If I could I would not even give them 1 star! SCAM!!! I was quoted $75 flat fee on the phone to unlock my front door to my house. The tech arrived completed the job which took less than 10 minutes. Then proceeded to tell me the cost would be $195 because it was July 4th and he was the only person working so there would be an upcharge. When I told him what I was quote on the phone he told me no that’s just a starting price. Complete SCAM DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I accidentally was locked out of my apartment tonight & frantically called my apartment complex manager. No answer, so finally decided to call a Locksmith. TDY answered right away (on a Sunday night), quoted me the price and told me 25 mins - they showed up when they said! They were nice and quick and successfully got me back into my home. They even made sure my key still worked the lock, since they had to mess with it. I would highly recommend them, especially since they charge the going rate and did everything possible to get me back into my home! Thank you guys so much!

I would send your business elsewhere. The cost of the service doubled after the job was done. Further, there was an up charge for not having cash. Being locked out of your apartment is already such a crappy situation, but to also feel uncomfortable and be scammed just amplifies it. Put your trust in another company that won't make you feel threatened or cheated. Being charged almost $200 for a 10 minute fix is ridiculous.

Absolutely professional. I was waiting on "Always available locksmith" for two hours before he called me and told me his machine couldn't make my key and triangle locksmith was going to charge me 250 dollars on top of having me pay to tow my vehicle to their shop to have the key made. TDY was at my car within an hour and it only took them 10 minutes to make my key and get me back on the road. Solid service by experienced locksmiths. Highly recommend.

Expect more. Pay less. Call to maybe 6 locksmith to try get key made for my new ( used ) 2004 Honda Accord ! It was Friday night and me and my girl friend try to get service BUT no one can do it . Some say it's high security key ( laser ) some say only dealer can help us. We call to TDY Locksmith and the guy name David say that the people he work for them religion Jewish and the service can be done SAT night !! So we got no choice and we wait and guy name Israel show up with van full of machine and tools and we wait maybe 10min and the key already make and program to my car ! He charge us Very good price and got us on the road again . Thanks Israel and tdy locksmith

i got a 2009 nissan maxima push 2 start system ! call all the locksmith in columbia south carolina and Tdy Locksmith was the only one say he can do it with no time . the service was fast and the price was great . nissan dealership asking $300 and i need to tow my car there . the guy name Ziv show up and about 5min he done with the key and program it . price was high for me BUT i believe that becouse the key cost 2 much . They're hustlers and bullies. If you're not comfortable with that, take your business elsewhere... I felt suspicious even letting them swipe my credit card. Ill be monitoring my activity closely over the next few days. They're very clearly taking advantage of people who are stuck with no other options. Luckily I was not, just mildly impatient. As some background I left my keys at a friend's place while on vacation and my spare was in my glove box (stupid. I know) Decided to have it popped since my main key was gonna take a couple days in the mail to arrive and my girlfriend was gonna have to drive me to work. Be aware that they wont tell you the price up front. And will way overprice you when they arrive. And if you try to back out will demand a service fee for showing up and threaten to call the cops if you don't pay it. Don't believe them, like I said, just a bunch of bullies. They're even threatening to call the cops on people leaving bad reviews on google. Lol! Scroll through the reviews and see. Wish I had a trustworthy and reputable locksmith to suggest In their place, but they're the only ones I've dealt with in columbia. They irony is, I chose them because they were so highly reviewed. So who knows. Maybe I just got a bad locksmith/supervisor and all the others are great. No idea. Still wouldn't risk it though, the manager/owner calling out bad Google reviewers, threatening to call the cops seems to indicate that this is more than just a "one bad egg" sort of problem. TLDR: Sketchy AF. Try someone else.

I had a poor experience with this service; I was price gauged and antagonized. I do NOT recommend this service. On Sunday June 16, I locked myself out of my apartment. Tony answered the phone, said the technician will come in 30 minutes, and that it'll be $80. The technician Owen arrived in the timeframe, and unlocked my apartment door less than a minute. Once inside my apartment, he charged me $180. When I explained that Tony and I agreed on $80, Owen responded with that he's just a dispatcher and doesn't know. Regardless of whether Tony is a dispatcher or not, this is the price I agreed upon with the business. When explaining my position and how I am only a student and cannot afford $180, Owen said said he would charge me $120 like he did with another student, whose receipt he showed me. I told Owen I do not need to see someone else's information. Being alone in the middle of my apartment, I did not feel comfortable to continue negotiating. I accepted the $120 fee. However, it ended up including a 10% charge when paying with a credit card. I was not informed of this extra charge when on the phone. The following day on Monday June 17, I drove down to their physical location to discuss the situation and hoping to resolve the issue. The building was deserted and appeared to be unused for years. At that point, I phoned Tony asking him where they are physically located. He said the building is for commercial purposes only; they do not have a physical location. I explained the situation and how I thought it was unfair. Tony responded with that him and I never agreed on $80. I said we did. Tony then said he will meet with all the technicians tonight as they are closing out for the week and will speak with Owen as he needs to hear the full story and then will call me back around 5:00 pm. He never called me back. I called back around 7:20 pm, left a voicemail explaining that I would like for us to discuss and resolve this issue together. I called back today on Tuesday around 1:30 pm and left another voicemail. I felt that I was treated unfairly, was price gauged, and antagonized. If you're in a desperate situation and locked out of your apartment or car, I would suggest using another service.

My 2007 Honda Accord steering wheel was locked. I didn't know why but I might have locked it myself accidentally. I asked for assistance from this locksmith company explaining that this was urgent since I was running late for work. One of their tech unlocked the steering wheel and checked the ignition within 10-15 min. The tech even told me what not to do to avoid such incidents. Great guy! Great company! Price was little high for me But the dealer ask much more over the phone plus I need to tow my car there! Thanks guys!

I'm not entirely sure what their website means when it says "$29/ service call" because I was charged $67 for just a lockout. On top of that, I was charged $75 for EACH lock I wanted to rekey. In total my bill was $371 for a lockout and 4 lock changes. So when it says $29/ service call for residential services and then lists things like "rekeying" I'm pretty confident in saying that they do not offer services at the prices they claim to. Additionally, I mentioned the 10% off coupon when I called (as the website said to) and the extra house key coupon (again, as the website suggested) and received neither of these. The actual locksmith was courteous and nice, but the charge here is simply ridiculous. We ended up paying $371 for something which their website indicates should be a third of that.

I initially called TDY locksmith and was told someone was on the way. I chose this company based on their high reviews. While waiting, I decided to read closely through the reviews and saw how a few people mentioned being bullied, price haggled or were threatened to pay a certain price. Feeling a bit suspicious, I called back to set a price. The person on the phone wasn't clear and was also very rude; he kept reassuring me they'll help me out without giving me a price estimate. Feeling suspicious about their business, I decided to cancel. Ultimately, I didn't use their services; who knows, maybe those few reviews were anomalies. But I chose to take my business elsewhere. Wish i could give them less stars. They literally tried to con me. He told me he was going to have to charge me 750 dollars for 2 keys to be made for our car. When i called before i asked if he could do it cheaper than the dealership and he said yes, but couldnt give me an estimated price. turns out, dealership would have only costed 200 plus whatever money it took to tow it. I talked him down to 500 dollars, which literally proves to me that they pulled a random ridiculous number out of their ass when they told me 750. Do not recommend. He said even if i chose not to get keys made i would still have to pay him almost 200 dollars just for coming to my house. Would have wasted money so i was stuck paying the 500. Can't stress enough how shitty this locksmith company is.

After coming home from a weekend trip to Arlington to remember fallen service members, I landed in Columbia, SC to realize I had left my keys in Maryland. I called USAA and they got a hold of these crooks. They said they could arrive within the hour, but it would cost me $500. Being active duty military and traveling with a 4 year old, I decided that I would eat the cost of a new key fob in the interest of getting home faster, since I still had an hour drive ahead of me. An hour comes and goes so I call the number I was given. The gentleman that answered asked me for my vin, I could hear a child in the background so I know he hadn't even left yet. He said he would be here soon. I called USAA at the 90 minute mark and THEY contacted them and were told it would be ANOTHER 30 minutes. So my 4 year old daughter and myself will total at least 2 hours waiting to pay $500 for a key fob that costs no more than $150. I'm grateful for service on a Sunday, but after seeing their website and that they advertise 24/7/365 service, I can tell I'm being ripped off. Updated to add that they were scheduled to arrive at 5:30 pm and didn't show up until 7:00 pm. They stayed until 9:30 pm and couldn't program 2 different fobs. Basically wasted my entire night, I could have just gotten the car unlocked, gotten my car seat, and been on my way with rental. Worst service I've experienced in a long time. I ended up having to get a rental car anyway to make the hour drive home with my daughter. Thank you so much for making an already emotionally charged weekend that much worse. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

This is a total nightmare! I was bounced around between 2 different companies claiming to be locksmiths. Both guys barely spoke english and had bad additudes. There is no way this company is legit. Never mentioned the aditional charges 80.00 to unlock my truck when they quoted me 29.00 on the phone! Beware!

This guy ripped me off!!! I don't know who the people who reviewed this company are? Must be paid to say what they are saying. I called and a woman told me she would have a locksmith call me back. No one called, but I made the mistake and gave her my address. This man showed up with an adittude, who could barely speak English, wanted me to pay him $29 for coming out and then $99 to unlock my KIA. I explained the situation to him and he was incredibly confrontational! Told me I was gunna pay him one way or another! AWFUL!!! called four different companies for a price, all with different names and phone numbers, same person answered for all the of the businesses. They came out for $29.00, then told me it would be $100 to unlock car!! Well i didn't have that much and wouldn't give price till they got out their. I left and went home, called another company and same guy came out that evening. He said he and his brother own all of the locksmith companies in columbia and if i wanted to get into my car id have to pay the $129 to have him unlock. paid on CC. Will never call any of these companies again!! Don't be fooled their addresses and phone numbers and websites are fake!!! They are group of foreigners, who are screwing people over in Columbia. I called BBB and filed a report. I hope this doesn't happen to you!!! BEWARE

TDY locksmith arrived on the day & time specified. He listened carefully to what I was attempting to do-- replace 6 deadbolts, install 3 new doorknobs, replace cylinder in garage door lock, ALL keyed alike. It was a big job, and the locksmith had a few ideas of his own to make things easier for my aging parents. I could not stay the entire time the locksmith was at work, but he was careful to make sure enough keys were made, the keys were given to the right person when he was done (me), the bill was paid by the right person (me).

Mister Levi came and changed our all new Church Locks, No Problems, and very tidy Locksmith. Very questionable business practices. We called for a lock smith and during our phone call we asked if there was a quote or standard fee. The man on the phone said "You'll find out when we get there" and then promptly hung up. When the technician arrived he quoted us an outrageous price that was far above what we were quoted from a different company. When we said "no that's okay we will go with the other company" the technician became very rude and demanded we pay him a $35 service fee. When we refused he became even more irate and started to spout random information about our legal requirements to pay him. Overall we totally got scammed by this company- would not recommend under any circumstances. Be sure to call around to other more reputable companies!

This company gives very poor service and is shady. Quoted one price over the phone and charged an extremely higher price after once they got there. When trying to get in touch w/ customer service there were no responses at all. I would advise women alone to avoid this company all together.
