The smart lock on my door decided to stop working while I was out, and when I came home there was no way for me to get in my house. I called Extra locksmith based on their good Yelp reviews and they didn't disappoint! They were to my house in less than 10 minutes and we're able to get us inside and install a completely new lock in about an hour (it would have been less but the hole from the previous lock was a was a weird size and he had to run back to the office to find something that would fit). Iban was friendly, and communited the prices and services well. I would definitely call them again, and recommend them to friends and family!

Somehow lost both sets of keys to my Camry. Scott came within 20 minutes of my call to unlock my car only to find that the keys were not locked inside as I had hoped. Ian then showed up 10 minutes later to cut and program me 2 new keys, one remote and one spare. These guys were quick, did a great job and were super friendly. The price was reasonable as well. Usually don't make an effort to write google reviews, but here is an exception. I called Extra Locksmith for some help to get back into my car. They said they could come for $75. I asked if there was any flexibility on price, as I am a student have very little disposable income. They said the lowest we can do is $65. Not impressed, I inquired further but he told me that there was no more room for negotiation. I agreed to talk to the on-call driver, and the driver asked me what the agreed price was. I told him that the lowest the dispatcher would go is $65, but would appreciate some more understanding seeing that the expense would literally jeopardize shopping for groceries. The driver was very understanding and said he would go to bat for me to get the price lower from the dispatcher. Very appreciative, I waited to hear back from the driver. However, the dispatcher called me back and said, in a very aggressive manor, "Hey I don't appreciate you trying to negotiate further on the price with the driver and I find it to be very disrespectful." Almost shocked that the dispatcher called to scold me, I immediately said that I will take my business elsewhere. Luckily, I came in contact with The Lock Ninja. Wow, what a business. They came and unlocked my car within 25 minutes for less than HALF the price AND I didn't have to juggle talking with different parties. Overall, I am disappointed by the extreme lack of professionalism by Extra Locksmith. This is a business. You are capitalizing on people's misfortune, and need to address the way you structure your pricing negotiations. But, more than anything - train your employees to contain their emotions.

I had stopped to fill up one of my car's tire with air at a 711 and mistakenly thought that my car's doors were unlocked. To my dismay I found myself locked out of my running car after filling up the air with my phone inside. I called Extra Locksmith to have our basement door re-keyed, which we hadn’t bothered to do since moving into our house. It wasn’t an emergency, but they could come immediately or at a specific time the same day, so I scheduled an appointment. The locksmith arrived right on time after calling ahead and got started right away. The prices were good enough that we also had another door re-keyed to reduce the number of keys we needed for the whole house. Everything was done fast, the locksmith was friendly, and all our locks work smoothly. Great experience.
