I recently moved to a new apartment in Tribeca and needed to install a deadbolt. The first time I walked into the apartment with my keys, I noticed that the edge of the door was really tight against the door frame, which made opening the door a bit difficult. David arrived to install the deadbolt, and when he saw the issue with the door, he proceeded to fix it to ensure that the deadbolt would be aligned properly. He inspected the door hinges and saw that the door was hinged incorrectly. At NO CHARGE, he rehinged my door before presenting me with several dead bolt options! Tribeca Locksmith certainly knows how to provide premium service and build a long-term customer base. A week after I moved in, my brother unknowingly pressed a metal switch in the side of the door and got us locked out. I called Tribeca Locksmith again and David came as quickly as he could. He was fixing a lock out in Williamsburg at the time and even called to give me a traffic update. I was distraught and angry at my brother for ruining my plans for the evening, but David was so accommodating that I calmed down tremendously and was so thankful that he got me back in the apartment without having to break any of the locks/knobs. I'm glad I called Tribeca Locksmith, they have my business for as long as I'm in NYC and I'd recommend them to everyone I know!

I needed a lock swapped out, I put in a request for a quote online and got a pretty quick response, David pinged me right away and scheduled a time to get the work done. When he ran late, I was updated periodically via text message. I wish UPS and cable were so diligent. He analyzed my old lock and door, made recommendations and gave me my options. The work is solid, affordable and great service.

I locked myself out of my apt and I waited an hour for my landlord. When he finally showed up, he brought the wrong key! So I called Tribeca Locksmith. It only took them 15min to get to my apt (in the pouring rain). They opened my door in less than 10min. I paid $85, which is sort of expensive. However, I probably would have paid more. They were really nice and accommodating. I highly recommend them if you're in a bind!

Eric was great and went above and beyond to help us -- even going to home depot to find a door knob that matched other knobs that we had on a double front door. He was very friendly, and did a great job. Easy to schedule appointment time, great follow-up.

My grandma has a lock in her house that is so much older than me. She said to me that lock is 25 years old, but she always complains that the lock seems to give her problems evrytime she tries to open the door it takes her about 5 minutes to get the key working. I decided to surprise her and change her locks right away. I scheduled an appointment with a guy named Mike and he was able to come in the next day at 3pm. I left work early just so i can oversee how they do the job. Mike did an incredible job replacing the lock easily and such a clean work. My grandmother calls me every day to tell me how happy she is. Thank you Mike for all :)

My tenants were complaining that the buildings door closer is broken, I had to find someone to repair it fast. My super has been away for a few days so I had to call them. I met Joe the next day and he told me that the whole thing needed replacement. I agreed becuase the last time I had the door closer fixed I felt like it was such a waste. its better to replace the whole thing for almost the same price. He changed the door closer and it looks great. I hope I dont have to call them again but I feel I will not have to.

What else you would want from a locksmith, they were professional, prompt, competitively priced and upfront with the information. I got a deadbolt installed (went with the $170 version), they're very honest describing the differences and which one suits your need. Great service, very personable guy who came and installed the deadbolt; exactly what you want when you have somebody coming to install something in your home.

This was such a good experience. My backpack was stolen this weekend with my keys and a piece of mail with my address inside. I was obviously nervous about someone out there having my keys and address, so I decided to get the locks changed. I called Tribeca Locksmith since they were the closest to me. I think the guy I had was David..he was great! Very quick and very professional. He was also very flexible with timing when I kept changing my schedule around. I had him install a chain lock for me and I already had the lock he just had to drill it in. Good price as well, so many other locksmith companies tried to rip me off for this simple job. He was able to get my front lock working again, the front door and and back staircase door working with the same key and minimal interruptions to my meetings.
