I’ve lived and I worked in Belmar for 8 years. It’s a great place to live but over the last few years new management came in and is driving it into a hole. I’ve seen so many great businesses close because of issues they had with management. Rent for owners is extreme and unless your a huge corporation/chain the business will not succeed. It’s really sad to watch the best places close. (Brodo, bowling alley, Grappa, Rockos, charming Charlie’s....too many to list all) my husband tried to rent an office here and again had so many issues with the management so we backed out. I used to work well with the management with previous owner. I hope something changes soon.

We have been to a few places here. Like the Elephant Bar but it is no longer there. The last time we went it wasn't very good so I'm not surprised. Ted's Montana Grill was a little higher end for the area but it was very good and the cleanliness and decor of the restaurant was outstanding. Target, who can live these days without a target. The sushi place I don't recommend. Dirty. We went to one of the pubs. It was okay. Wouldn't go again by choice. The pho place was delicious, would love to go there again. Haven't been to any other places in the Belmar. Roads were marked well and street signs were plainly seen. The sidewalks and street crossings were clean. The restroom in the center of the Shopping mall was also very clean. All in all a nice place.

They have everything you need! Love this place I would suggest that they have more bathrooms around I only know of one in the shopping area unless you go into Target. They definitely have a good pick of restaurants!

This is very nice and clean place to shop in Lakewood. I loved near this shopping center and would often come walking around the plaza. There are a large collection of stores and food options. Parking can be a little hard to come by on weekends. Be wary that it is an outside mall and will be cold to walk around during the winter.

Belmar is a fantastic community. There's a really nice Super Target and a number of cute unique shops, a really great movie theater with recliners, and a number of good restaurants. There is a little town square with ice-skating in the winter and live music in the summer. I especially like the Japanese restaurant, Wasabi, and Little India.

Fun Friday nights in the plaza. Live music, dancing, movies, and of course food and shopping. Food choices range from fast food hamburgers, to sit down Indian and Sushi. Shopping options range from big box stores Target, to local Crafters shops. Nice hotel, big movie theater, and if you are in the mood to switch careers, a radio broadcasting school, and a Paul Mitchell academy.

Love Belmar plaza . Where else can you eat play and live right? With so many things to pick from how can you go wrong? Wide range of things like library, to target, to IHOP, to movie theater, to pizza, and lots of bus stops around the plaza . There is a Ross, king super, salons, I mean this place has is going on. You will get tired if you are walking around belmar plaza.

Nice area. Bunch of over priced food and shops. Little tiny gym in there, with just enough room to see some posers posing, hoping for some thirsty person to give em a minute. The wasabi, sushi place and tea house are both good spots to eat if you get drug through this area.

I love Belmar I lived in the area for 11 years and I love all the shopping. The Target and the Whole Foods are two of the nicest in the state I would say. I am actually really jealous that I'm not going to be around there to shop at them anymore. Also the movie theater is really nice and the bowling alley is really nice. Everything there has been made pretty recently because it used to be the old Villa Italia Mall there and now it is all new stuff. I really think that it's a nice thriving cultural center with the ice skating in the winter as well. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to go shopping or go stop for a bite to eat or even visit an art gallery.

This apartment complex is amazing! I love the location.....short walk to restaurants, bowling and shopping. Best of all we love the leasing staff! They are attentive, professional and responsive. We just love the layout of our apartment and love that the pool is away from the road and a bit secluded. Outdoor TV and grill are a plus! Check out this great apartment complex.

Fun place to hangout with friends. Public areas to play ping pong, chess and other games. Ice rink in the winter along with many Christmas lights. Nice movie theater with reclining seats. There’s a target. A small park and many other small shops and places to eat. Somewhat expensive but not bad. Parking in the street is difficult, so I would recommend parking in the parking garage and just walking on foot.

We came here for the Horseshoe Holidays at the Belmar. This place was crazy busy so many vendors including my favorite one Topoglow. Everyone that was shopping was polite and friendly. The vendors were just as friendly with a lot of samples. We spent some money here on gifts, but we enjoyed helping the support the vendors. We’ll be back again for next year.

I really love coming to this movie theater and I love having my membership with them I don't like their policy on the whole thing of having a backpack now don't get me wrong I understand you know century The Hope company in Colorado has has basically had issues and we definitely had a a tragedy that happened but also at the same time century needs to be a little bit more respectful and they need to be a little bit more kinder and a little bit more considerate when people want to come and watch a movie they need to have a waiting a storage area for people who have to have their backpacks and if they are on public transportation they can and they need to design or they need to build a waiting or a holding lot for people's luggage or their back packs or something like that I went to a movie this evening and I saw a woman carrying a backpack with her and I don't know if they said anything to her but that's kind of unfair that she can get into the movie theater with the backpack and I can't I think that is a little bit disrespectful and a little bit on trust worthy so I would like to see century 16 the one in Boulder the one in Aurora and the one that's in Lakewood most of all I would like to see them design or reverb rebuild a holding lot for people's backpacks or something and it would make things go a whole lot more better to as well I know that they have the money and I know that they got the funds for it even a holding locker room area or a waiting room knowing that you have the key and in watch a movie is over you can you can grab your stuff or something just a little bit more respectful in that but this is a cool place to watch movies I really do like it. I just want to see that policy change???....

I went to Belmar on Father's Day for brunch and I really liked the restaurant that I went to that day. (The name includes steakhouse in it's name...) I was in the hospital recently and I so requested to drink decaf coffee with my food and my server was more than happy to me help with my request. I sat outside (in their patio space on the west end of the restaurant that I'm trying to remember it's name.) with my daughter, my friend, and my mom. The weather was really great for brunch to have happened. We walked past the Belmar Target to get to where brunch was supposed to have happened. That particular Target is 2 floors (tall) and the grocery carts are on the first floor near where you can park your car. Everything else is found upstairs on the second floor going up a set of escalators. There's an elevator going to the second floor as well. In the winter, there's a skating rink in Belmar in Lakewood, CO. That's it for me writing about the restaurant that I went to on Father's Day in Belmar... :)

Belmar has so many things available to do. They have a good handful of eateries including sit down places like The Rock and fast food places like Chic-fil-a and Firehouse. It also has stores like Yankee Candle, Gamestop, and Best Buy. It has local places like a painting shop and a Gift House. Overall, it's a great place to just spend a day and walk around, as long as you have a little money to spend.

We visited the Italian festival and unfortunately left without food because there were no benches or chairs or tables and I was on crutches so we were going to take some cannoli home but they had nothing to put sauce in. All any of the booths had was foil and flimsy paper plates. What a shame. There are too many other church bazaars and Lodge bazaars throughout the summer to visit to worry about one that can't provide solid eating containers or small bags to carry food home in. You providers need to wake up because the couple using the elevator with us said the same thing... nowhere to sit and eating conditions not the best.

Street parking costs and garages are not conveniently located. Many chain stores can be found at indoor malls with free parking. I will never choose to walk in bad weather when I can shop in a real mall.

Meh. Belmar feels like it's really trying to be uppity but it's not. It's just "forced" somehow. The parking is a hassle and the traffic at Wads & Alameda is a serious bummer. Only go here once a year for the Holiday Gift Market.

It has wifi all over the plaza, which is a huge plus. The stores are large and well lit. Water and bathrooms are available. Everything I saw was ADA accessible. I went to Winston's and Target, and since my mom is disabled I pay attention to those things. Target has escalators and an elevator, the pub was one level. Parking is free at Target, they have a structure on-site. Winston's may be a little trickier, as it's licated in a store front along a row of them. I rode the bus there, and the stops are fairly close and buses run regularly. The walk to and from the stops was ADA friendly.

Belmar is a great collection of shops & restaurants in the style of an outdoor mall. There's a Target, a Whole Foods, a liquor store, a movie theater, & all sorts of other fun stuff within a small walkable area. We go here a lot!
