As a dealership we have a regular key service that we can call and get a great price and service when we need to. Unfortunately today he was unable to get to us as he is out of town. We called yesterday to set up an appointment, they told us it would be $145 and they would be in at 10 a.m. Their price is a bit higher than what we normally pay for a key being programmed and cut (and yes even laser cut as well) but we were understanding as we do not have an established relationship with this vendor. Well many things went wrong not only did their technician show up at 1 p.m. HOURS LATER but he comes and tells us a price that is ridiculous for a key $280.00
we have a customer waiting for this vehicle to be ready and wasted hours of time waiting for this guy to show only to throw a fit on the showroom floor because we wouldn't agree to his price, then says that we have to pay him for wasting his time and gas for driving to us.
Absolutely the worst service I have ever experience in our 20+ years of business in the automotive industry. As a business we do not recommend them to ANYONE commercial or consumer because pricing is way over priced, they quote wrong prices and have very unprofessional staff. When we called in to get an explanation they said it wasn't their fault and they cant give accurate pricing for any type of vehicle because things could be different. Even though we gave the year make and model as well as the VIN of the car.
