As soon as you walk in to Glens, you know it’s not an ordinary locksmith. I own a 25-y.o. car with a single copy of a beat up key. When Todd first tried to copy that key for me, it didn’t work. The second time didn’t work, either. On his third attempt, he spent a full 20 minutes re-shaping that same key until it worked. I’ve never seen anyone work that hard for a single transaction of only $4.99. But for these guys it’s not about the money—it’s about customer service. They may be a hair more expensive than big retailers, but I can guarantee that I would still only have a single working key for my car, had I gone anywhere but here.

Went in the first time to get keys cut. None of the keys worked .They said my ignition was the issue but I didn't know any of this until after they took it apart and then charged me 100 bucks. Came in again with some keys .The cut it but only one of the two worked and the one barely worked. Both got stuck in my ignition and would let it drive but wouldn't come out .Ridiculous won't be back .They suck at their job

I have used Glens key and have had a very frustrating time with them. I was in charge of having the new rear door keyed to match the other exterior doors at the place where I work. First off, I took the door to Glens on State Street and Todd and employee there put in the wrong pin and I couldn't get the lock to work Todd came out and he worked on it and realized what he had done wrong. I understand things happen. When I installed the door weeks later the tumbler didn't work for the owner and manager. So I called and talked to Todd at Glens and he thought about it and realized he didn't key the lock for the master key. I asked why and he said I told him to do it that way. I told him that the master key needs to open all the doors and in my mind that's what a master key does. It makes not sense, why would I want that? I didn't tell Todd to key the rear door that way. I need the master key to get me in the building and all the other doors. I think Todd was embarrassed for his boss to find out that he had done the lock wrong again, so he made up a story. Well Brian the manager or owner was not going to fix the problem with out a service call charge. They came out and fixed their error and it's now working but I wouldn't trust them at all to do anything for me. I got a new (to me) car the day before this and I needed to get keys for everyone in the family and I wouldn't even trust them for this easy task.

Todd is magical! Ordered keys to fit our Honda to replace the original two that were wearing out. But then when I went to get them programmed at a local dealership they said it was the wrong key and I needed to purchase entirely new ones. The strange part was that the key would open the door, but would not turn the ignition. Since I don't trust this dealership, I had another dealership take a look. They tried putting some lubricant on the key and it still would not turn. Still trying to save money, I tried Glens Lock and Key and the third time was a charm! Todd gave it a more forceful jiggle and the ignition turned just fine! Got both keys programmed for $50 and was back in the road again. Thanks, guys!

These guys know what they are doing. Another "locksmith" sait they could try and program my internet purchased fob for $55 but it might not work. Bruce was able to tell me that they could do it, and did it for less than that. Don't go to a dealership! Glens is awesome.

These guys were friendly, entertained my 3 year old while we waited, and were visibly enjoying their work. The Honda dealer quoted me $108 for a key copy, Glen’s quoted me $89 over he phone, and surprise- I was only charged $63! Honda also told me I would need to make a 1.5 hour appointment, and Glen’s had me in and out in 10 minutes. Excellent service!

I called ahead to verify they could make desk keys based on lock code. Roger checked and said he could. I drove over and he made two code-based keys for two locks. Chad handled the transaction. I went home and found only one worked. I called but Roger and Chad had left and the person on the phone said no problem, bring the bad key back the next day. I did, but then was told that they do not guarantee keys made without the lock. 1. Nobody said that beforehand. 2. Nobody said it when I called to say the key didn't work. Very disappointing.

My husband lost his Mazda key FOB and the Mazda dealer in town said it would be ~$270 to replace (buying the key FOB, then programming it). They also said that they were the only ones that could program it. Well, we decided to try to buy a FOB online (~$40) and have it cut and programmed at Glen's Key (recommended by another locksmith in town), and they were very upfront that it might not work because who knows the quality/authenticity of the online key. They said they could have a guaranteed key (without a FOB) for $80 or they could try to cut and program it for a total of $60, so we decided to try the second option. It happened to work out great for us, they were super quick at it (<10 minutes), and they were also very sweet to my little 2 year-old. Very grateful for their upfront honesty and kindness!!

What kind of business would be UNWILLING to help you fix an ignition and get you back on the road? Glenn’s key and lock is the place, come on in and their employee Jason will take 5 seconds to assume that it needs to be replaced and can not be repaired, they would need to order a new part. I then ask if they can disassembled the cylinder for me so I can start the vehicle and search for an new unit online, Jason said “We don’t do that here, find another locksmith.” Well Jason you can guarantee I will.

They might be a friendly place, but I feel ripped off by them. I called around to get quotes on getting a key made for a car I just bought and was only given one. I verified with 2 people the price I was given over the phone. I went in like I told them I would and they don't carry the key and the price in store was twice what they told me over the phone. I could go to the LEXUS dealership and get them made for cheaper. Won't recommend them to anyone!

I hate leaving negative reviews for local small businesses but here it goes. First off, there are two main guys that work there, one is very nice and helpful, the other is rude (guy with facial hair). I went in to get keys programed to my car and they ended up not being able to program the keys. My fault is I bought them online and they were junk. However, in the process of trying to get the keys set up, the guy erased the other keys. He asked if I was okay with this, and I said yes. However, I did not think that he would make it so my remote start fab did not work. In the end, no additional keys worked, and my remote start did not work. When I brought it back to see if they child get the remote start to work, the nice guy wanted to help, but the rude guy said "I told you it might not work so, sorry." Basically, they told me to take it to the dealer or "Google it." I'm very disappointed that they made a working part of my car completely unusable and I ended up paying $50 for it.

These guys are great! I was trying to find a replacement key for my Thule rack that had non Thule lock cylinders in it. No one could help me. A friend recommended Glens Keys. I drove down there and the gentleman working the counter was very helpful and fast. He was able to solve my problem really quickly when no one else had been able to. Fair price too. Been there several times. I've been impressed with their work every time. Everything is done by hand like the old days at the hardware store. No dumb machines with uneven cuts at Glenn's. Price is slightly more than Home Depot, but totally worth it for the craftsmanship. They also made a new key based on my bringing them a door knob that I had no key to from my garage.

Glen's Key has been amazing to me. I lost my car keys and had to get it replaced pronto, I go to and work full time so I really needed my car. The lady on the phone was nice and asked when I wanted to get it done. She scheduled for that time and I met them at my car. The man who made my key was extremely nice and only took 10 mins to get my key done. He even gave me my key code in case anything ever happens again! No other key place would do that for you. Don't and get your keys programmed if you have an after market remote start. They tried to program my key and left me stranded. Never came out to even check on me or offer to help. I had to get a tow to the dealership. They programmed my original and my after market key no problem.

What a great company! After locking myself out of my car on a Saturday morning, I called around to different locksmiths in my area. These guys were the only ones who could come to the rescue! Apparently, all the other shops were too "busy" or they simple weren't open on Saturdays. They quoted me a price over the phone and said their guy would be there in about 15 minutes. The technician, Larry, arrived in about 10 minutes and it only took him about 5 minutes to unlock my car! I was amazed at the speed and quality of service. There were no hidden fees or extra service charges added to the original price that they quoted me. Don't waste your time with the other companies! Call Glen's first!

Customer Service lacks. Called on a Friday, Glens Keys indicated that they couldn't get someone out there until Monday between 10a and 2p. 2p rolled around, no one, I called, they indicated that a locksmith will be out there shortly, 4p rolled around still no locksmith. 5:30p finally locksmith showed up. I paid for service fee, 1st hour labor and second hour labor, on top of taking the day off to be there between 10 and 2, in addition had to cancel plans for the evening. Went there in person to dispute charges and their lack of scheduling. They did nothing to rectify there mistake.
