Made contact with them on 3/17/19 around 8 PM, regarding a key being snapped off in a lock at one of our locations. We were required to place a 95 dollar deposit and were told that the locksmith would arrive at 7:30 am.
I arrived at 7:15 and at 7:45, attempted to call the technician who’s number i had been given.
After about an hour of attempting to contact the technician, i called the main business number, and left a message. I received a call stating that i would be called back after they were able to get ahold of the technician. After another 45 minutes, i was told that the technician would be there as soon as possible.
Another hour rolls buy, and while i sat in my car and turned customers away based on the fact that i couldn’t get inside, and at 9:50, the technician arrives. He swiftly drills the lock out, as the key was too far in to extract, and opened the door to get me inside. He then asks if I want to replace the lock, and of course i say yes. He re-keyed the lock to match our key, and re-installed the lock. After getting a good look at the receipts of $699 dollars, i had to call our general manager.
60 dollars for a key extraction
179 dollars for the door opening
279 dollars for the lock (which is at most 50 dollars from any local retailer)
50 dollars for a re-key
90 dollars for something else that isn’t well described on the receipt
45 dollars in tax.
Make sure you get a solid agreed upon price for work performed before dealing with them. We’ve been entirely appalled with our service and blatant lack of professionalism from here.
