When I called a Locksmith early morning, I spoke to Doug. I have only good words to describe my experience: Doug and his team are incredible to work with. They were fast to react to my lockout inquiry and the technician (I hope I'm right about the definition, anyway - he was a locksmith expert) arrived promptly and opened my door without any issue. Fast, professional and kind. I highly recommend their service to anyone with any locksmith related need. I had a meeting with a client in one of the real estates I have been trying to sell. Its an old apartment that needs a lot of work and when I say a lot that means A LOT!! As soon we got in we got stuck and I wasn’t able to open the door. The customer was not impressed and wanted to leave as soon as possible. I contacted a locksmith prior to calling this spot, they quoted me to over $100 and said they will come in half hour. I didn't want the client to wait longer than 5 minutes so I tried to call a few more spots. When I reached them they told me they will be here in 10-15 minutes tops but they arrived by us in less than 10 minutes. Wow!!!! I am so happy i got out of there and most of all my customer will never see the apartment again :)

Eric provided excellent and quality work on the locks and doors in our new place. I am so impressed with everything he did for us. I recently renovated my apartment but didn't feel safe with the existing locks and the bedroom doors needed some extra work. I hired Eric to come over to replace the locks on my door. He also fixed the lock and the door to my bedroom which now opens and closes perfectly. I was originally told by my contractor that I would need to replace the entire door but Eric was able to fix it! He saved me a lot of money. I have already recommended Eric and East Village Locksmith to all of my friends because he is knowledgeable, trustworthy and a hard worker. His prices are great, too! This is a service contact that I will hold on to for years to come! So glad I found Eric!

My Aiphone Intercom unit stopped communicating with the phone line. I contacted East Village Locksmith & Security Systems to set up an appointment and scheduled Eric to come out a few days later. Eric was on time, figured out the wiring problem and resolved it in under 30 minutes! Excellent work. Communication by email and text were very easy (scheduling, status updates, etc.). I lost my keys today, had to call a locksmith, I found Eric on yelp, he gave me the best quote. $150 to open and replace my lock. Eric came in with a 45 minutes notice, I was late and he waited for me. The lock was tricky and took a bit of time to open but he did it, without any complaints. He's amazing and the service was A grade. Price was the cheapest I found too!

We just moved into our new apartment in the East Village and needed to change the locks. We found Eric by doing a quick google search for East Village Locksmiths, Eric had great reviews and sure enough we were not disappointed. He was very knowledgeable and gave us good advice on the different types of locks and deadbolts that he recommends for a secure and affordable choice, but did not try and sell you. Oh and he likes dogs and was 100% cool with my little yapper being around and annoying. Thank you Eric!

This was the MOST pleasant and inexpensive lock out experience I've ever had. Eric responded right away and was at my location within 10 minutes. I contacted Eric through a recommendation from a neighbor in the East Village who hired him a few months back for a mortise lock repair. I live in the East Village for almost 5 years and haven't hired a locksmith since the first time I moved in and needed a lock changed, and that was anything but a pleasant experience, between getting hustled by my movers and then the locksmith, I wasn't thrilled to get my locks rekeyed. I called Eric and he gave me a quote over the phone and a one hour window for the service later that same day. He called about 30 minutes before the start of the window and advised he was on his way. He arrived right on time. He was professional, thorough, and extremely quick. His prices were also very reasonable. One of the best experiences I have had with someone providing a locksmith service. I highly recommend him and would not hesitate to use him again.

We wanted to change out some old locks and update others, including a panic bar, at our new location for work. I called Eric; he was honest, upfront and gave me his best recommendations. He worked together with our contractor to get me the best solutions for installing new doors, installing a new panic bar, and provide me with a master key. The entire job took three days! It was so efficient and great, definitely would use him again.

Our front door lock suddenly stopped working this past weekend. The door knob rotated, but the latch remained firmly locked. Tried to fix it myself, but it quickly became apparent this was not a quick fix. Called a few local locksmiths before speaking with Eric. He immediately diagnosed the problem, suggested a few solutions and gave me a quote right over the phone. Eric arrived on time, showed me the issue, took his time to explain to me why it could't be fixed and switched out my front door hardware and provided me with new keys. 30 minutes from start to finish. Hopefully I will never need a locksmith service again, but if I do.... I'll give him a call.

If you're in need of a locksmith look no further! Eric is THE locksmith. We lost our mailbox key and needed to get into our mailbox and Eric came to our rescue; super accommodating. He was on time, super nice, and fast! Also, very reasonably priced. ($60) If you ever find yourself locked out of your mailbox or need your mailbox lock replaced, Eric is the one to call. Seriously, don't bother looking anywhere else.

Thanks to everyone that helped me out, I had a huge problem with someone living in my apartment and wouldn't leave I wanted to change the locks asap. I called Eric who I've used before and he was just as fast and reliable the second time. He showed up at the time we scheduled changed my bottom lock cylinder in under 5 min. And gave me a hell of a deal on a new deadbolt lock which he drilled out the holes for. I really appreciate everything I feel very safe.
