Ordered in drive thru in morning on way to work. First time and last time customer. Service was very slow made me almost late to work, and I did not get what I ordered. I don't recommend. Those who decide to try their the food.. good luck. Hopefully you get what you order.

A decent mall for this part of town. The carousel/ merry-go-round is the nicest one I’ve ever seen. There are two levels, plenty of space to ride, and it’s inexpensive. I’m pretty sure that my daughter got hand, foot and mouth disease after playing in the toddler play area. I’d avoid bringing your kids there unless you don’t care about bacteria and viruses.

Love the Flaming wok. And went to hot topic as well. Desert Sky mall is awesome good atmosphere.

This mall is boring only reason they get a lot of business is cause it's in west Phoenix if you need somewhere to go to get cool then head there some stores are good

Honest Reviews4U

Thank you for reading the Honest Reviews4u! The mall is very spacious with multiple local stores. The only few major retail stores located in the mall are Burlington, footlocker, Dillards and Curacao and maybe on or two that I might have missed. Besides these major retail the rest are locally owned and operated. You can find some great deals on phone cases, shoes, clothing and Jewelry along with food. The mall has an internal swap meet. The swap meets is mostly gear toward cellphone accessories with a few clothing and Jewelry stores. Out side the internal swap meet the mall has multiple clothing stores. It has plenty of parking space with multiple restaurants around it. The look and feel of the mall let you know the mall is pretty old (with the exception of Curacao look like new) especially in Dillards it felt it was the most run down. Also due to its lack of car pool security I wouldn't recommend taking an expensive vehicle instead maybe take an older not so great looking vehicle. Customers service was not very great across many stores just felt like any other number walking in an out of a store. As a result I gave it a 3 out of 5 stars.

I was asked to leave and not return by security as I was going to get my returns out of my car. I had been shopping for approximately 1~2 hours in 3 stores, and had been spending my hard earned money more than this mall deserved! When security approached me, I asked them what the problem was and why was I being told to leave. The only thing they told me was that my brother and I had received multiple complaints but no further details were provided. I had not done anything wrong- literally just spent over 100$in hot topic, a jewelry kiosk, and was about to drop another hundred on bath and body works. They were even holding my purchases at the register for me while I went to get my items to exchange!!! I was even told they called the police also and I should leave at once. I was tempted to stay just because I had not done anything wrong and I wanted to know how I could be treated this way and was OBVIOUSLY stereotyped and discriminated against. I called the management of the mall and was told to contact head of security but was never able to get in touch or get answers from security management. This mall is whack anyways- so they should really appreciate the people that DO TAKE THE TIME to shop and spend money in this shEEETt hole!!!! Not throw us out like trash!! That's ok- ARROWHEAD WAS MORE THAN HAPPY TO TAKE YOUR BUSINESS.

It's a very simple mall not easy to get lost. Not busy on week days. Sometimes busy weekends. But overall you'll have a great time ñ.

The kids area and the food court is where I usually go. There are quiet spots where you could sit away the minutes. There's a mercado there with beautiful shoes, dresses, audio accessories, stylists, and even a place where they'll sew the zipper back in your jeans and jackets. All three places are completely on the other end of the triangle. I usually just drive around the outside and that's when I remember there's a theater there.

Kind of wanted to go on a calm nice date with the girl I like, walked out by the entrance near the the theater and although the dumpster are rather far away, you could smell it going from that entrance to the next and all throughout the parking lot. There was a giant mariachi band playing and it was way too loud, I almost threw up just from how loud it was which I didn't think was possible and it was way too overcrowded. Not a chill kind of mall I guess.

For a "ghetto" mall, this place is pretty sweet. Clean, well-lit, not visibly blighted. The food court might be lacking, but it boasts THE BEST carousel I've found in the whole state. Two stories tall, and only $3 to ride! Kids loved it.

Of all the malls in phoenix this one sure is lacking. It does have some unique and fun things like a flea market however it isnt very full of things if your looking for a mall with a lot to do I do not suggest this one. But if you are just looking to do something but not be with a fully packed mall this is the place to come. Be sure to check the time because they do not open at the same hours as other malls.

Great location. Some stores are out of operation, though. But still enough open to make the trip worth it. There's a nice food court, and it's close to several restaurants and other fast food chains if you're in the mood for it after a leisurely day of shopping.

This mall is prime example of what can happen (or in this case, what can be saved) when a community comes together. I love how this mall truly has an identity of its own. Not dead by any means. Not "ghetto" either. It is geared more towards the working class and/or Latin American communities, however. A must visit!

We went to Cinnabon there is the only one on our side of town and noticed a lot of really interesting shopping stores I'd love to check out when time permits

Breakeven Paradox

Lots of gold n piercing places. No really good stores like Arrowhead. Just seem to be geared toward cell phones and piercings. Sears is gone. Burlington coat factory is worth it. Curacao eh. Restaurants around ALWAYS packed. Just plain boring.

My daughter's, grandson and I went dress shopping for her Wedding and found a beautiful wedding dress for under a 100.00 The head piece she is wearing was her great, great grandmothers. Thank you Dillard's for being so wonderful and making my daughter's and I cry happy tears. I can't wait to see her walking down the isle. Thank you to the employees for taking such great care of us, you are all truly wonderful. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Desert Sky Mall still is somewhat popular in the West Valley. Has all the major shops and Mercados for pretty much everything you want. I occasionally go there but it's always been a good experience.

Jewels Ivy

It's cool to walk around for about an hour so.Needs to be updated and more stores in my opinion.
