My experience today with Mr Rice was phenomenal! He was very courteous when I called and was able to meet me onsite where my vehichle was parked very quickly. George gave me the most AWESOME Locksmith experience ever! He called requesting to come EARLY! Awesome. He arrived, shook my hand, heard my issue, fixed my issue in less than 60 seconds. He also explained yearly lock maintenance - which I have never heard of. He gave detail as to why it is needed and told me what to buy next time I have my type of lock issue. I can't forget... I requested a lock re-key...not knowing I should have requested a lock repair...and George in no way minded that I had made a mistake. Lock Monkeys Locksmiths is the ONLY locksmith I will ever use. Nobody wants to have to call the locksmith.... but if you do, Lock Monkeys is the one. My apt door lock failed, I had the key but it no longer would work. George was there within ten minutes of my calling. He tried several different things before finally having to drill the lock out. Before drilling, he told me he would leave me with a courtesy lock, so my baby and I wouldn't have to leave the door unlocked over night. However, George was able to keep the lock working from the inside. Even though I didn't end up needing it, I really appreciated that offer. He takes debit/credit, right at the door. He also made sure my receipt said that the lock was faulty and that it was definitely not my fault the lock failed. My apartment, Bromley Village, didn't care, they would not reimburse me the fee but at least George tried to help. I saved Lock Monkeys contact info just in case I need it again....

I have locked my keys inside my car multiple times and every time I do not hesitate to call George. He is trustworthy, arrives on time, and is very affordable. I have AAA but I choose to call them first simply because they arrive when they say they will be there. George also knew me from a previous locked car incident and discounted me $10 off my service and made me a spare key just because. I will continue to go to Lock Monkey's for my locksmith needs.

After locking myself out of my home I contacted several local locksmiths (Who claimed to have 24 service ) that either never answered or quoted ridiculous prices to simply pick my dead bolt lock. Almost giving up I contacted George with Lock Monkeys who not only quoted me an exact time and was there on the minute, he too was also helpful in accurately opening my lock within 30 seconds and keying me in on a bit of knowledge. Just a super experience with Lock Monkeys here in Fort Mill. Had to have a professional locksmith help us with an upgrade of some Yale locksets we had purchased to replace the builder-installed units; could NOT remove the builder items as it was impossible to see how to disassemble the lock set. Weekend warrior admitted defeat, call in the pros! Did a quick Google search for a locksmith in Fort Mill, found 'Lock Monkeys', read the great reviews and feedback, and called. Got in touch with George immediately in a 1x1 call, and had a very accommodating call. Was expecting to have to wait a few days to a week to get an appointment for a residential visit. George was able to fit me in at 3 pm the SAME DAY (I had called him at 11 am that day), and was here exactly on time to the minute. What kind of trade professional has that kind of time and schedule management these days?? A more pleasant and professional experience I've never had before with a trade professional; totally painless fix of my lockset issues. George is a total professional, and a pleasure to have on the job. A gentleman in the true meaning of the word - best customer service ever. Pricing was amazing for a short-notice call, not to mention the almost real-time scheduling. Just an amazing experience, we had a wonderful discussion while he took care of our lock issues (yes, he's a great multi-tasker!). I contacted George at Lock Monkeys to program a key/fob for my vehicle. George arrived promptly for our appointment. Unfortunately, he had a technical glitch that kept him from being able to program my fob. He referred me to another locksmith who was able to complete the job. Since George was unable to program my fob, he did not charge me for the appointment. I highly recommend George because he is licensed, professional, knowledgeable, and conducts business with integrity.

Great service. Needed a proximity key fob programmed for a car. Dealership quoted significantly higher price, "about an hour" to do, and no guarantee that it would work. George from Lock Monkey was more affordable and only took about 15 minutes to do. He arrived right at the scheduled time (a few minutes early, actually) and was very friendly and knowledgeable. First of all, for the ones posting negative reviews, you undoubtedly have the wrong company. My husband lost his whole set of keys in concrete at his construction job. We called Lock Monkeys. They came out to make us another key. However, in the process we found out that they whole ignition switch was old and worn out. He was able to make a key for the door and even came back out that same day when we returned with the new ignition switch. I would definitely recommend this company to others. Fast, friendly, reliable and AFFORDABLE! Very pleased with the service we received!

Need a locksmith? Do not call anyone other then George at Lock Monkeys. Never have I experienced such an honest and amazing service experience. George had to order the special key for my car, it took a little less then a week do to the specialty of my key, but he made sure to keep me updated on the status of him receiving it. Once he obtained the key he was able to meet me at a moments notice and program it. He made sure it programmed properly by testing the key not 1, not 2 but 3 times that I know of. He also made sure to educate me on how my key works.

I lost my ONLY car key. Ack! Panic! LM quoted me a price for two new keys that was close to 1/3 of the price the dealership wanted to charge me for the keys and the programming. He came out, on time, in the rain, and made me two new keys and even a template key to help open the car and help the locksmith if I should ever lose both of my new keys. My new keys work great, the price was amazing, and it was a great service experience. I hope I won't ever need a locksmith again, but if I do, I know who I will call!

My car key snapped in my door lock. I called LockMonkey and they were great. I shopped around and they had the best price in the area! George (Locksmith) gave me an estimated time of arrival, and arrived right when he said he would, managed to get the snapped key out of the lock, and made a new one from it for me right on the spot. I would recommend to anyone if they are unfortunate enough to get locked out/have a snapped car key with no spare!

Our 2 year old grandson locked himself into our closet which had an electronic deadbolt and changed the combo from inside. George dropped everything and was at my house in 10 minutes and drilled out the lock for us. I was expecting to be charged a very high price for this emergency service but was surprised that there was no emergency fee, driving fee or any other fee added on to his already reasonable prices.
