I called Around the Clock after the Toyota dealership quoted me over $700 to create a key for my kids 2009 Toyota Corolla. The person on the phone assured me that he could make the key for more than half of the price Toyota quoted me. The Toyota dealership insisted that no one else could create the key except a Toyota dealer. Well...Lance came within 1 hour of my call and created 2 keys! And they work. Toyota is now eating crow. On Thursday, after calling over ten so called locksmiths and the dealership, I was given the number for Around the Clock by a body shop that I had called about breaking into the trunk of the car to get the keys. Yes I was that desperate. Matt and his coworker arrived earlier than the time quoted, charged exactly the quoted price, and were very kind and understanding. I placed their business card on the wall in the office at work, we will be recommending them to all are customers.

I called to get a price quote for a car key since I lost mine. I called them because their website says "pay significantly lower prices than at the dealership" WRONG!!! I just don't understand how a key from the dealership is 60.00 and a Key from them is 180.00 how is that significantly cheaper? His response is we come to you so I'm paying 120.00 in time and gas fees. Yeah not!!! Unless you're just rich and have money to waste if your calling to get a key made just pay the 10.00 in uber go to the dealership and get a new key.

They do it all. I was at the gym and someone walked off with my keys. Not knowing the situation and if and when they'd be brought be back, life is at a standstill without your keys. I needed keys and to be let into my house. They make keys for late model cars where the other locksmiths. Even though the original cars were brought back, it's nice to know I can call on a place that gets you out of any bind. Highly recommended.

Locked my keys in my trunk and AAA sent out a locksmith that ended up wasting 3.5 hours of my life in the middle of the night, wasn't able to get into my trunk, and messed up my car door in the process. Called Around the Clock because I had used them before when I lost my house keys and remembered them being extremely helpful. Troy assured me he could help me over the phone and explained the process of getting into my trunk. He was able to get into my car in 15 mins and even wrote out a report detailing the damages the AAA locksmith had done so that I was able to file a complaint with AAA. I will NEVER use another locksmith! I don't know what I would've done without Troy's help. I was distraught and didn't think I would ever be able to get into my home but Troy made the process simple and easy!!!!!!!!

Was in Charleston on vacation, got there Thursday. Key fob for car just flat out stopped working. Around the clock provided next day service, every other locksmith place would be three days and the dealership would have been Monday and I would have had to tow the car there, and it would have costed a lot more!

Our West Ashley coffee shop was broken into very early on a Sunday morning. We needed the locks changed fast. We have a very strong but very old back door with obsolete locks on it. The technician arrived as scheduled, was very professional and friendly. He knew his stuff and did an excellent job. Costed $70, which I thought was reasonable for emergency lock service on a Sunday. I would definitely use them again!

I had an occasion to find that I needed a locksmith on the evening of July 3rd. My key would not turn in the ignition of my truck and I was afraid I would have to have it towed to a garage to be fixed on the 5th as the garages were closed on the 4th. Less than ten minutes after I called, Matt called me back and got directions to my home. He was there within 10-15 min and quickly diagnosed that my ignition cylinder need to be fixed. Also I had him program and cut to key fobs for me which I had tried to have done with a competitor in the area who never returned phone call. He had everything completed within an hour and was very friendly and courteous. He even allowed me to use a coupon towards my service. I would definitely use Around the Clock again the next time I need a locksmith.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. I called because my dog accidentally locked herself in my car, in a panic I called the CLOSEST locksmith to me (I did not care about the price I just needed someone to get my dog out of my car ASAP) I as well let them know my dog was trapped in the car so it was kind of an emergency. They said they would be there in 15 minutes. 45 minutes go by and I am forced to call them again, then I am told it will be 15 minutes, yet again. They show up 30 minutes after my second call. I was waiting to get my dog out of my car for an hour and 15 minutes. The gentleman was not even pleasant to me just quickly opening the door then taking my card. I asked for a discount for waiting and the complete inconvenience, they took off $5. I am so upset with this service and highly recommend AGAINST them. It really bothers me that I told them my dog was trapped in the car yet they showed no concern.

We were closing our office in west Ashley at 4 pm and our key broke inside our lock, preventing us from leaving work. We called Jantzen and pop a lock and both said that we were out of luck for today. We called Around the clock locksmith and Lance arrived within 30 minutes and had us up and running within 15 minutes. Fast, professional, and prompt. Very reasonable rates. Absolutely unprofessional and irresponsible when it comes to completing their end of the deal but when it came to the matter of getting paid they insist on getting paid first before even getting to the location, forget about after completing the work which we did and then do a job of poor quality only to be called back within half an hour of "completing" the job. If you intend to run a business, please understand and know the importance of clients and customers...they are the one who make your business thrive or perish! Amazing service! A gentleman answered the phone every time I called and made sure he scheduled me as soon as he could. Communication was fantastic. I had someone call me to confirm they were coming. He then called me again to let me know the traffic conditions were bad and he would be a little later than planned. Lance was the most amazing locksmith I could have hoped for. He knew exactly what he was doing, and he did this in minutes. He changed multiple locks in my home and was pretty much done in 20 minutes. He was quirky, sarcastic but polite and respectful. Why can’t everyone who comes to doa job at my home be like him! I was charged a lot less than what I was expecting which is a first. $55 service charge and $15 per lock. Amazing pricing. Next time you get locked out or just wish to change your locks for fun, make sure you call Around The Clock Locksmith and specifically ask for Lance, he’ll make your day and change your locks at the same time!

I recommend that everyone use Around The Clock Locksmith. One of my best friend was killed in a motorcycle accident and he had 2 yellow Labs that were locked in his house. For some reason the investigating officers could not locate the house keys. The police department was going to have the fire department break into the house to get to the dogs. I suggested we call a locksmith. I called a couple locksmiths that were too busy before calling Troy at Around The Clock Locksmith. I told Troy the situation and that a police officer was with me at the house. He was there in 30 minutes, got the door open, re-keyed the lock to the exact same key and here is the coolest part. At first, Troy took my credit card to pay the fee and went to his van to process it. He came back moments later and said he was not going to charge me for the service. I would have paid him double. Troy is a very cool dude and I want him to know that I so much appreciate his gesture. Thanks Troy!!!

Lance was professional and very talented. I requested a keyless entry door lock and he was able to make it fit perfectly around my door frame. The original door knob had been place too close to the frame, making it difficult to install the new lock. He was very careful and did an excellent job removing a small portion of the trim to fit the lock. It now looks like it was made that way! He took extra time to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. He also called me ahead of time to give me his ETA and was right on time. I really appreciated the open communication. I would highly recommend using 24- locksmiths and requesting Lance.

Matt and Around the Clock have helped us twice now. The first time he came to our house to fix our car ignition. The problem was a bit more than he expected and he stayed for over 4 hours! He then realized it was even more of a situation, so he returned, on time, at 8 am the next morning to complete the job without any negativity whatsoever. He could not have been more professional or courteous and the ignition works perfectly. The second time, Matt came to our place of business and installed a new pad lock on our door. Rude and Racist First the workman decided it was okay to share his political views about Mr. Trump. It was not. I didn't call him to be a pundit. Secondly, he questioned why I wanted an estimate before he made any repairs. Well that's the way I run my business. The final straw was when he entered my nursery and asked if we were wet nurses. He then went on the share that wet nurses used to be big black women who fed their milk to other babies. I explained to him that wet nurses were from the days of slavery and that slavery no longer exists. I also shared that those women most certainly did not want to nurse other babies, but we're forced to do so. Needless to say I sent him on his way. I could never do business with this company again.

This review is way overdue but none the less....Lance is BY FAR the best locksmith I have ever come in contact with! My job has moved me around several times and I’ve had to have my condo/house locks changed multiple times. There is no comparison in all the locksmiths I’ve used in 5 STATES to Lance with Around The Clock Locksmith! His professionalism, time management, and most importantly skill is beyond 5 stars. He was early, knew exactly what he needed to do and was done during my lunch break and I was able to go back to work with time to spare! Anyone else I’ve had to use all over has been late, not shown up, or didn’t know a third of what he knows. Sadly, I no longer live in Charleston but if you do or live in the Charleston area call Around the clock Locksmith and ask for LANCE to do the job. This is the ONLY company you should use. True professionals and top notch! I recently dealt with a locksmith where I just moved (Cali) and didn’t realize how amazing this company really is back in Charleston. Sorry for such a late review but I had to go back to post this because Lance and this company deserves it!!

These guys went above and beyond to replace a lost key for my motorcycle. They had to come out on three separate occasions to finish the job, which was understandably very challenging (other local locksmiths had already tried and gave up). They only raised the price slightly from the initial estimate which was extremely fair to begin with even after the excessive amount of extra work that was ultimately required. I highly recommend these guys and will certainly be doing business with them in the future.
