Replaced a key for my 2004 VW Passat after the RFID/Immobilizer was damaged. I was able to switch the cut blade from the old one and program the transmitter for the keyless, but I needed the RFID added to the car. Called Harmony and they wanted $105 for the 10 minutes of work. I took it up to American and they did the programming for $40. They also had a hard to find blank for a storage unit lock.. Great Guys for each of the times that I have used them!!

I had gone all over town, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Ace hardware, no one could make me a copy of my cabinet’s keys, that would work. I literally was at American Eagle for 10 minutes, and the humble very nice man (not sure his name because I was there only minutes) had my three keys made and sitting there. On top of it, it didn’t cost more than the regular stores. I got back to work and yes all three work!! Thank you!!

Had to replace a lost car remote, dealers wanted $90/ea, this cut and programed them for $30/ea. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Wish more places were like this instead of trying to waste as much of your time and money as possible.

Obtaining two new remote key fobs for my 2010 Malibu from American Eagle Locksmith was easy and such a pleasant experience. The cost was $64.05 per fob, including programming and taxes (but I feel certain this cost varies according to auto). The cost was less than half the estimate from three other sources; the locksmith had the fob in stock so there was no wait time -- I called ahead though in case the fob needed to be ordered. The folks at this company appreciate their customers, and I appreciate knowing about this company.

I have worked with American Eagle several times. Once for a locked out of the car situation (he responded quickly and was quick and effective) and twice cutting keys and re-keying locks for a European motorcycle that another local locksmith said they could not do. He did it fast and reasonably. Always my first choice.

If you're in the market for a safe, start here. Staff was great and patient as they explained the various models, features and prices. I ordered a normal house key that the owner, Allan, promised would only take two days to come in. I am still waiting for the order, it's been over a week. Everytime I call to check in on the order and if they have contacted the vendor/distributor they are rude and quick to be defensive. It is obvious they have no interest in helping customers and keeping them informed on products. I suggest going to Ace Hardware in Skyland. They can order the same products and they are professional and reasonably priced. Good luck if you go to American Eagle Locksmith and be prepared for a rude service person.

THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST! I HAD A SIMPLE KEY SWITCH THAT I NEEDED A KEY MADE FOR (BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE ANY KEY FOR IT). I BROUGHT THE SWITCH TO ANOTHER LOCKSMITH, BECAUSE THEY WERE ALMOST NEXT DOOR AND SEEMED LIKE A SIMPLE JOB. THE OTHER PEOPLE HAD THE SWITCH FOR A WEEK AND A HALF AND CALLED ME AND SAID THEY COULD NOT MAKE IT WORK. I BROUGHT IT TO AMERICAN EAGLE AND AL HAD A KEY MADE AND WORKING IN LITERALLY A COUPLE OF MINUTES. I WON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE FROM NOW ON!!!

I was quite distressed last night when my grandson called me to pick him up at work but my key would not move whatsoever in the ignition -- even though I attempted to move the steering wheel. I had to call AAA for a tow. The tow driver attempted several times to start the car for me and finally got it started, but it was obvious to me this old car needed the ignition switch replaced. The Acura dealership service department was closed for the weekend as was my auto repair shop. I googled automotive locksmiths and found American Eagle. Since they are close to me I called them. I was told that the older Honda & Acura vehicles have problems with these ignition switches. I was expecting a repair cost of $150 or more but when I got there Al looked at my key and came out to my car, sprayed the ignition with WD40 and inserted and withdrew the key numerous times, each time wiping off tiny grains of dirt. He could have charged me to replace my ignition switch but did not. I asked him what I owed him and he responded, "Owe for what?" "For working this miracle!" I said. "No charge." I will definitely use and trust them for any future lock problems I have.

I used American Eagle Locksmith to change the locks at my office and they did a great job. They came in after my normal business hours and took care of changing out all of the locks and even made me copies of the keys so I was ready to go with all of my staff. They did a great job, were fast, and well priced. I was also shocked to know that my locks before were installed wrong and were not actually working! If you need any copies of keys made or your home or office locks changed you should definitely use them.

Arrived at my workplace in less than an hour. In less than 15 minutes , David retrieved the broken key from the ignition and made me two new ones on site. David was very polite and professional as well as the young lady answering in the office and dispatching. Fees were very reasonable. I spent the day going to Lowe's, Walmart and a local Chevy dealer looking to have a set of spare keys for my 2000 Pontiac Trans Am. None of these places had the correct blank key for my car (I was surprized the Chevy/GM Dealer didn't have it, as most people known Pontiac was built by GM). But both the Chevy dealer and Lowe's told me to try American Eagle Locksmith in Fletcher, NC. Thou it was 20 miles from the Chevy dealer, I decided I had nothing to lose. When I go the American Eagle I walked up to the counter and ask if they could make me two sets of key for a 2000 Trans Am, which out even looking they said yes. Within 3 minutes I had two full sets of keys (at the Half the Price the other locations were going to charge me if they had the Key Blanks). I walked out of American Eagle and tried both sets of keys and they worked like the originals. I was very happy I made the trip to Fletcher and would recommend them to anyone who needs any type of keys made.

Always extremely helpful. I have very unique locks on my doors. No other local locksmiths seem to have the key blanks, including big box stores such as Lowes, Home Depot, or local hardware stores. American Eagle has had them both times I needed additional keys. They make them quickly and at reasonable prices.
