I drive an International ProStar 2013 (worse truck ever , don't even take it if it was free ) I was on a run and after being loaded in York , PA , My ignition switch / ignition lock cylinder was damaged , after calling 4 different locksmith companies , no one could come resolve the issue , Jake from Jake Bahn's came by and resolved it within an hour . He also made 2 keys that worked for both the ignition and the doors as opposed to the key I had which only worked for the ignition . Highly Recommend him if your in the NorthEast PA area .

It's Friday the 13th, so of course my son would attempt to unlock the door to the apartment with a bobby pin. Of course a piece would break off and lock us all out. I called the dealer but they required me to tow the car to the dealership. I really didn't want to do that so I google locksmiths in the Red Lion area and came up with Jake Bahn's number. I'm glad I did. He arrived at my promptly at my house. In less than an hour and half after I made the initial call had a pair of keys to my car. I highly recommend Jake. Jake is an evolution for Locksmiths beyond the previous generations that taught him the tricks of the trade. I say go with the new generation to avoid any issues. You may want to cry uncle with Jake but you'll never have to as he does it right the first time. So avoid issues and call him first you won't regret it when the works is done.

So...I am an idiot. I locked my keys in my rental car on my way to the airport. I had one shot to get on my flight...if I missed the flight I wouldnt get home today at all. I was panicked. I called Avis...no answer. I called every single locksmith in Harrisburg PA...especially the ones who say they have service 24/7. Not one person answered. I saw Jake Bahn's listing. I didnt know where he was, but he was in the same area code...so I gave it a try. He answered!!! 5:30 in the morning on a holiday weekend..and he answered. He drove a full hour to help me. Who does that?? Jake Bahn does. He is so professional and super fast!! Best of all, even with an early morning call on a Saturday, he had a smile on his face and did not charge me a crazy price!! Great customer service! I bought a car that only had 1 ignition key and no key to unlock or lock the doors or trunk. Called Jake Bahn and instantly was available to help me out. I thought i would have had to get a key for the door lock and a seperate key for the ignition however in a short amount of time Jake found that my ignition key was cut improperly by whoever had the car previously and made a key that fits the door locks and ignition He then programmed a custom flip key that not only unlocks the trunk and doors by button, but also starts my car! One key for everything and only took an hour now i have a custom flip key with buttons but also 2 spare keys. All that and still alot cheaper than the quote i recieved from the dealer. Couldnt be more pleased with the service, thanks!

Lost all my car keys, wanted 240 for one key to be programmed. Which is decent compared to a car dealership. I decided to take my business else where and have smiths locksmith in York pa do it. Reason why is after calling jake bahns locksmith service they told me they would raise the price if I call again, I'll admit it was my 3rd time calling with a question but I felt that was unnecessary. Long story short I had smiths locksmith in York pa make an original key and a spare for 220 at 12 at night he arrived to my house in 15 mins and did it which I found was a better deal and more convenient because to duplicate another key with a chip in it and program it, it can cost anywhere between 60-100 more dollars or sometimes even more depending on the person doing it.

I personally had a situation at 5 a.m. at my house. Without going into details, I called Bahn's at 6 a.m. and surprisingly enough He arrived at 6:30 a.m. the guy re-keyed my whole house in 30 minutes and the price was more than reasonable. Jake arrived sooner than he indicated and was very professional. Monday night, I was locked out of my house. My sump pump died and tripped the circuit in the garage so my remotes failed to open and I could not get into my house. My front door was blocked and all my sliding doors are protected against thieves. I never thought I would be locked out of my own home. My only recourse was to cause damage to one of my entry points. I honestly gave up and was pricing repairs in my mind and planning to take off work the next day. But Jake was cool and collected and extremely positive that he could get in without major damage to my home. He acted as if my house was his and talked about how much he cared for family.
