Brian was great to work with. He spent two days working on making a key for our 1985 Yamaha Virago motorcycle. He was great, prompt, and definitely got the problem solved after we misplaced our one/only key. Thank you! Definitely would recommend you give them a call for a trusted locksmith. And certainly they get a double thumbs up for having this expertise on motorcycle work. Ps. The 2011 Lexus SL460 that I purchased used, came with only one remote transponder key. The dealership would charge $380 to create a new one. American Locksmiths offered to do the job for $200, guaranteed to work. To save me a longer trip to his store,the owner offered to meet me after hours at 9PM nearer to my home, and cut a new key. Then he quickly programed the remote transponder. After thorough testing, the owner found that one function would not work perfectly. He then proceeded to spend 3 hours in the rain reprogramming, over and over, several additional remotes, testing all the chip circuits, studying the onboard progrogramming in the Lexus etc In spite of his best efforts, a perfectly working remote was not possible. (handsfree unlocking still wouldn't work on the new unit) American Locksmiths was willing to call it a night and make no charge at all for three hours of work. Instead, I proposed that I would accept the nearly perfect remote at a $50 dollar reduction in cost. My offer was happily accepted. He offered to do more research into the problem and correct the remaining problem if a solution was possible. This company is knowledgeable and honest and willing to go the extra mile to try to do a perfect job. I will use them again if the need arises.

I called this establishment at 3:43p on 02/27. I gave the employee my year/make/model and asked if he could program a key that needed to be programmed, NOT cloned, and for which I had a chipped key. The employee asked me question after question instead of just looking it up with the information I provided like the other 6 vendors were able to do that I called. Finally, when I said, "Yes, dude! And that's like your 10th question already!" he hung up on me. If you want to be asked a bunch of irrelevant questions by a guy who just doesn't want to look up whether they can program your vehicle's key, this is the place for you.

This guy is the biggest moron. He has keys laying around all over, cannot remember which one was yours, had him make 3 keys and only 2 work fully, but don’t want to go back to him because it would take hours if you can catch him in the store. Nice guy, but really? He needs someone to organize him. You will know what I am talking about when you walk into the store and see keys laying all over the place with no rhyme or reason.

Stopped in to have a key made for my pick up and was satisfied with the service that I was rendered, even being greeted by the locksmiths dog which was glad to get some affection in return...who doesn't like domesticated dogs? The key was only priced at five dollars and tested right there for work ability... I would highly recommend Brian's work to anybody needing locksmith services. He happened to be out on a call when I arrived so I called him on my cell phone to let him know what I needed and only had to wait a short period of time...

I had visited the place to get a simple job of making a duplicate key done. The guy over the counter (with specs) was fiddling with some lock and did not even acknowledge our presence. We stood there for over 5 minutes but still got no response as if we were invisible. Most discourteous store I have seen so far in Waukesha.

I just happened to walk in on Saturday when he was around and he was able to get me a second key and program it right away. Brian was friendly and courteous and even gave me my key code to have on file if I ever need to get my key cut somewhere else. Also, he had the cutest shop puppy, Ollie.

I own a Honda, the key would not turn AT ALL, and I was stuck at work. A friend of mine suggested American Locksmith. I called and the guy was out of town until Thursday....of course he was! (LOL). I called Wednesday night to leave a message and to my great surprise the gentleman answered! Within two hours the guy was at my work, working on my car!! Not only was he honest, he came to my car, so no tow and he had a flat rate for his hard work. I was so impressed by his knowledge and skills I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for all your key/ignition issues!! Thank you American Lock!! You are the best!

Lost the only key I had for an old kawasaki motorcycle. Was going to cost me an arm and a leg to replace lock set/ignition. He was able to very quickly make me a new key from scratch for only 50 bucks! Do recommend this shop.

Spoke with Brian about programming the fobs I had gotten for a new car. He said come on up and I can program and cut the keys for you. Ran up there, he was able to program and cut the keys for the 2 fobs. Would highly recommend. I really wasn't sure how this all works, as I had never had a vehicle with a proximity sensor to start the car, he knew what needed to be done, and did it very quickly and I felt the price was very fair. He was very pleasant and I definitely will be back. Thanks again Brain!!!
