Due to a misunderstanding I recently posted a bad review about this business...I was unaware that they sometimes contract work out to other Locksmiths/Businesses when necessary....and I happened to be the recipient of a bad one. I had a problem the very next day with the key and called Lockstar and spoke with the owner about the previous incident as well. He was very apologetic and helpful . He assisted me with the new problem....and we began speaking at length about customer service, their valued reputation etc. He assured me that the company who performed the service will no longer be used..and I agreed to give Lockstar another try! Hopefully Not soon:]!

Locked out of an apartment with a strong dead bolt on it. Called and they had a locksmith out to my place in fifteen minutes. Very easy and simple. The locksmith got my door open with ease.

the price was fair compared to other places, the work was quick, but the phone services was horrible I called and the guy had a bit of a rude tone but he told me the price and that the wait will be approximately thirty minutes,cool. So as time goes by I'm coming up to waiting a full hour and my phones almost dead I call again to let him now my exact location and position in the parking lot but the guy still had the rude tone and to someone who is frustrated for locking there keys and their car it sound like he wanted nothing to do with my business, at that point I want to cancel and call a different place, but unfortunately my phone was just about dead so I continued to wait. I called one last time off of a different phone the same guy picked up but he sounded more agitated that I called for a third time and told me his guy would be there in five minutes, I knew he was lying but okay.....finally after be out for over two hours I finally was able to get in my car.......moral of the story I learned to get a spare key made and keep my phone charged

Milwaukee Lockstar blew me away. The customer service was unbelievable. The man who took care of making me a key after a terrible day of getting my bag stolen from work (which had my keys to everything inside) showed up in less than 20 minutes, took the time to help me get my car home, fixed my ignition, then when my car wouldn't start, he stuck around to jump start my car for me. This company is the real deal, they didn't charge me an arm and a leg and were so great about everything. Thanks guys, you're fantastic.

I lost Bluetooth fob for keyless entry and pushbutton start. Someone came within the hour. Reasonable price compared to having it towed to a dealership and waiting for everything plus using precious vacation time. The company is also very responsive to any questions or concerns and makes good effort for customer experience.

They are NOT 24/7. They cancelled on me after I waited around for an hour. They said they couldn't get out to me until four days later, yes really. Terrible service. Try Hanen Locksmith, they were way more professional, helpful and came out right away.

I was locked out of my house with my daughter after a long day at work. I was extremely frustrated and thought the process would take forever. I called and within just15 minutes someone was at my house unlocking my door for me! They were wonderful! Definitely not the people you want to call, but if I ever have to call a locksmith again I will be calling Lock star! Wouldn't recommend anyone else!

When I locked my keys in my car today I didn't know who to call. I googled "Milwaukee locksmith" & the first number I called was 1-800-LOCKSMITH. My call was answered immediately. I was told that the technician would be immediately on his way at my location in roughly 20 minutes. To my surprise, the locksmith was there in 15 minutes! The technician showed up, was very polite & nice to me while he was quoting me. The quote he gave me was definitely fair for the work that was done. The work he did was done very well & also in a fast, but fashionable amount of time. Overall, I am definitely completely satisfied with the service from Milwaukee Lockstar LLC. Definitely giving them 5 stars!! :) Thanks guys!

Terrible unreliable service. First did not give me a price up front. Even when asked. They took hour's to show. I had to follow up with them. When they did show made a no fob key for 150.00 without informing me that it would not be a fob key. Did not have a matching fob replacement key on the truck and took a $35 service fee and gave me nothing. Poor customer service!

I asked him to leave and called Lockstar. They quoted me a price, arrived at my house quickly, and stuck to the initial quote. I am very satisfied with Lockstar's service.

I called to ask about having a key cut for a motorcycle when I lost the original. I was quoted about $125, and that's if I would bring the ignition in myself, which I had offered to do. The guy suggested I could call around, but that that was a good price. Called A-1 Security Locksmith on Fond du Lac and had it done for $45. Saved me the extra cost and time of getting a new ignition/gas cap/helmet lock set on ebay. Other reviewers seem to be accurate in claiming that Lockstar is overpriced.

RIP OFF ALERT!!!!! I asked what the cost would be for getting into my car. The person on the phone said $35 + labor. THEY CHARGED $75 LABOR!!! This is $50 more than most locksmiths charge for a car lock out.

Something about this place feels shady. Eight weeks ago I had an emergency need to replace my locks (purse stolen w/ keys, ID etc) and they came out in the middle of the night which was fine. But now the tumbler is broken. I looked at the receipt to call them but it's just blank, no name, no number. Only by digging through all my phone records was I able to determine who I called. The credit card invoice just shows "Professional Lo".. no name. Now, despite making an appointment with a 1-hour window for the repair no one has shown up. I called and they're "busy" with other jobs. When I asked who I was speaking to they won't tell me their name. Said they'd call before coming out.That was 2 hours ago, no word yet. This business is a scam.

The guy was able to get me into my house very quickly, a simple picking of the lock. My doorknob then stopped working (got jammed) but he was able to come back out and fix the part that was broken which made me feel better about the overall service.

I decided to take care of an outside entrance door in my duplex that had missing keys for a few months. I called Lockstar from the phone book and was very pleased that the gentleman was able to come take care of it in an hour after my call. I thought that I just needed the lock to be rekeyed, but he explained to me that without the keys the whole lock needed to be replaced. He had a lock set with him and installed it in about 15 minuets. I am very happy that my problem was solved in a short time by an efficient and knowledgeable person. Highly recommend.
