Told my husband they could help unlock passenger door on my husband's car, we drove 85 miles one way, had to wait 3 hours for the locksmith to return to the shop, just to have him tell us that he wouldn't touch the car, have to take it to a dealer. Total of 6.5 hours plus gas, for nothing but attitude.

I always get excellent service here. Made the mistake of going to a big box home-improvement store to get a bunch of keys cut, just because they're a shorter drive. None of the keys worked. (You get what you pay for...) So, I took them down to the guys at The Lock Shop to see if they could salvage them - and they managed to fix them all! The Lock Shop guys are extremely knowledgeable, and seem to have at least one of anything you could ever need in that shop.

I have been here multiple times for multiple things. Every time they've been friendly knowledgeable and efficient. One time I had to have them fix keys that ford cut wrong and tried to get me to pay for a new ignition switch. So in seconds fixed what ford used to rip me off and programed in just a few minutes.

Hands down the best lock shop around! Had keys made for a car, didn't fit. Owner came out at 730 at night to try and file a key for me. Next day they had multiple working copies. Cheaper than anybody in town, way more helpful and actually care about their customers.

During an out-of-state visit, we lost the only key to our Toyota Prius the day before our scheduled departure. The technician made an 80 mile roundtrip drive out to assess the vehicle, then made a 120 mile trip to acquire the special fob required for our vehicle. She made a service call and a special trip, reprogrammed the computer and fob, cut the key, and got us on the road the same day, for 1/3 the cost and time that the nearby dealership had estimated. I can't recommend the Lock Shop highly enough!

Terrible service. I took a car key into the lock shop to have it copied. The guy cut my key and took my money and after I tried the key it did not work at all. I took the key back in and explained it did not work. The same guy complains about my key and his machines and tries again. He then follows me out to my car stating that they need to start denying people copied keys. He attempts the cut key in my door and it works but not in the ignition. He says well you will need a new key and left my sight. I apologized for the trouble and did not receive a refund or a sorry it didn't work. I took the key home and used a file to modify the key a little more and now the key works with a little jiggle first. I will be seeking a real locksmith to see if it can be saved. Thanks for nothing, "The Lock Shop of Cheyenne". Will not ever go back to this place.

Exemplary service and attitude no matter how far or what the job is they do it not only professionally but with honest happiness. Someone who loves his job is what comes to mind when I think of Andy, and someone who is beyond competent. He knows his trade well and I would say is a master locksmith. Don't hesitate to call them if you have a job you need done. If they are unable for whatever reason he usually has someone to recommend that can and the recommendation is of the top notch quality. (Only Job he has turned down was an item under warranty. Although able to do the work his integrity and keeping your warranty valid is too important to risk instead he recommended a certified company on the list of approved vendors getting it done just as fast as he would of..) I rarely give 5 stars as few companies can offer the complete and total package of knowledge, price, speed, customer service, and reliability. This company so far has been the exception. And they throw in the most important trait for free.... Integrity! Hope you give them a shot. I was happy I did and will continue using this company well into the future.
