I inquired about a new key for my vehicle at the hardware store and they quoted $80 to over $100. I called Precision and they quoted $42. I went got a new key made in about 5 minutes and the total was $44. They were very nice and had a sense of urgency. Highly recommend.

Bought $144 key for my car, broke in a year, they will not replace or give any discount to fix. Very dissatisfied, the guy working told me "I should not have bought the cheap one", $144 really!!! The owner was happy to let me go, recommended another local locksmith, must be nice.

What a rip -off, and bigot smug employees, them being the only locksmith in the area, and they know it, charge an arm and a leg for any work from minor to major. same keys cost 1/10 of what these thieves charge in any other city. will never go there again and never call them again. Edit: Ace Hardware can do the same job if not better for less than half the cost, with friendly helpful people working there.

I don't know how much money I saved by coming here vs a dealer but I'm sure it was significant! Very friendly, they let me bring my dog and kid inside while getting a 2nd car key made. The locksmith gave me some tips on how to prevent the key from breaking (it's a common issue b/c I've seen people complain about it on forums). They had a fun assortment of keys, keyrings, locks, and safes that my daughter enjoyed browsing! I would def recommend them if you're looking for a locksmith.

I stopped in today to get a duplicate house key made, and on the spur of the moment, inquired about a duplicate car key. I had been driving for years with only one car key because the dealership wanted a ridiculous amount of money to make another. The staff at Precision was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and made both keys in under 15 minutes. Plus, the total came out to about half of what the dealership would charge. I will definitely use Precision again and highly recommend them.

Highly recommend this company. We are in Florida and have a property in Harrisonburg and needed a locksmith ASAP. They were there within the hour and preformed the work quickly and as requested sent us the extra keys to Florida. This was done on Friday 6/8 it is now Monday, 6/11 and we even received the extra keys! TOP NOTCH, Highly recommend!

We got a phone call from Precision locksmith on 12/27/2016 wanting to know if we needed any keys cut. We said yes, we have a 2007 Chevy Cobalt with a key broke in the ignition. We could drive the car just fine with the stub of the broken key. There tech comes in with 2 new keys that don't turn the ignition. Know we are going to have the car tow dollied to the dealer to have the lock cylinder replaced for free under a recall. They should have never messed with it if they know what they were doing. Then the comes through the front door and said, well the car going to have to go to the dealer because we don't do lock cylinder work. The states he would give us a discount from $125.00 to $100.00. I sad wow this is nice. Now we have a $175 tow bill. Don't ever call or come by here for any future business. Gasoline alley auto and truck sales
