So I went to court ended up leaving my car keys in my car I was in a rush and as soon as I left court I realized I didn't have my keys and I called Racine lock and key 2049 Taylor Avenue #4 Racine Wisconsin 53403 and they responded very quickly very reasonable prices very nice gentleman I will recommend this locksmith to anyone in the Racine area Milwaukee area wherever they service locksmithing very nice people very good quote as well I paid $40 and they came quickly no damage done to my car whatsoever

When you advertise on your website $30 for the service call and $25 to unlock the car, and the bill comes to $125, there's something wrong here. Very unhappy. The technician, an independent contractor, however was kind, friendly, etc. Buyer beware

Called to have someone come out. The dispatcher/scheduler said they would have the technician call me shortly. After 45 minutes of no response, I called again. A second message was sent to the technician to call me and come out. Again, after about 40 min I called. Upon me saying I wanted to cancel since I called another company and they were enroute, the dispatcher/scheduler said she was never able to get ahold of the technician. So I was waiting for an hour and a half for nothing. I have to note that the dispatcher/scheduler was very nice and apologized for not having a responsive technician. I was still frustrated that she didn’t try to call me back to say they didn’t have someone after such a long wait time. This could have been an off day for them since they seem to have pretty good reviews overall.

Zack returned call quickly and even though he was an hour away he is willing to cover a large area. He called and told me when he got stuck in traffic on a two lane highway on a Friday afternoon. Zack knows what he is doing. He asked for a photo of my lock so he had the right equipment with him. However I forgot to specify brass hardware and he brought nickel so my doorknob and lock don't match. My fault. He brought me a better quality deadbolt than I had previously and he kept true to the price he quoted on the phone. Would definitely recommend Zack and would use him again if needed.

Zack worked very quickly and was very polite, but did not explain prices clearly, it ended up costing $307 to re-key four doors and unlock a bedroom we were locked out of. Instead of picking the lock, he pried the door open and split the wood on the door frame, so now that needs fixing too. I could have replaced all of the locks and broken down my own door for less than half the cost.
