Only a few stores in the available footprint. Sentry hardware is a good bit more expensive vs. Fairbanks offerings, but if you need a few things I'm willing to pay the higher price. Other places are "beauty salons", a Ben Franklin craft store, access to safeway and mediocre public restrooms (inside safeway door). GCI phone/Cable/Internet. Typically during the colder months a few high school aged "couples" tend to hang out. Nothing problematic. 2017 Spring roof was really leaking, just to highlight the quality of the facility you could expect. Parking lot on the south side typically requires monster tires and 4wd, due to the potholes and puddles (sentry hardware entrance). If you live in North Pole you probably live this place as i do. All in all, friendly staff in the stores I visit and typically the parts I need to get the job done. Gun counter is prompt to ask if you need assistance, but NP charges sales tax, you can get better prices and tax free in FBX.

This is a place that is MUST visit if u come to Fairbanks Alaska. Winter time is best as u have the snow on the ground to help u get into the Christmas spirit. They have ice carving contest that are totally unbelievable to look at. You cannot put into words the beauty of Alaska in the winter. Its so BEAUTIFUL.

Good little shopping center in North Pole, AK. They have a very nice Safeway, hardware store, variety/craft store, hair salon, nail salon and more. The safeway had a great liquor store and good souvenir section. They had a good produce section too.

So... this place has way more going on than may appear from the outside. From holiday bazaars to State of Alaska open houses to the random Chamber of Commerce raffle drawing, there is almost always something going on!

Lots of loud, drunk people in the army. One night they even set off the fire alarm at 4 in the morning. Other than them it was a nice stay.

I shop here at the Safeway all the time. I also buy from the hardware store, and Franklin's there too for supplies for display and packaging my beaded jewelry. Plus in the winter they have a Crafters Bazaar in December that is fun during the fireworks lighting ceremony.

Sorta sad has like 3 stores and I only ever see one or 2 open at a time. The hardware store at the end though has a surprising amount of stuff that isnt necessarily hard to find but not always in stock other places. And they have some rarities like metal stock for making shims.

North pole Plaza is mostly empty. There is the Safeway at one end and the hardware store at the other. There is a Ben Franklin store by Safeway. There is a Taylor shop and places to get hair and nails done.

When I heard I was going to the North Pole this year I was very excited. I was ready to bring my dictionary of presents so Santa would give me all my presents but as it turns out, this place is a mall. I was a little mad so I called my friend the tooth fairy. It was a little hard but I managed to knock out my dad's tooth. I put it under my pillow and waited. Finally, the tooth fairy came and I explained to her what my parents had done, tricking me into believing that I was going to meet Santa. My parents are dead now and I live with a stranger I met on the street a year ago. For some reason he always wants me to shoot people in the head with a toy gun. He says they are acting but I am not so sure because they are always a little red when I shoot it. Well, that is what happened to me when I went to the North Pole. Hope you have a good time as well.

The hardware store here sucks. The owner is a very mean guy. Who always thinks everyone is stealing. I went in to buy a few things and he would not stop watching me. Ended up just walking out without anything will not return. Plus staff was not very knowledgeable about anything either. It's like they just try to rush you out of the store. Made me feel very uncomfortable.
