I called around to many places (dealers, auto repair shops and locksmiths) to get quotes on cutting and programming keys for my car and these guys were BY FAR the most reasonably priced and friendliest. Well I can see my experience is not unique as these guys already have great reviews. My mom locked herself out right across the street from their shop. They came right over and got her back in. [AKA Jon's Lock & Key] - Great Staff, Awesome Service. They were able to replicate a key that was a millimeter from snapping in half after a failed replicating attempt at Home Depot. Will be going here from now on for all key issues. If you need a key made, don't waste your time with Home Depot, Lowe's, or Walmart - I found them to be useless 95% of the time.

They can help with anything from making keys, helping you find the right safe for your needs (they have many in stock), to ensuring your business is safe and secure (camera’s/alarm systems), and have solutions for locks that can be opened with a FOB or even a mobile device. And their install teams are onsite at the scheduled time! No service windows or endless waiting.

Unfortunately the key they ordered for me was somewhat shoddy. They even tried to fix the shoddy work of the spring clip for me. In the end I didn't make the purchase. I took a working deadbolt in to get keyed and paid $16 to find out the deadbolt had been broken after I got it back. No one said a word or offered a new deabolt and now I have to buy a new deadbolt. DONT use this service! There's nothing "Pro" about them.

I was looking for one of those fancy-schmancy digital deadbolts that you can unlock from the Internet when it occurred to me: "how much security was I forgoing for a little convenience?" A little research confirmed my suspicions and led me to Medeco, a brand of deadbolt that is head and shoulders above the rest. Looking for a local retailer brought me to Pro Security Products. Their professionals agree: Medeco is the deadbolt to go with. Installation was professional and delivered when promised. The new deadbolts look nice, send an immediate message to a would-be intruder, and are sturdy and secure. A few things to keep in mind: because of the number of permutations of deadbolts (backset length, finish, single vs. double cylinder, etc.) don't expect them to have every possible combination in stock, so it may be a little bit for them to order your specific deadbolt. Second, this isn't a $9.95 Home Depot special. They're expensive, but they're worth it. Finally, bring your existing deadbolt in with you or at least know whether it's a 2 3/8 or 2 3/4 backset. Medeco deadbolts are not a convenience product and don't come with a "one size fits all" backset. One additional bonus: for doors with windows, consider a deadbolt with a removable thumbturn. The security of a key-lock on the inside with the convenience of a thumbturn.

Great people, easy location, fair prices, and the best lock and key experts around. I needed a key for my car made, and keys with transponder chips were expensive at local hardware stores, and were cheap chinese aftermarket knockoffs. Pro Security lock and key allowed me to purchase my own key (Nissan Official) and were able to get me programmed and cut at 1/3 the cost of the dealership. This place is an easy recommend.

Service is great, prices are reasonable and well below what there competitors quoted for the electronic fob programming that originally took me to them. They are my go to place now. Dominic was the employee who I worked with and was impressive. Little disappointed with this place. I was super excited when I called over the phone to explain what I was needing. I gave them the year make and model of my car and exactly what I needed. I was provided a quote on how much it would be for what I explained I was looking for and I was super stoked that I found somewhere to make my a copy of my key. As soon as I walked in the door, the guys were not very friendly at all. I explained what I needed and they almost immediately shut me down. As having made a copy of my key before I knew that it was possible. They made me my key and once they were ringing me out, told me almost triple what I was quoted over the phone. A little frustrated, i tried explaining the situation and all the guy could say was that he has been doing this for 23 yrs and its been the same price for those 23 yrs. I felt very disrespected as a potential customer and that just because I was in need of only a car key that they didn't care to help me or want my business. Sad thats how my first experience was with this company because I would rather give a local business my business than going to Lowes or Home Depot or a dealership for a key.

This review does not speak to products or services, rather, it speaks to my personal experience with the people who work there and how they represent themselves out in public and when dealing with a complaint. I was driving my daughter to school one morning, coming down Trasverse Ridge Rd. A Pro Security Products van tailgated me from Highland Dr all the way down into Draper, leaving less than a few feet between our vehicles. Knowing the danger of how closely he was to my vehicle I firmly braked in hope the employee would give apropriate space, which must have enraged the employee behind the wheel. Because he began to drive more agressively and even tighter to the back of my truck. Arriving to the intersection at the bottom of the hill, I moved from the far left lane to the far right lane in order to get to my daughter's school. The van then weaved through traffic, cutting off others to ensure to follow me and even though I had created 100 yards of space, he rapidly flew up behind us again... leaving less than a couple of feet between our vehicles. I again braked firmly as I turned into the school. I thought the employee would then simply drive away and head off to irritate some other drivers. Nope! This employee proceeded to do circles at the entrance to the school in what could only be taken as a threatening gesture. You must understand, 300 east on the road outside of the school is a tiny 2 lane road, yet this employee couldn't have cared less for the children, the law or his actions. The employee eventually chose to drive away when I entered the school. I then decided to contact the office of Pro Security and described the situation to the man who answered the phone. He seemed apologetic, and asked me if I wouldn't mind if he had the employee call me to say sorry. Lol... I accepted the gesture from the man on the phone and regardless, never heard another word from the company or employee. Please have this review of the employees in mind the next time you consider calling Pro Security Products. As I told the guy on the phone, this situation could have gotten their company on the news, and not in a good way. Legally armed parents are not to be messed with. The lack of follow up tells me this behavior is deemed acceptable by the company. Be cautious of who you give access to your home and vehicles. Thanks for reading my review. Avoid this company!

Dave just walked out and it is 11:30 at night. He was smiling in a good mood and appreciative of my business. He is an honest guy and you can tell right when you meet him.

Wow! What great service! I moved in my place about two months ago. Got some copies of my keys, yet the copies didn't seem to fit all that great so I put off getting new copies. Came home, put my purse and phone on the steps, went back outside to grab more things from my car and bam, locked myself out. After attempting a YouTube try to pick my lock and running out of options and patience, my neighbor recommended Pro Security. They were amazing! After calling, someone arrived in about ten minutes, took about 15 minutes and he was done. The locksmith also did some work on my copied keys and added some oil to the locks and then all of the copied keys were working beautifully. He didn't charge me anything extra and he also refused a tip. I will most certainly use them again and I would recommend Pro Security to anyone!
