I called Anderson and Sons and got a quote of $160. The guy (forgot is name) came right on time, was so kind and sweet. He made the key on the spot and we parted ways. This company is amazing. My vehicle was stolen and I need a new key. My car has a push to start a keyless entry. Eli came to me, install the battery for me, cut the key on site for the insert, programmed the main key on site, then gave me a 10% discount because I’m an EMT. I called and spoke to Eli on 8/23/19 to see if I could have a spare car key made. I was assured they could and told me they would need to order my key which would take about a week to come in. I thought their pricing was fair and told them to order the key. Today is 9/9/19. I never received a follow up phone call that my key had come in. They completely forgot about me. I called and asked where my key was. Rather than apologize and own up to their mistake, they asked “what year car again?” I was told that the key was out of stock but they had another company and they could have the key in by the end of this week. No thanks. I do not trust this company nor would I use or recommend them in the future.

Fantastic, professional local locksmith with over a decade experience! I locked myself out of my house and the only way in was through the front door, which had a broken mortise deadbolt. Eric was my technician and he met me within an hour of my call, and had the old lock drilled and a new one installed in about an hour. He even gave me extra keys for the new lock, which was such a small thing but speaks to their high level of customer service. It's hard to find a good locksmith, even more so when you've got a 100+ year old house!

Amazing experience both times I worked with them. First time was re-keying the new house locks, which was done incredibly quickly and made me extra key copies on the spot. Called them back to do the same for a different door lock that turned out to hide a structural issue. Eli stayed to puzzle out how the hell he could fix it and an hour later had managed to make it work. On a call that was supposed to have taken 20min. I'm going to use these guys for everything from now on.

This was over the Thanksgiving weekend visiting Ct from Chicago, on the way to visit my son & his fiancée in NYC. Catastrophe struck, they had to catch the train back to NYC from Connecticut & I needed a set of their apartment keys for when I would arrive following Tuesday. I wish I could give this zero stars. Like many others, I got ripped off by this profession of thieves. I moved into a new house in a safe neighborhood, but wanted to have the locks changed, no rush. they charged me $1100 for changing 6 locks in my house. This company is the worst and cannot be trusted. Tell everyone you know to call a handyman instead.

I gave them a call when I was locked out of my home. They were all booked up for a couple of hours, so I said I would look for another locksmith to call and hung up. As I was looking up other options in the area, they called me back to give me more information (going rate for simple home lock-out, etc.) to make sure I wouldn't get scammed. That attention to customer service when the customer isn't even going to be paying you deserves recognition. They'll be the first call I make if I ever need a locksmith again.

I was eager to get my locks rekeyed as quickly after my closing as possible. I called on a Friday afternoon and was was fully prepared to be told that I would have to wait until next week. Imagine my delight when Eli said he could come over in 20 minutes! Eli was professional, explained what needed to be done, and exuded a kind of honesty that made me want to do business with him.
