It was quick and it was efficient, however it is extremely overpriced, not to mention that I was gimmicked into having a doorknob installed (which was unnecessary at that time) and then was charged $270 for the doorknob alone, a doorknob which costs less than $50 online. After trying to get a hold of a “manager” for two days in order to return the doorknob (of which I was willing to personally uninstall and deliver to their location in a brand new condition) each time they told me “we’ll call you back” or “I’ll check with the manager”, someone, who was not the illusive manager, after dragging me along the whole day tells me “we don’t do refunds”. Not once was I told that and it is nowhere on their website or any form of social media. I had to resort to calling my bank and opening up a dispute. In what world does a doorknob cost $270. The person who installed my doorknob simply made up a price, of which I was unable to argue with at the time. Extremely unprofessional and rude.

I was locked out late one Friday night after partying with my co-workers and I called smiley lock smith to see if they could help me get in. they sent joe over and he responded to my house very quick and had a positive attitude that it wasn't a problem to get me in to my apartment. they are now going to be my go to locksmith when I need assistance or my family members need assistance getting out of a bad situation of being locked out. I recommend their services to al my friends & co-workers. They get a thumbs up from me for their service

Professional scammers! Classic bait and switch, DON'T TRUST! They will rip you off, They take advantage from people. Quoiting lower price over the phone $19 for service and $35, When technician on site, He says "it's never been $54 for any locksmith service, Office trying to catch customers like that". He will try to charge you as much as he can! $600 for opening one regular very simple door!! Destroyed door and a lock!! Guy driving beat up sedan, Out of state plates. He showed up and was totally out of it, Smelled like he had taken a bath in marijuana and used beer as soap. Stay away from this company!

If I could give a 0 star I would. My girlfriend had to wait in the cold for over an hour waiting for the locksmith to show up when we were told a 10-15 minute arrival time. When she called the locksmith after 30 minutes of waiting he said he was only a few minutes away, and it took him another 30 minutes to arrive. He charged her around $250 to open her front door. When she asked for a price range on the phone they refused to tell her and was given no choice when the smith came to open the door. Overal, a terrible experience. I would never recommend anyone use their service unless they want to wait for an unreasonable amount and be ripped off.

Friendly, professional, and so fast. Less than twenty minutes from the time I placed the call, to being back inside my apartment. That kind of service comes at a price, but well worth it in my opinion. If you disagree, you've likely never been locked outside in your pajamas.

I locked myself out of my condo in Williamsburg on a Monday night. I called up and asked for help. Within 15 minutes a tech called me back and said he was 10 minutes away... He showed, was super friendly and looked at both doors. He was able to open one. And even gave me some helpful suggestions on how to improve the security of my home. It was expensive (160 total) but well worth it. I was in my home within a few minutes of him arriving. Thank you again, Avi.

They sent the technician fast. The technician, Ariel, was very nice and professional. I suggest you request him. Lock seems to be in right but I just got it, so hopefully, it will continue to work well. Please be aware that when you are quoted a price for a lock, that includes lock and installation. Otherwise, you will have sticker shock on the cost of the lock. I took two stars because i wish that was explained to me more clearly by the person who took the service request given that locks themselves are not expensive. Also, even though I know that immediate service comes with a price, i feel like the $29 base service call fee (just to show up) plus $250 for lock and installation was a bit high. I

Was told over the phone it would cost $29 for the service call plus $65 to open my locked door. Somehow when he gets here, because it's a 5 point lock (read: regular doorknob) it costs $180 plus tax. $295 plus tax to put on a new doorknob. Took less than 60 seconds to drill a hole in the knob and that comes to $180?? crooks!

Total rip off! They quoted me $74 to replace a mailbox lock and ended up costing $220 for a 5 minute job. Stay clear.

BE AWARE THESE GUYS ARE A RIP OFF DON'T HAVE THEM DO ANY WORK UNLESS PRICING IS DISCUSSED!! , tech charged me $179 to install a regular lock that took 15mins to complete and had the nerve to up sell me on a $300 lock (BS!!!!)......I contacted the company requesting a quote sales rep declined on pricing via the phone and stated tech will provide price onsite. Tech arrived again I inquired on pricing but no answer, he proceed to remove old lock and install new lock then gave a pricing of $179 (he's lucky I even considered to pay it because I was going to tell me to take his ish and leave) but because timing was vital I sucked it up and proceed.

I cannot day enough amazing things. The locksmith went above and beyond with a v difficult European lock. He tried everything and was so tenacious. He was also kind and courteous. When the parts came in he came out after 11pm to install and make my house safe for the night. Thank you Ariel.

Scammers!!! Bunch of con artists, Starting from person answering phone to “technichian” who’s coming to your house. First of all, They started lying about ETA and wasted my whole day. 30 minutes ETA become 4 hour. Every time we called back, He was 10 minutes away for 4 hours. When he finally made it here, Price magically went up from $29 + $45 to $500. He started talking about how high secuirty lock i had and it was so difficult ( Had that lock installed by local handyman, Cheap lock from Lowe’s), He messed up my door and lock wasn’t installed properly, Got locked in my house next day. Couldn’t get out from my house. Anyway, Don’t trust these people, They’re not local, Prices are made up by technician’s mood or how expensive house/car you have. I would’t recommend this business, Make your research before you hire a locksmith!

The price was not needed to be 160 and trying to rip off people when it is a simple screw driver and no lock change or drilling were required. When it all required a screwdriver open the room door. When it is already more than the price than it is. The technician didn’t have a dollar and requested me to forgot the 1 dollar change and ask for it as a tip. If you don’t have any option then call this place. I suggest sorting it out yourself before calling this place. And the service call was not clear when calling and being very forward.

Tom is the man for the job . Thanks for helping me and my mother , her car key fell and broke , and the car wouldn’t recognize the car key because it no longer had the chip inside . So Tom came and made us another Key and saved our day . Good price too .
