Wow. Amazing customer service. I was locked out of my apartment with NO keys and no phone. I had a neighbor call these guys for me. While waiting for them to show up (neighbor was gone), my landlord actually was able to let me in. The locksmiths came by while I was on a super important call - I told them I no longer needed their services. They wanted me to pay a fee for coming by anyway, which I was happy to do but I needed to finish my call first. I told them to come back in 10 minutes, and they did, but my call unfortunately took much longer than that. By the time I was ready, they had already left. I felt guilty that I wasn't able to pay the guys for coming by and (potentially) saving the day for me so I called them a few days later to explain the situation. They waived the fee for me! Such nice guys!

So I called up Cypress Ave Locksmith to come by and fix it for me as soon as possible. They gave great locksmith service and did so in a very fast and efficient manner, it was just what i needed in that situation.

TERRIBLE. I called and literally said "I need to know the price for a dead bolt." I was told that they need to come check it out so I said ok. Someone else calls me and says he's the technician and asks if I need to change my locks. I verbatim say, "No, I just need to know the price for a dead bolt." "Fresh or do you have holes?" "Fresh." "Ok, I need to come take a look to let you know." I say ok. Guy says he'll be here in half an hour. He shows up an hour later and tells me it's $370 for a regular one if I pay cash and $470 for one with a code. I say ok thank you. I'll let my landlord know. Then he proceeds to bully me asking why I wasn't clear on the phone that I don't need one right now because he came all the way out. WTF. I said numerous times that I just need to know the price of a deadbolt. I tell him that I didn't ask him to come out. Both the original person I spoke with and he requested to do so to let me know the correct pricing. Then he says, "We don't do estimates. We do service." Ok, so again, this is not on ME. I literally said that I need to know the cost. He continues on and on yelling at me causing a scene in the hallway of my apartment building and saying that I should've been more clear on the phone and let him know that I did not need this done today and I need to call my landlord right now so he can do it.
