlington and brought me here, Ummm no it's a dem lit mall, Ghetto stores inside sketchy security lol, Saw a big pregnant lady ride a elephant push cart for kids, even my 4 year old daughter said this place is scary ha yea I won't be coming back!
Awesome place to go shopping with the family. And the food court has a great variety of places to choose from when you get hungry and need something to eat!!
Has many shops summer closing down but a good food court
Always a good place to go to to take your friends family girlfriend out to eat and window shop
Absolutely depressing. This mall solidifies the well known fact that malls are slowly rotting away due to online retail shopping. Many stores were closed/closing (out of business) and it only seems like it will continue downhill from there.
Loop close inside Easton Mall lot of different shops
Decent mall. Has good shops. Just seems like they always have stores closed. A little of wasted space. But other then that. Good mall
A fun place to be, with a great atmosphere and a good variety of stores - from the anime store Dreamland and places like Hot Topic and Spencer's, to a good variety of food stores in their food court! They even have an arcade and VR place!
Almost always find what I'm looking for here via the variety of stores there
I have been shopping at this mall since it was built in the '70's. Do most of my Christmas shopping here. There is JC Penny's, Burlington Coat Factory here and many more stores to shop. Great food plaza too!
Went got my hair done. Nothing more or less still the same small but with a few different stores
It's a nice little mall, alot of independent little shops that aren't apart of a chain that you wouldn't see anywhere else multi level food court with a nice fountain.
All of the places I loved to shop all went out of business. The best thing about this mall is pet city, miniature golf, and the food court. It's pretty unfortunate. I used to love this mall and go weekly, now I have to buy almost all of my clothes online or drive about an hour away.
This place is huge. Came here for the first time. It doesn't look that Grand from Aerial view. But they have 3 stories in shops. We had good food and bought lots of perfumes for gift and personal use that we came for. Will come back again.
I went to Lenscrafters they adjusted my glasses
Lots of stores. Great service at all of them.
Needs to be torn down it's like a gost town over priced junk they sould make it a hunted house this hollowen
I really don't like the citadel mall it doesn't have a very good selection of stores and it just seems dark and dingy. A lot of the stores were closed before the mall was even closed. It has really gone down hill.
Fun place to hang out wit friends
Great! We went to Kay Jewelry, and had exceptional friendly service. Very informative as well.
The shoe depot is very cost effective . The mall is very eclectic and diverse that it is a true sensory experience . Many of the shops boast very different styles, jewelry, shoes and electronics. The food court is an ever changing landscape of merchants fighting for your taste buds. The main attraction is definitely the environment. You cannot help but to sense that many people plan to go here just for fun lol
