Called when I really needed help getting into my apartment after locking myself out in the middle of the night. A female answered and asked me to text her my address so she could text me back a quote for the service. We hung up and I texted it to her. 10 minutes passed with no reply and no phone call back. I called back and there was no answer, and the voicemail box was full. I kept trying to reach her, and they kept ignoring my calls. Some 24 hour service.

I called and spoke to Evan. I explained the security door knob broke off in my hand, I sent him a picture and he said he could likely fix it. He came out and charged me a $75 service call fee. He Took my whole doorknob mechanism and said he would be back that day with a new knob and there would be ANOTHER service call fee of $75 PLUS around $60 for the parts. After a few calls and texts and a promise he would call me...he didnt. I should have just got a new door. The 2nd service call fee should not be applied in all fairness, I want my $75 back **update they took my $75 and my door knob and still have not received call. I will be reporting to BBB and consumer protection agency

The positive vibes when calling for service will taken the stress of the situation out of the picture. The guarantee to be there within a certain amount of time is always a plus, because you aren't left in limbo for too long. I 100% recommend this locksmith over anyone else I've used. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because I know I was a difficult situation. I was parked in a huge lot to a ticketed event, late at night (not easy to access). I needed an ignition key only because my door key and my ignition key were different and I was already inside my vehicle. They were aware of this situation prior to dispatching a technician. When the technician arrived, we were not greeted (we didn’t even learn his name). After 3 hours of no success, we decided to call a ride and call my mechanic in the morning. It was then and only then when he decided to go ahead and make a door key, even though we had expressed to him that we absolutely did not need a door key. He would not listen to us & did not stop until we locked up the truck and told him we were leaving. He proceeded to charge us for a door key (once again, NOT why we called him out). Very disappointed with the service & the company. They advertise that if you leave a good review, they’ll knock money off your total..but I doubt this qualifies me for that offer.

So, I haven’t lived in Ohio very long, I have very few friends. I go out with a friend and get back to my place, unload my groceries, purse, cell, keys (yeah, that’s important), and walk out to say goodnight to my co-worker...sigh, the door shuts and locks with me outside. We call 24 Hour and they are there within five minutes, and they got the door open without damaging the lock. All I can say is 24 Hour Locksmiths Columbus are now my only Locksmiths. I highly recommend them, excellent service!

Quick service that is very reasonably priced. I had a difficult problem with the wrong key stuck in the car ignition. Evan worked diligently to minimize the damage and the amount of disassembly/reassembly required. Sought assistance from others when he had tried all the usual steps. Was successful in removing the key, We only paid the amount of the initial quote, even though the work took MUCH longer than a simple key extraction would take.

When other businesses are saying no, 24 hour locksmiths is saying “We’ll find a way!” I was impressed with the sense of urgency, the professionalism and tenacity of Charity, (the woman who runs it ALL). She was thorough and knew exactly what type of service she could provide by just looking at pictures...I love that she even asked for pictures. 24 hour Locksmiths, don’t typically offer lockboxes thus they didn’t have a lockbox (which I needed desperately) in stock. Charity rushed to provide the best service she could, sending a technician to Loews while it was closing in literally 5 minutes. She gave me her word that she’d get everything done for me in a few moments. Talk about AMAZING service!
