DISHONEST PRICES. The car lockout service is $69 on the website. They arrived about an hour and a half after I called because I told them I wasn’t in a hurry. However my card was charged $150 without my notice, I was just handed the electronic to sign. I was unaware that they upcharged my service and when I clicked on the details on the receipt I was texted, it said “express base rate”. If you have 24 hour service I do not understand why you would charge literally double the rate than what you wrote on the site. Will not be using this service again unfortunately and I advise everybody who does use it to confirm the prices before calling.

Fast and professional service. We had another local company agree to repair out lock, they had rekeyed it for us when we first moved into our building thirteen months earlier. When the lock failed, we were told the warranty was only good for one year. He would replace the lock but needed to order parts. He quoted a price of $369 for the second repair to the same lock. He never showed up to complete the job. I called Pocono Locksmith and on the same day Christopher was able to repair our lock quickly and expertly with parts he had stocked on his truck. Chris came out to reprogram some proximity sensor key fobs for a car I had just bought. The car's previous owner only had one fob when I bought it, so I bought 2 spares that had come from totaled cars of the same model and year. It's always a risk to buy used key fobs because they might be locked and un-programmable. Some locksmiths won't even try. But Chris came out to give them a try and had all the right equipment to make them work for my car! Today was my lucky day!

It is unconceivable that a Toyota dealer was not able to program a new key for my 2000 Avalon car and that the option was to change the car computer or if I wanted to try a locksmith first. The problem was that the old keys were worn out and I couldn’t start the car. I was on vacation at Great Wolf Lodge with a family. It was time to leave the place when I realized I lost my truck keys. Spare one was at home 4 hours of driving away. I drive HD F-150, so naturally I called closest ford dealership to solve my issue. They forwarded me to Harley Davidson. Figures... Luckily, friend of mine found this contact while I was talking to dealership guys. Person on the phone(Chris) sounded very professional and he said he has no problem with Harley Davidson edition. This was Friday around 2pm. He was on site in about 40 min. Took him about 15 min and my spare key at they house would still work. At the end, he charged me $225 for everything. I was speechless. I was locked out of my house in Tannersville, called at 9:45 PM and was told someone would call me back right away. An hour later I called again and was told someone would call me back right away. Two days later, still no call. Granted, it was Thanksgiving and if they told me no one was available, I would have understood. But they didn't, so we sat there in 28 degree cold waiting and waiting. Finally had to break in at 11:40 PM. Three days later, still no call. Your experience may be different and like I said, it was Thanksgiving night but at least tell me you can't help me so I don't sit around waiting. UPDATED FROM 1 to 3 Stars based on the personal response from Pocono Locksmith. It was great to see Chris respond with and explanation and his very generous offer.

I needed 2 car keys made after losing my car key at work last week. I was supposed to meet Chris at his office at 12pm today and when I got there, he wasn't there. I rang the bell which automatically calls his cell and he told me he was tied up at a car dealership. I told him I would wait as I had traveled from palmerton to stroudsburg and didn't want to make another trip. When I called him at 12:30, he was still at the dealership so I decided to meet him there in Pen Argyl. I thought he was there on a job but he was actually getting his work van serviced. I was a little annoyed that I had to track him down but I understood that sometimes things happen that are out of our control. I met Chris at the dodge dealership and he was very apologetic and offered me a bottle of water for my inconvenience. I told him that I was not mad at him and he gave me a great deal on my keys. I believe Chris to be an honest and hard working man who values his customers and goes out of his way to make sure they are happy. Lost the key to my 07 Dodge Durango on a Sunday during the holiday weekend of Presidents’ Day. Knowing my key has a security chip there’s no way I will be able to find anyone to get me on the road probably till Tuesday. Chris was very professional and went above and beyond- I needed an extra full functioning key for my 2012 Toyota Camry. He took my car key and went to work. He went into his office (van) and came right out with the exact duplicate within minutes. Got my key cut and programmed all at once. Chris does nice work but he’s not great about keeping appointments. We had 2 new garage doors, an entry door and new locks and deadbolts put on 5 doors which took 3 months to finish. He did run into some bad luck with a sick worker and weather but a good chunk was just poor customer service. His work alone is 5 stars all day long but his customer service needs some serious improvement.

What a relief! We have been struggling with an old door lock for years. Long ago, another locksmith had told us it couldn't be fixed and it was expensive and difficult to replace in the door we have. (We like this old door!) Finally, we needed to address the monster and called a few locksmiths. The only one who returned my call was Chris at Pocono Locksmiths. He came, he saw and he fixed!!! He said there was no reason why he couldn't just replace some pins and the lock would work fine. AND IT DOES!!! Looks like I have a new favorite locksmith! :D

My only complaint was that he did not arrive at the appointed time. I wanted him there after I closed on the house, even calling him up that I may be late b/c my closing got push back. After I called him and said I'm in the house, he would be there in an hour. About 2.5 hour he arrived...a bit disappointed since I had other things I needed to do. But once Chris arrived, he made the changes and keys. I asked if he does Nest installation, he does but I think he preferred Arlo. I took that recommendation which I am happy with. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
