Went there to get a spare key made for my 2008 Chevrolet van they gave me a price of $65 For a cheap knock off key and the best is the person behind the counter was acting like he was giving me a amazing price .went to another locksmith they made. Me an Orignal Chevrolet key for $45.

Quality Workmanship & Old Fashioned Above & Beyond Service. Did great work in my home and was kind enough to notice and make minor repairs to completely unrelated issues. Did my work request in an unexpectedly fast manner. Gentleman and conscientious workers leaving no trace of their work debris. I encountered an ignition problem with my car on 5/20/15. My mechanic referred me to Richmond Lock and Key for resolution to the problem. I entered the facility and met with Mike who explained what the problem was and what needed to be done to resolve it. He also explained it would take time to work on it and made me as comfortable as he could while I waited for it to be fixed. He estimated the cost and was confident in his approach to solve the issue at hand. I was glad to have been referred to this business since after this experience I know they are efficient,knowledgeable and truthful in their dealings. They helped me as quickly as possible even though they were also attending to appointments,phone calls and walk-ins like myself. They were polite and answered all of my questions. I also noticed how they were also courteous to anyone who called or walked in while I waited for my car to be fixed. Excellent customer service is a lost art today BUT this business still excels in providing excellent customer service while providing excellent resolution to the problem. I walked away feeling confident that they are fully knowledgeable in all aspects of this field of service. I will use this business again when needed and will refer family and friends when asked .

They are open!! You can find parking on Osborn St. or on Hylan Blvd. right after Wiman Ave. It's funny because the locksmith was telling me people can't find parking to this place, and as soon as I leave, someone was outside asking about where to park for the store

Great Locksmith. Bought a used 2001 jeep - it only came with one key and no remote. Mike and Billy were courteous and helpful. Made me a second key and a remote in about 10 minutes. All while answering phone calls and helping out at least 2 other people that were in shop while I was there. Price was way less then dealership quoted. Would recommend highly and plan on using again anytime I have a key problem.

Very quick and excellent service. Had a foreign storm door lock that was irreplaceable without replacing the whole door. Took off the lock, opened it, found it needed a new leaf spring, which in my case is a custom fitted design, had no choice but to bring it in for a repair. These guys were able to custom make a new spring and had it functioning like new. This isn't exactly the cheapest job, but if you're on the fence between repairing your foreign made door lock or replacing the whole door, fixing the lock is by far a more viable option. Of course if it's a American type standard lock, it would've been cheaper to simply replace the lock, but in my case, the lock had to be repaired or I'd be shopping for a new storm door.

We just bought our son his first car it only came with one key so we went to this place to purchase A second key we have never been in here before first of all The prices where outrageous and second the person assisting us was unsure of himself and arrogant When I left there very disappointed We went to another place and it was a wonderful pleasant experience I also have also noticed a lot of other negative reviews about this company from other individuals and the owner or manager who responds to them tries and belittles the reviewer written like they are lying making this all up then they immediately get good reviews to fade away the negative ones well in fact I’m sure all the negative reviews are true well I’m telling you first hand what happened to us in this establishment.
