I called to get my lock changed and they came on time. I need them change at 7pm when I got home from work and they came immediately. I am very impressed with the level of customer service they provide. The guy was very nice and pleasant but overall he was fast and efficient. I am super happy and would recommend them to anyone. Plus he gave me extra keys free of charge.

Jim and his son Patrick showed up at my parents house of which my brother and myself bought my parents new dead bolts and locks for all the doors. Both Jim and Patrick re-keyed existing locks and installed the dead bolts. They did a fantastic job, had great conversation with both while they were here the whole time. Patrick actually even fixed an existing 30+ year old door handle inside the house for no extra cost. Was a great experience and I tipped them well for their services. Highly suggest these folks for ANY locksmith service.

I needed a locksmith to install a deadbolt on my door. I called Jim up and he was extremely polite and set up an appointment right away. He kept me in the loop to when he would arrive. He is extremely professional and his work was quick and efficient. I would recommend him to anyone in the Stamford area who is in need a locksmith. I asked him if he can reduce little he told NO. Then I called Jim, he asked me to send the pics and gave the quote of $260 for repair ... he came with in hour and repaired it... also he made 4 keys for free

On his way to a job, Jim examined a series of pictures I sent him and walked me through a process to fix the issue, free of charge. I called this company for a duplicate key for my business. The guy who answered was EXTREMELY RUDE! Ask me if I was serious looking for a locksmith to make a duplicate key?? He told me to go to a hardware store! I have never been treated so rudely!!! If I wanted to spend my money with a locksmith why would he deter me??? DO NOT DO NOT USE A1 Locksmith

Jim was prompt (he actually arrived before I did!) and professional. The price he quoted me over the phone is exactly what I paid (plus tax, but that's a given), plus he did a little extra and fixed the door jamb because of a missing strike plate that I didn't even realize was causing issues!! And the cost wasn't bad at all to begin with. He was polite and efficient and my door is now working better than it ever has before! I would recommend A1 to anyone with door/lock issues and if I ever need such services again, I know who I'll be calling!!

We needed our locks changed quickly last evening. Called A-1 because they list their address as well as phone number on their website. (The internet is full of locksmiths with only a phone number). They came the same day I called and even came early!! They were professional and quoted the price to make the repairs before they even started work. I had used other locksmiths before and A-1 was not as expensive and they were very neat and honest. Called A1 (Jim) via a random internet search for Stamford locksmith and he was the first to answer the phone. Very professional. After going thru various detailed questions on phone as well as exchanging texts/photos/measurements of the old Baldwin mortise lock we have on our front house door (plus other door drilling and passage handle install we needed done), Jim came back shortly after to give me a price, parts specs, and thankfully a same day install window. He & his son were right on time. Install was quick, he cleaned up with shop vac and left no mess or bits of materials here & there. Price was exactly as quoted, no upcharge or unexpected "extras." With good tradesmen who know their business, you get what you pay for: years of experience and the tools, supplies and product in stock (as in, it's right in the van) to get the job done. We texted to the wrong number. 30 minutes later when he still hadn't received the photos (we said we'd send the right away), he called to ask if we still needed his services. We were very grateful since we would never had realized our error. Jim asked if he could come right over and we were thrilled. Jim is a very nice guy. He was efficient, concerned about keeping our property clean as he worked, fixed our lock in under 30 minutes, and charged exactly what he initially quoted.
