Excellent customer service I have a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac and couldn’t get a key made from Ford because my truck is over ten yrs old n they can’t look up key codes for car/trucks over ten yrs old so I called AAA who then connected me with locks and unlocks who came out and was able to make my key with in a hr HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I recently had Jake from Locks and Unlocks make some keys for my daughters car. The keys she had only worked on one side and then it took some fussing to get them to work. I purchased a used Honda Pilot but it only came with one key. I initially went to get a key made from the auto parts store and found that they couldn't do it since it was a "smart key." I was not terribly familiar with these but quickly learned how hard it is to find someone to make a copy (other than the dealer who wants to charge an arm and a leg). Jake was able to help me out and save a ton of money. He had my key cut and programmed in less than 15 minutes. He also tested both sets of keys and remotes to make sure everything was working properly; which was great as I had read horror stories online of people that get a smart key made and something goes wrong with the original. Jake was very professional and was excellent to work with. If you need a smart key made, skip the dealer and save some money by going with Locks and Unlocks instead. I highly recommend this business.

After trying the Toyota dlrshp, a professional locksmith, and a mobile service all in Denver months ago,, my car ignition key was still not working properly,, and after roadtrip to Midwest, car literally got stuck, key not turning over the ignition, on a lot in Madison,WI. I can’t recommend Locks and Unlocks enough. Hertz and Hyundai said would take weeks and thousands of dollars to get into the trunk of my rental, Locks and Unlocks did it in less than 15 minutes and at a great price. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. They were fast, knowledgeable, polite, and well-priced. They were suggested by an AAA tech who said they were the best in town, and I believe it.

AMAZING!! He helped me at 10pm on a Friday night to get my keys out of my car and was at my car within 30 minutes after calling. He was also incredibly kind, helpful, and respectful. It was such a great experience and made locking my keys in my car a little better. I'd give 100 stars if I could! Additionally, he made me another key copy which took maybe 2 mins :)

On a sunny Sunday afternoon, my partner and I did a funny and locked ourselves out of our house in Sun Prairie, WI. After exhausting all options, we decided it was time to call a professional. Surprised we were at the difficulty to find a place that was a) open and b) responsive. After digging around, (Google wasn't immediately showing us Locks and Unlocks) we came across this business and were relieved to get Matt Butler on the the line. I had the pleasure of calling Jake from Locks and Unlocks yesterday. I had a lock that I had lost the key for and was not sure with to do. I called Jake and he came right out to my place of work and said he would take a look and that he had not seen a lock like this before. I left the item with him and went back inside my work. I no more then sat down at my desk and was called to the front again. I was thinking the worse as I walked to the front, I saw Jake standing there with good news. He was able to open the lock. The door handle on my apartment broke while taking my dog out potty on the coldest evening I think I've ever experienced. Called the apartment company and waited a half hour and called back. Said maintenance was yet to call back. Contacted L&U inc and Matt was my way within 15 minutes and we were back inside in 20. Great service and very reasonably priced! Maintenance got here about 30 minutes after Matt left to replace the handle if anyone reading this was wondering.

What a great experience! Jake was able to program a new fob so I could start my push-button ignition AND laser cut the "emergency" physical key for the door. I emailed Jake at locksandunlocks to inquire about the cost of getting a key made. My wife and I bought a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, and we wanted a key that we could take with us on lakes and rivers. We didn't want to risk getting our OEM key fob wet. I wanted a key that would at least unlock the door even if it didn't start the vehicle. Jake was able to cut 2 keys that unlock the door and start the vehicle for us. I will be honest, at the price he quoted us - 1/5 the cost of another locksmith, I didn't think the keys would work, but they did. Jake is out of Stoughton, but he was in Madison for a job, so he was able to meet my wife near our home to cut the keys for us.

I was locked out of my house on a Friday evening after the key broke off in the door lock. I called Locks and Unlocks and they were at my house in less than 10mins (I also live in Stoughton) and Matt was able to get the broken key out of the lock, make me a new key from the broken key, and even greased the inside of the lock for me so that I wouldn't have to keep fighting to get my key to work. He was a joy to talk with while he fixed all of my problems as well. I will never lose their card in case I ever need lock help again!
