I love this mall. It has different levels and jyst about anything you want. Kids could ice skate while you shop. Some after kids get out of school take them all to the YMCA. The kids can swim or play basketball, work out with weights, whatever they choose while mom soaks in a salt bath. After you are done, all take showers. Then eat from one of the many excellent eateries and you can just about guarantee kids are ready for bed. And dad is happy and mom is relaxed. A win win!

This mall has come a long way from a decade ago. It's actually quite nice with good stores and food, not big so you don't end up with a bunch of foot traffic to navigate around.

A regular mall. With the exception of REI most tenants aren't super impressive. Solid food options though and the market is nice.

While this is not a mall I go to just to wander around, it does have some shops/restaurants that I like to go to on occasion (such as SteamDot coffee). It sounds like there are a lot of changes in store at this time, and I am eager to see how these will change the overall vibe of this space. I love the indoor farmers market a couple of times a week. Not only is it open during the winter, but it also encourages me to go look around the mall, which I probably would not do otherwise.

Was a cool mall in the 90-2002 then started to fail. Now has bought new businesses in (burgerfi, steamboat, guitar center, Nordstrom rack, and REI outlet) still cool spots inside like hallmark, lemon tree, and farmer's market.

Walmart I might get a good job on a chicken a lot better than Fred Meyers they wanted three little pieces for $7.98 at Fred Meyer's I got a whole bunch at Walmart for or $7.98 about eight pieces of chicken now that's a good deal

This mall is finally starting to look like a real place of business now. The shops are filling up. The last 2 weeks of February they always have a ametur photo contest. (it's for Fur Ronda.) Anyway nice and clean doesn't look like a homeless shelter anymore.

The mall is looking better all the time. The new improvements are a big plus. REI moving in was a huge boost. They have events there all the time. Local market type activities weekly. They even have craft shows from time to time.

Went to lanes crafters for a replacement part. They didnt ha e it but sent me across the street to a small optical shop that did. The manager was super nice and gave me the warranty card for Maui Jim even though they dont carry the brand any longer. Also did a great job cleaning my glasses...highly recommended

Located on the corner of Benson and Denali. Now housing REI, new and expanded. Old Sears Mall location--A staple in Anchorage Alaska since I can remember. It is still the same building just without Sears. It's has many of the same shops and the layout is pretty much the same. I like it because it's not so crowded and it has much of what you need, including food court, phone services, restaurants, coffee shops, REI, haircuts shoes etc.

Wow the Midtown Mall has changed considerably in the year or more that I have been absent from there REI has taken over the old Cars store and they did a great job. I love the new look. The rest of the mall is getting an update and it looks Great. Looks like Cars store is going back in where part of the old Sears store was. Looks like construction will continue for the next few months. Might all be done buy Mid 19 but unsure about that. There are some great stores there now. Men's clothing, nail shop, a great coffeehouse, great fast food and juice bar. With others as well.

JCP is a great store and a huge selection of clothing and housewares! Staffing is thin but they are extremely helpful. You just have to have some patience.

Between Carr's/Safeway closing a couple of years ago, and Sears just recently, the only reason I come here is to eat at the BurgerFi restaurant. There is talk about Carr's reopening at this mall. I'd like to see them succeed as it's a great location for those of us who live and work in the Midtown Anchorage area. Barnes and Noble is also practically next door. Fred Meyers is just down the street.
