I attempted to buy a safe in December through Baldinos. The order wasn't placed with Liberty Safes until February/March for production. Even with steady calls to the business it wasn't until I had to call the factory directly that I found out what the story was.
I made calls to check in on the order beginning in January, every couple weeks to get an update. The safe wasn't produced until the end of April. This past week I got the call to schedule delivery (now 5 months into the transaction). Unfortunately, Liberty sent the wrong safe to them Baldinos still asked if I wanted to accept the delivery. I declined.
I called and expressed my frustration that 5 months after paying for a safe I still had nothing to show for it. They only offered to give me a free light bar for the safe (which is what, $50?). I asked for free delivery, but they did not move on that suggestion.
Throughout speaking with the various employees, my impression was they weren't terribly concerned that I was having so many issues. In the past few days they called to say Liberty could reproduce the safe and get one out to me in June as if they were doing me the favor, but that conversation had already been had by me directly with the factory sales rep.
The only positive I can say that came out of it was when I told them I wanted a refund to take my business elsewhere, they agreed rather quickly and stated they would process the request. (Which I’m still waiting for )
No one was ever rude while speaking to me, but not once did I feel like they were trying to do right by the customer.
