Scheduled for them to come at 9 AM, they did not come for 3 hours. I called them multiple times, and I was hung up on roughly 8 times. The last person I talked to said I should just leave my house if I wasn't going to wait for them. When I said I was going to use another business he said "So they can be late too? Fine, go do that." Worst customer service I have ever experienced, do not trust them.

Appointment was for 11, the locksmith is now supposed to be here within 20 mins, which would make it 2 hours late. Have called three times to verify the situation and asked to be called with an eta, which did not happen until 4th call. Each time the phone operator said that the gentleman was in the area, very nearby, and that they would have him call us immediately. When he did finally call me, after the 4th attempt to reach someone, he said that he did not tell them he was nearby and was not aware the appointment was at 11. I understand appointments can not always be kept on time, and that is not a problem, I simply would like honest and preemptive communication, not after the fact.

Multiple companies in Columbus use the same service. They advertise 30 minutes and /or $19. This is a lie, do not trust this business. The company said that they would be 2 hours, so I called a different locksmith service, as I had to get to work. I was called back to say that they could not come out and although it was a different company, it's the same locksmith and it will be at least 2 more hours. They will either call you to explain why they can't make it on time, or simply call to cancel. It blows my mind that this is how business works in Columbus. If I could give zero stars I would, as I now have to take a vacation day due to terrible service.

They claimed it was not them even though I have receipt, phone records, and text messages from technician!!! Will be filing reports with BBB, attorney general, FTC, and a few others as well as filing lawsuit.

I called to get a quote - I told them I wasn't interested. They called me back 10 minutes later telling me they had a guy heading my way. I told them I never scheduled this appointment - I made an appointment elsewhere. I got another call from them 10 minutes after that asking about my van that I couldn't get into - once again - I told them I found another company. 15 minutes later they have a guy in front of my building telling me I scheduled this appointment. They lack listening, and they push their services on you. Worse Locksmith ever.

They opened the lock for my van and told me over the phone there is a 19 service fee +30 to open then when they get here it's 189 so my van was 150 dollars harder to open then a car????? He was here maybe 10 minutes. You don't feel like you have been help in your time of need. You feel like you had be taken advantage of. If they would have told me over the phone that it was going to be almost 200 dollars I wouldn't have used them..... if you want to be kicked why your down go ahead give them a call.......

I called about getting new keys for my car since I lost mine, received a price from the desk, then the locksmith on his way to my car calls and says it's going to be about $100 dollars more than the highest possible price they already gave me. When I brought up the price I was already given, he proceeded to "lower" the price to $90 more than I was told. When I calmy refused to pay more than I was told, he got very angry, insulted me, and hung up on me. I don't know what kind of scam this place is, stay away. 0 out of 5 stars.

I found myself in an awkward situation, arriving home from work after picking up my kids, and not being able to find my keys. I found Columbus Locksmith online and asked them to urgently dispatch a locksmith to my address. Within 18 minutes a locksmith had arrived, and he was able to pick the lock within a couple of minutes without drilling the door. Thanks for saving the day guys.

I called Columbus locksmith to get my apartment door unlocked because my dogs were locked inside and my own apartment wouldn’t help. It took them two hours to get there. When they got there they said they couldn’t unlock the door, that they had to replace The whole lock. They charged me $250 dollars and jacked up my apartment door. I do not recommend this company.

I want to be clear in my review that this has nothing to do with the gentleman that actually performed the service. He was very nice and well mannered. My issue is with Pop A Lock, Better World Club, and the service they use to vet their vendors. My automobile club, Better World Club (like AAA), was called because my wife had a flat tire. I arrived to changed the tire since she was around the corner. I could not get the lug nuts off because they were put on with an impact wrench and I didn't have enough leverage from the stock lug wrench. After the initial wait time of an hour, I called on the progress of the tow truck and I was advised it would be an additional 20 minutes. This was agitating because I simply needed a breaker bar for additional leverage. The gentleman from Pop A Lock called me and said that he had arrived and was by the car. I was confused. I did not see a tow truck or a commercial vehicle with business logos. There was a young man in carharts standing next to the car. He had arrived in his personal car with his girlfriend. Again, no fault to the young man that helped. But what kind of company sends an employee out in their personal car with no markings? What would the young man have done should the car needed to be towed? The 1996 Hyundai Accent he arrived in wouldn't have been up to the task. Would the Girlfriend have gotten out and pushed? That was a very sketchy situation initially. What if that had been a single female, scared along the side of the road? Completely unprofessional on Pop A Locks part and Better World Club. Make sure that if you are in a similar situation that you ask who is arriving and if they are in a marked commercial vehicle.

This was more than 5 stars experience for me! I called 5! companies, 1 didnt work at 1 a.m other didnt provide lockout service, and only clumbus locksmith offered good price and 25 minutes arrival time. I was in in half an hour since calling. Thank you Bill! God bless and happy holiday.

THE POINT: they made us wait over 2.5 hours despite multiple promises of "fifteen minutes" and "five minutes" and overcharged us horribly when someone finally showed up. Elaboration: the WORST company to call for a lockout. it took them over TWO AND A HALF HOURS to have someone finally show up at our home for a lockout. two young girls sitting outside in the middle of downtown at night for two and a half hours - we expressed that our situation was not the safest and they showed no urgency. we called MANY times and each time were told that "someone should be calling in about five minutes" and yet it took over two hours for someone to actually call. when i expressed my frustration to the employee on the phone he said "i didn't tell you anything, i just started working 20 minutes ago." dismissing responsibility for his company completely. even further, when someone finally did show up, they drilled our lock and charged us $118. i guarantee you can go somewhere cheaper. i cannot believe this lazy, irresponsible company is still in business.

Don't let all of these bogus good reviews fool you. I'd give this place zero stars if I could. Shady business practice. HORRIBLE customer service. They don't care and management is a joke. If you call in with a complaint expect to be transferred around, hung up on and placed on hold multiple times by people who never come back to the phone. Dealing with this now after being duped into paying a higher labor fee by their technician, then told it was my fault for agreeing to a charge I only agreed to to begin with, because I was misled. They are absolutely awful. Disputing the charge with my credit card company now and will never do business with place again

The "guy" (never gave me his name) was more than glad to come out to Marysville to make a key for my car. He got there and told me he didn't have a fob for my car so he made a temporary (3 actually) key AND PAID HIM. He told me the best way to get a fob is on-line and to call him when I got it. I thought he was very helpful. I got the fob(s) and texted him. He said he'd get back when he looked at his schedule. Crickets. I called him and he was upset that I'd expect him to drive 40 miles out of his way. I offered to meet him closer. He'd check his schedule. Crickets. I called. The girl who answered ask if i already paid. I said yes. She said she'd pass on the message. Nothing. Called and got voice mail. Nothing. It's been 9 months and all I got was a plain old key and broken promises. Bottom line: don't pay til you have what you need.

Last, month I was on holiday, I lost the key to my vehicle, my other spare key was at house so I desperately needed to have new key made.
