Jammed apartment door lock - 2pm on a Wednesday - made the fatal mistake of using these sharks because they were in the area and available. Quoted the following - $29 to turn up - $275 to open the door - $65 to take the broken lock out of the door - $475 to put in a new mortise lock - total $844 They were paid $304 for turning up and opening the door. They wanted to charged “sales tax” if you paid by credit card. Obviously not declaring anything to the NYS tax department.

The NY Locksmiths were great to work with! I was able to text them photos to identify the service / hardware I needed. Coordinating with them was seamless and I was able to schedule an appointment within the hour. Not only was the process painless, but they were very friendly and even helped me mount my tv! Would highly recommend.

I called them when I was locked out of my apartment and needed service asap. Of course I had called a few other locations before whom stated they will send someone right away but I ended up waiting and waiting without anyone showing up . Finally when I called the NY locksmith , they sent a guy literally within minutes . He knew what he was doing , I was in my home in no time and they were reasonable on the pricing too. Will certainly use them in the future if ever in need.

The best locksmith company in NYC, hands down! I got stuck out of my apartment last week around midnight and panicked. I called a few different locksmith companies because it was so cold outside and I just wanted to go into my apartment. I thought, since it was so late, it will take forever for the locksmith person to come and I was very stressed. To my great surprise, NY locksmith were so fast, professional and efficient and I couldn't believe such company and such customer service still exist in NYC! They were so nice over the phone from the first moment and were the fastest to respond.The technician, Jonathan, called to let me know he is on his way and he was there in less then 25 minutes. He was very friendly and supper professional and I could tell he knows exactly what he was doing. He changed my lock very fast and made me feel like I am in good hands! He even brought me some chocolate and we had a late night snack :) Seriously, getting locked out of my apartment turned into a much better experience thanks to this great company and Jonathan, so thank you! I highly recommend NY locksmith if you ever need a locksmith service! Hadar
