Cute and worth a walkthrough. Lots of little shops and eats as well.
So cool! Definitely a recommended stop if you're visiting Denver. At least to walk through, get a coffee.
Great shopping and eateries! Love the history!
Dining and shopping for the most part. Shops are mostly pricey, high-end goods. Pretty average dining fare - expensive drinks included.
The lights were really pretty
Very nice ambiance for date night in the city.
Busy and lots of cool places to eat and drink. Could not hit them all. Lots of hustle and bustle.
If you like the night life, definitely visit Larimer Square.
What we loved most about this district were the multiple unique shops and eateries - from jazz lounges to candy shops, there was so much to explore as we walked under the lined lights on the streets of Larimer Square. The area was very energetic as locals walked to the nearby baseball game and at every corner and in between there seemed to be a cool place to explore. Great accessibility for those taking a stroll. Parking is plentiful but pricing may depend on whether you're able to snag a street spot or have to go into a garage. Very close to other places of interest as well.
Cool and eclectic. A nice community feel with great shops and restaurants...interesting people and modes of transportation too.
Very nice place to shop and get a drink. A little cleaner than downtown.
Every city/town needs an area like this. Support local businesses, great place to spend time with friends and peaceful ambiance. I recommend anyone visiting Denver to at least walk through this area. I'm glad I got to spend an afternoon here before flying out. You get to see the beauty in Denver.
The shopping is good if you get there early enough. Once it gets late all the shopping closes and none of the restaurants are relatively cheap. So be ready to spend $50 ish for any dinner here for two. Capital grille is here and they still have the BEST cheesecake ever! So if you just want dessert this place is the place to go!!
Great place to walk around and window shop
Streets are decorated with flowers, tables on sidewalk, busting with people. Very nice place to hang out
We read a lot of articles says this was a most while in Denver. What we experienced wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either, most today the shops are small or are a chain that you can see anywhere. Some of the architect or was cool but if you are looking for shopping you might as well visit a mall.
Some nie resturants in this area worth a visit
I love the atmosphere in this area! There are great restaurants, bars, nightlife and it's beautiful to walk around at night
Very fun spot to hang out and people watch. Also a nice escape from cars.
If they had green Chile it would be the best place in town. Still you get a good serving of food in your order. I'd say it's just like Mama's if you had a mama that cooked filling food.
Was a good time at the chalk art festival. Would only like to see better foot traffic control around the exhibits. Wasn't able to see as many as I would have like to because you couldn't get close to some
Great tourist spot to get a wide range of good food.
Cool lil area that houses some darn fine restaurants and bars. Parking can be hard ti locate sometimes, but its worth it !
No matter what cake you try in this place ,it will taste like nothing you have tasted before. You can buy a whole cake but call 48hours before. Prices are good for the amount and quality of food your getting.
Best square in America. Everything you need. Definitely worth a visit for the chalk walk and Firemans Chili Cookoff every Fall.
Excellent people watching in Denver's most historic block.
Larimer Square is one of the gems of Denver. I came here for my birthday and the lights were spectacular in the evening. The businesses do cater to a quieter more cultured type of upscale audience. Larimer Square is one of the few places that fits in perfectly with both the old and new Denver. I certainly hope it can be preserved for future generations unlike so much of downtown Denver which has recently been lost.
Fun place in the city to hang out with friends and family.
This was really just a couple streets with higher end retail shops on it. I wasn't terribly impressed.. I'm sure it would be beautiful with the lights on at night, but for my purposes I will not be back.
What a wonderful place. I love taking my family here for many if reasons. I'll take them there for dinner, or my friends who love to see fancy cars. Or just at the end is a comedy works that just puts on a great show. But the food is just out standing. Great place to walk around or just hang out
Melt in your mouth cod. Loved the Miso blackened Cod with Edamame and Shiitake mushrooms
The Milk Market it's a great place with multiple choices to eat, only fresh food
Lovely boutiques along with several other options
Mall was well thought out. Easy access and great stores.
Cute, fun area with lots of shops and restaurants to check out!
Denver is a great City that is booming right now. A lot of fun things to do in and around Denver
Really nice, pretty, rustic shopping area in downtown Denver. Good selection of shops and restaurants. Nice place to spend an afternoon.
This is a really pretty block of upscale wine bars, restaurants, and boutiques. It is very pretty to walk through at night and then have a glass of wine at Cru on their back patio.
Restaurants and hat shops are the best! The candy store is great too
Beautiful part of town with lots of wonderful shops and eatery.
I loved this place! Yummy breakfast options. Some creative, some basic.
Nice quaint shops. Full of surprises and novelties. Great place for souvenir shopping.
Great selection of shops, easy walking, I loved the views. This area is reasonably clean and low on foot traffic. Parking is street level and can be a bit hard to get.
A great outdoor venue with a selection of shops and restaurants. A nice place to hang out.
Great downtown area. We attend a street festival and it was well put together
Nice clean area in downtown Denver. Events going on that are fun for the whole family. Family had a great time walking around and look at everything in the area.
Cute area with very nice stores, food and liveliness. Every store owner in the area were welcoming even though we did not come particularly to purchase anything.
Larimer Square is such a fun little Denver thing! It’s picturesque and has so many cute shops and delicious restaurants. There are higher-end eats, but there’s also “The Market” cafe, which has DELICIOUS coffee and the must-try SPRING FLING CAKE! Yum.
Really cool place to walk around. Love history. Lots of food choices. Lots of shopping and Free bus service close by. Love the pianos out to be played.
Awesome how they close the street and let all the vendors move out to the street.
one of my favorite places to be at always something going on there
While we were in Larimer Square we had some food a little shopping and no one was rude. Charming and unique certainly a Denver staple. Rio Grande has gotten much better. We must have great parking, we have always found something on street and walked around. Safe area except super late at night go home and hold your loved one tight.
Many places to have a good meal and some laughs!
Great, fun area. Had dinner at Cru and it was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Amazing place for drinks and a stroll!
Beautiful street filled with shops, restaurants, salons and more. Larimer is covered with outdoor lights, and there are lots of plants and greenery in the summer. It's a very picturesque setting and a must visit in Denver.
So I came here to check out down town Denver but, boy oh boy I did not expect any of what I encountered. They call it a shopping mall but all I saw was restaurants. Walked 15 minutes away from this place to get to a real shopping mall. Cute little area but would be much more enjoyable to check out at night with the lights or when they have the roads blocked off for events. It was kinda hard to find parking but they have places for paid parking for multiple cars. They also have scooters you can pay for to ride all over town, it's kind of a pain in the butt to set up but kind of worth it if you don't waist too much time on it.
Great place for fine dining! Relaxed atmosphere and just a chill vibe. The food at at least three restaurants was sensational.
Nice and clean area, no brand items, all specialty independent stores. Good variety
Kinda reminds you of Little Italy in NY. They have lights draped over the street and other shops as well as restaurants, however, it's only a block long unlike the one back east. This one has the Rocky Mountains as a beautiful backdrop which is difficult to top.
My bike was stolen from this exact location
Very Denver! This square has so much history and vibrant culture to it. Grab some coffee at The Market and window shop (and feel free to bring your 4 legged furry best friend)! Events here are always a good time so make sure to drop by and check it out.
If you're looking for a very nice place to eat, come here and try almost any of the restaurants on this strip
Great area to walk around and shop and eat
This is where the most city events held on, very beautiful place day & night
The Green Russell speak easy is my favorite bar in Downtown Denver. Every time I have a friend visit from out of town I take them here and they always come away impressed.
Quaint and unique. A lot like the Pearl district in Portland OR. The Pearl is much bigger and has its own neighborhood vibe. People live and raise their kids there. Marketing and living and working all in walking distance. Larimer will have to stretch it's wings and work harder to be equal.
Super cute shopping district in downtown Denver! There are a few nooks and crannies you can explore and they were full of surprises. There are quite a few restaurants too and overall a very quaint atmosphere. It's a short walk away from 16th Street Mall and the Convention Center, it's definitely worth a walk through!
Loved all the shopping and all the food markets
So quaint to see walk around and explore
Great place to see all kinds of stores, shops, dispensaries, buses that run people over, and all kinds of people. Different food festivals exist and lots bustling.
It's beautiful, with all the overhead lights in the street and the Many places to eat and shop. It makes for a wonderful experience if you're into people watching.
Historic district. Lots of charm. Great eats and drinks. Outside seating is a must while you people watch
We were here for the Chalk Fest, so many awesome pieces of art! It was too bad as it rained a bit earlier in the day so some of the drawings were not as vibrant or defined. Live music, food and beer all on the street. It was lots of fun. The street is lined with string lights, very cute!
If you want to explore the historical district of Denver then Larimer Square is a "must not miss" destination, it features some of the original very oldest buildings and structures that were built at the very beginning, founding of the city of Denver. The entire area is extremely charming with a vast and entertaining mix of shops and restaurants, there's something for everyone here.
There is a good variety of cuisine and some unique shops in this area. Just take a stroll and you never know what you might find here or right by it.
Dr. Todd is the best! Thorough exam, he walks you through what he is doing and why and helps advise when you have questions. Great experience every time!
Do I even have to write why this place is amazing!?
Great time at Chalk At Festival but sadly it rained. Had great food and excellent shopping at various retailers. Always something to do DOWNTOWN
A must visit for all the art (Murals) lovers. Vibrant and effective representations. Not much crowd around so be little vigilant.
Beautiful architecture and yet it is disappointing. Basically a two block stretch of upscale restaurants. Hipster eatery heaven I guess. If you are looking for something unique and exciting then look elsewhere.
Cute little street with many good restaurants. A little on the pricey side but it's worth the trip.
GREAT tourist experience especially when there is an event happening, or in the winter when the Christmas lights are everywhere. Excellent dining options, and lots of great and unique boutiques to shop in. And it's only a few blocks to the 16th street mall, which is fun too.
A collection of higher end shops and eateriesin a traditional Western street. There's a great selection of restaurants... I'd recommend Russell's Steakhouse which is in the basement if one of the buildings alongside a not-so-secret speakeasy... Tamayo is a good option for Mexican food and Euclid Hall for an eclectic pub menu in an industrial setting. Hope that's of some help!
Very nice, the atmosphere was quiet at all times, the ideal calm for a meal!
The parking is the worst. Parking valets recently took over six additional parking meters. It will cost you $15 even if you're going into a store for 15 min
Daughter loves visiting here to look at the pets.
I forgot about "the market"! My cousins and I parked our scooters and enjoyed a great deli experience. Larimer Square is timeless.
really cute little corner, was at Slow food nations so i didn’t get to much time to walk around but everything i saw was cute as heck!!
Super cute area. Restaurants we checked out were a little pricey in my opinion but might be relatively normal for the area. I'd recommend visiting though. Lots of cute shops!
I work in the area but it seems like a cool place for a date. Lots of food and drink options. Park at Writer's Square and walk with your boo.
Small cute area downtown, cute shops and places to eat.
Roof top garden and resources. Excellent Urban development.
This is one of the best parts of downtown Denver. There is available parking garages, parking lots or parking on the street within walking distance. My wife and I were fortunate enough to get parking on the street. The restaurant choices are acceptional and the variety of stores is nice as well. It is the best when it is getting dark outside and the lights on the street standout. If you are looking for a unique area that isn't as crowded as central downtown then go here!
Lovely street with delicious food. A must if you are visiting Denver and be sure to stop by The Market for coffee
Best place to celebrate life. We went there for our 40th anniversary with our son and daughter in law. The TAG team made it a special. Noy only the food is great and service is amazing they even have us a card personally signed by all their crew on that day. Such s nice thought.
Great little area full various restaurants, bars, boutiques to meet every taste.
The architecture is lovely. The street it self has a great feel; though, some of the establishments can use more viarity of cusine and lounge spots. The Market is a great place to visit while there
Awesome part of Denver that I consider the heart of the foody scene. Yes there are other places but this location has the most to offer.
This is one of the best places to visit in Denver. Great places to dine, and excellent choices for live music.
Very small block and not much to see at all. There was a brewpub close by that made it worth the quick stop.
I'm not sure if I understand why this is one of the top things to do in Denver. It's older buildings with string lights, but cars still drive through this road. The restaurants are also fairly expensive. I would personally skip this and go to Pearl Street in Boulder. It has shopping, food and is pedestrian friendly.
The best cakes in Denver for me!!
What’s not to like. Shopping and great eatery options in a historic urban setting
The Comedy Works has Great Comics!
The oil lady was very nice and she even told me about a second location they have closer to my house
Ambience: My experience was went with my wife and got a booth inside. Unfortunately there was a group of guys at the bar stool that were too loud for us. Food Quality: The bison and the beef burgers were little salty. French fries were not crispy at all. Service: Server didn't come to our table for almost 10-15 min while we were waiting for he check. Overall not a good first time experience for a pricey place.
One of my favorite parts of Denver. So many options for food, drink, and shopping! Hit up the Green Russell while you’re here. Some of the best mixed cocktails
Nice to walk around. A lot of stores and restaurants to choose from.
Great section of town. Upscale shops and dining. Ambiance is awesome. Great date nighta
A nice shopping mall with lots to offer. Definitely a place to take cute photos.
Pretty but not much to do
Great place to wind down for the day. Lots of places to eat and shop. Later in the day seemed alittle nicer. Outdoor seating is readily available at most restruants. Felt safe and mostly free of pan handler's.
Multiple setups, banks and even a gym upstairs...clean and trendy environment.
The restaurants here are excellent. One of my favorite Denver areas.
This is a great place to go. Very lively, upbeat and fun. Lots of shopping in this area as well as bars and food.
Historic Larimer Sq has managed to hang onto it charms, it's botique shops and up scale restaurants while the rest of Denver has changed. Best of all, The Market if still slinging attitude, coffee and grub like nothing have changed, all these years later.
Very disappointed. Visiting Denver for the day we drove down and got a day pass for parking, expecting to spend a few hours strolling through all the shops in Larimer Square, and discovered it's essentially 1 city block (we expected a much bigger stretch), with 90% of the real estate just restaurants. Not a lot going on personality wise, and we ended up walking a few hours elsewhere in the city.
A place that you can get a feel of how Denver, and 16th street mall used to be a decade ago. Very nice classy place.
Great restaurant. Great Colorado staple.
Always a great spot to grab a drink or some delishes food. Larimer Square is one of Denver's oldest spots and it has the charm of Yesteryear's Denver.
Love this place! Great drinks and love love love the street tacos!
I really like this place a lot! I never knew it was here! It is a total hidden gem with all kinds of goodies.
That's actually a great place in Denver, something where you'd bring your friends who are visiting the city. Probably not worth visiting on your own if you know the city well, but certainly worth going there at least once in a lifetime.
Great area in Denver. Convenient with lot restaurants, bars and shops. Excellent variety. Good parking and valet. Lively and fun.
Very cool environment was also find of the flags and just how many shopping options that there were ! Will definitely be returning soon!
Nice square in LoDo. Shops, restaurants and always decorated to commemorate events in Denver. Wish it was pedestrian only.
Passing through Denver on our way to the airport with time to kill before our flight. Not nuch to see here except for a lot of restaurants. Maybe next time we're in Denver with more time on our hands we can explore further.
Fun place to check out and walk the streets. Check out Euclid Hall for amazing cocktails and food.
Very nice. Could be better by not having traffic go through!
Went for the Slow Food show and was impressed with the beautiful and trendy shops!
A block of eatery and retail stores that attracts a lot of tourists to spend down time in Denver. Unique and historical buildings are still preserved in that block. It seems quite festive with lots of theme flags along the street.
Fun part of downtown! Food, comedy, beautiful
Very eclectic, busy. Welcoming area.
Decent enough place, certainly nothing to write home about
Here on a Monday afternoon, nothing seems to be happening. To be fair, their business might pick up later at night. Establishments along the streets are definitely on the higher end side. The square is very well maintained and look good n high class. Again I would say its very very quiet even for a Monday afternoon.
I love Larimer Square great place to walk around
Like the place but its fun to walk around only during evening and night time.
Beautiful street for shopping and seeing downtown denver
Fun place to walk around in the evenings when the light are lit up.
Nice place with a lot of different eateries, a great place to chill, and people watch.
Nice place. There are lot of food options but getting the parking is a bit difficult. No doubt it’s a happening place in the city. Lots of boutiques and pubs are there. Moreover the place is decorated with the flags of all different countries.
R.I.P. was a great mall for a very long time. Hopefully the history of the place will get it reopened again soon.
Super cool more so at night.
Beautiful place to walk around. Lots of shops and great places to eat.
We were roaming around downtown and accidentally reached Larimer Square during the food festival in August! We were really surprised to see the whole new atmosphere with tables lined on the road, the whole area decorated with CO flags n lights, waiters serving the tables... It was really amazing!!! Larimer Square is generally a great place for dining.. it has various options of cuisines... n all these restaurants had come together on the street for the food festival!!
Great place to visit and great shops for unordinary gifts options. Great restaurant also!
Cool outdoor area, fun when there is a festival going on!
Cool buildings. Not much to see for the average Joe. Lots of upitty shops
Great brisket. Memphis style barbecue
Great place to walk around see stores and find all types of great foods
Fun times walking around and checking out the bars and restaurants. Pretty at night with the lights.
Everything anyone might want in the city. Loads of people and things to do. Resaurants and bars and clubs and shops. A very expansive area filled with so much that to do it well and proper would take a series of weekends incorporating rickshaws and taxis. I had a blast.
Just a great space to visit.
Denver's first Bank and Post Office was located on this block. The history is rich. If this street/block could talk, what stories would it tell? The lure of gold and silver brought many people across the plains. Little did they know of the hardship the topography of the plains themselves would create. If gold seekers knew what faced them, they may have stayed home. It wasn't uncommon for a man to show up at the foothills in dress shoes. During winter too. You figured it out fast or you didn't make it. That's why today the healthiest people are in the west, because the plains weeded out weak genetics. Same migration and expansion took place in Australia.
We enjoyed Larimer Square! Friendly people, fun shops with welcoming floral arrangements and eats. We especially liked The Market -- great tea, food and pastries!
Excellent atmosphere. Cherry Creek downtown.
One of the best blocks in all of Denver!
