Although he has great reviews and I am sure he is good with simple door locks and keys, my experience was a little different...He showed up quick but dropped the ball after and it went downhill quick. I had to call back to see what was happening...I explained BEFORE he went to this location that the lock was on a ATM machine. Gave him all info needed and was quoted $150 to remove the lock (Drill). When I got hold of him again he told me the price was now $800 and to replace the lock would be another $250! I have been a technician for a long time in California for ATM's and have drilled locks. This is a simple LaGard dial lock. 1 drill hole and you have to use a pick to roll the tumblers to open. I have even seen a local locksmith drill and open this same lock and then be able to reuse it!! I pay $100 for this service here. I understand things change when on site but I was very thorough in my explanation and in no way should it be raised 500%. Replacing the lock takes 10 minutes to get the one you just drilled off and another 10 minutes to replace it with the new one. The lock cost is $50 so I ask, does this equal a $250 charge? I could see $100 ($50 for the lock and $50 for your time) He might be good on simple easy door locks and making keys but I will never call or recommend this lockman to anyone doing anything that requires a little time and patience. Sorry about the review, couldn't let this one go!

It was Sunday and both my husband and I left the house without our keys. Google gave us a long list of 24 hour (Open Now) businesses that didn't answer the phone. We had to leave messages. Be Safe answered the phone, said he'd be there in 15 minutes.....and he was! He got us in within 3 minutes, educated us about the kind of lock we had, and made spares for us to 'place'. It probably took him longer to get to us than it took to handle business. I asked for a card because hopefully I won't need a locksmith again, but if I do, I can skip the Google search and go straight to him.
